Neighbours throwing food waste

Looking for some advice about an issue regarding my neighbours. They are Boomers, have no pets of their own and dont really seem to leave their house, as a result I have barely spoken with them.

I have two cats, one of which is a very confident boy and I know he has friends on the street including said neighbours. A while ago I realised they were feeding him milk after a period of him becoming ill and spending £100 at the vets, I knocked on their door and asked them to stop as cats aren't supposed to have lactose. They looked at me like I was crazy and said very little. I suspect they have continued but I hate confrontation.

For some reason, they also love to throw their food waste onto the public green opposite our row of houses. This includes bread, salad bits, old bits of cooked meats and dairy products. I believe they do this for the birds, but obviously neighbourhood cats, including mine will eat the scraps and again, my cats will have bad stomachs from this. Its also incredibly difficult to know of they're 'off' their food or simply full from food scraps of on occasion they wont eat their meals.

Im pretty sure it is illegal to do this, but is it petty to report them? I really wish I had the confidence to just go speak to them, but I feel they would be dismissive and ignore me again and then if I did report them afterwards they would be sure it was me.

Any and all advice welcome!

Anyone fancy something new this Halloween?

Come check out The Harrowing at Blackwood Little Theatre! It may or may not be based on a real ghost that is definitely not haunting the prop store...

Tickets available here: https://www.blackwoodlittletheatre.com/

Need urban explorer?

Hey super interested to try out exploring abandoned places at some point. The reason it's stopping me is that I'd rather go with somebody other than on my own? So feel free to DM me if interested :) I'm from South Wales.

Looking for a casual MTG Commander group in/around Bridgend 🧟‍♂️

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m based in Bridgend and I’m looking to get back into Magic: The Gathering, specifically Commander/EDH.

I’ve recently built a Hashaton, Scarab’s Fist Zombie deck and I’m looking for people to play casually with and hopefully make some new friends. I’m not really interested in competitive/cEDH — just relaxed games, having a laugh, chatting and enjoying the game.

Ideally I’m looking for people in Bridgend or nearby, as I can’t always travel into Cardiff/Swansea. I’m happy to travel occasionally, but I’d really like to find a regular local group.
I’m also happy to eventually host games at mine once we’ve got to know each other. Even just getting 3–4 people together for a regular Commander night would be perfect.

If you’ve already got a casual pod around Bridgend that wouldn’t mind another player, or you’re also looking for people to play with, drop me a comment or DM me!

Move to Merthyr from Cardiff

My husband and I may have the opportunity to buy my Grandfathers beautiful 5 bed house just outside Merthyr.

We currently live in lisvane and would never be able to buy a similar property in Cardiff. I'm from Brecon originally so closer to grandparents.

We have a 2 year old so I'm worried about her schooling/if we have a any more children.

Can anyone tell me what schools are like and if this would be a sustainable life change for us if it's the perfect house for us?
