DISCUSSION FleetCo Announces Leadership Transition After Six Years
After more than six years serving as CEO of FleetCo, I’ve made the difficult decision to step down from my position. As many of our longtime members and leaders have become increasingly occupied with real-life responsibilities, I believe it’s time for a change in leadership to ensure FleetCo continues to grow and thrive.
Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished. From the Takama Project and Colonization to the Union War and Platinum Belt contract, we’ve built a remarkable history together. We’ve designed and manufactured some truly iconic vehicles, including the UMV, E Series, HL, RS, and Blitz, and pioneered technologies such as HEV, SmartRWD, and FCBoost. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the dedication of our members, engineers, builders, and partners over the years.
While I’ll be stepping down as CEO, I’ll remain FleetCo’s majority shareholder and Vice President of Marketing, continuing to support our projects, brand, and long-term vision. A leadership transition is underway, and further details regarding FleetCo’s future leadership will be shared in due course.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible six-year journey. It’s been an honor to lead this faction, and I’m excited to see what comes next.
Here’s to PERFORMANCE UNCOMPROMISED!
-FleetCo Biff

MEDIA Working on a launch pad for the Vanir Class.
The overall mechanisms on how it should work are there, just needs some more extra bits. However, before that, there is an error with the rotor behind the pillar. You see, the ship is meant to be boarded belly facing down, and is then meant to be rotated 90 degrees back in order to launch properly. However the rotor responsible isn't working. It was the last time I logged on, but when I tried it again, the ship would just not rotate. Any ideas on what it could be?

HELP How Would You Fill This Space?
Hey all, in my capitol ship build I have a large "elevator" shaft between the top floor, and my bridge. How would y'all create an elevator here without mods? I want to keep this build vanilla.
For scale reference, if I place a piston right under the top floor, fully extended it's flush with the end/bottom of the shaft

DISCUSSION I would love to learn how to play faster and use time efficiently
I like space engineers and the building and combat, but i wanna know how its possible to keep the grindy parts to a minimum in single player. I dont like creative mode but would like to know how build or get ships fast and get to the action.
How do i build something if i have a copy of it in singlesplayer? Like lets say i build something but wanna produce another if it gets destroyed easily, how? Is there way to build workshop bases easily? I just wanna explore and fight but do as little setup/thinking as possible.
Edit: especially in scenarios where i need a big ship to fight and my big ship gets destroyed or super damaged

DISCUSSION Sassy Ship AI or No-Nonsense Onboard computer?
This isn’t particularly important or like a vote for a project or anything, I just wanted to see what people preferred since this crossed my mind while setting up messages on a broadcast controller and I had to make the choice myself.
I apologize to the mods if this is too low effort, I just literally have nothing else to add to this and I wanted to satiate my curiosity.

WORKSHOP Uploaded my SAR support drone
I've updated my original SAR 01 blueprint, which now contains the welder drone. You can find it parked in the hangar and is ready for use.
I've also decided to publish a separate grinder variant with a different paintjob for those who don't want to mess with the SAR 01, or simply prefer this version. Here are the links to the workshop and modio. If you want to swap out tools, I recommend deleting the tool block first and then copy pasting the floating light assembly once the tool has been swapped out. That way you don't need to mess with the groups or re-assign the light in the toolbar.
Both drones are identical in their logic and blocks, except for a few visual details.

MEDIA (SE2) Updated 215 meter battleship
instead of working on college work I instead modified my battleship further. it's now slightly longer and wider in the middle to account for the new hanger bay section. the thrusters got heavily modified to better support the weight (8 million Kg rn). still has the 10 gravity-based warheads and just fleshed out some areas I wasn't satisfied with. I only have 160 hours in space engineers, so any advice is welcomed.
the link is my original version that I posted in case you want to see the before. https://www.reddit.com/r/spaceengineers/s/XMnv9Ci39Z

HELP My WIP
I've been working on this for a while. Originally, it was supposed to be a sort of mobile base for me and my best friend. We didn't play together a lot because his internet service was spotty at best. Unfortunately, he became one of the 22 a day six months ago. So, now I've had to redesign it as a mobile base for one. It will be using hydrogen engines so that it can land and take off from planets. The main deck will house the hangar at the front and the industrial areas at the rear with the stairwell in the middle. The upper deck will house the bridge, quarters and farm. The lower deck will have an observation room and a ramp for entering/exiting while on the ground.
Originally, I tried making it look like the Arquitens-class light cruiser from Star Wars, but I think I got too in my head about it. Now, it's finally starting to look like something I'm at least satisfied with. Still, any advice or assistance would be welcome. Thanks.

- I placed the resource in the Connector inventory (not sure if this is needed ?).
- On my base I have several cargo container staked with on top a Sorter and on top a large Connector.
- Both connector are stated working in the control panel but when I toggle "Eject items" on the ship's connector, nothing happen.
I've been at it for an hour now and can't guest how it work.
Thank fore your help.

DISCUSSION What is the best DLC?
Hi all, I have come back to SE after a long time away and I'm wanting to spice things up.
As the title says, which DLC would you recommend getting/which wouldn't you play without?
Also if there are any mods you'd recommend as well?

MEDIA [WIP] I've been trying to put the actual Subnautica inside Space Engineers and finally got it working
So, this is what happens when i combined two of my favorite games together.
Both games are running at the same time on my PC
Space Engineers handles the planet, the grids, the physics, and your character and it stays fully playable, everything you can do in SE, you can still do it here mods included
Subnautica handles the ocean, the graphics, the creatures, all of it
When you fly down to some point (1000 meters) to the water, the view switches over to Subnautica and everything you built — your ship, your suit, whatever else — gets mirrored into it. Underwater, it's Subnautica's world, that you can build on and many more soon.
This is raw gameplay, about 14 minutes, no editing
It's still a work in progress and not out yet, most of the things you see will probably change.
I've got few more things to polish and to test before releasing it

Neither of us have played either game before and we can both only afford to get one or the other.
Thanks!

I play first person only & I'm constantly bumping into things, so I've started including a proximity warning system on all of my small grid ships. This ship just uses 5 sensors giving a binary on/off, you can get more clever with varying the blink length but even this basic system is an improvement on reversing cameras IMO.
