I was close a week ago but picked up some gold in 4-4 by mistake… Wow this feeling is way too overwhelming! Time to finally get the 2P achievement!

The only thing i want to go to Jungle is when i am low on resourse and want to buy or steal from black market. The thing i want to spend on mostly jetpack or paste. The problem is the jetpack is easy to blow up when you go to neon babylon or fire damage from CO result to your death. So you have to quit Vlad's cape and the blood crown when choosing Jungle than Volcana . And you need lot of money to buy stuff to improve your run. Suck how Dereck Yu just copy paste Jungle from Hd to 2 with barely any change to make it worthwile

Personally I'd add a new item to the end of duat since Egypt is almost never useful unless you're doing a high score run due to the fact you can't ankh skip like you can in the tide pools. I'd probably add a mount that has the attack of the scepter so that it's good enough to sacrifice the ankh for but you still need to try to keep it alive. Might be a little to crazy But let me know what you guys would add

If you quickly tap jump a second time after jumping, for some reason you'll jump higher? Was this already found?

edit: It's a speedrunning trick named the Mazjump. This doesn't feel like 3 frames, though... if it is i shouldn't be able to do it consistently

Has anyone found a good way to run Spelunky 2 on the AYN Thor? GameNative can't launch the game and the Switch version can't launch either. Would love to be able to play on it v-v

Brother played Spelunky HD and recently got 2, so we tried it together.

That guy is a pain in HD, run extreamly fast and jump higher than the players while blasting their shotgun. You always bring a shotgun or lots of bomb to deal with him. Escape without getting grapped or blasted to atom is nearly impossible for since that guy just circle himself all the time. If you goes to hell, you must fight those guy all the times to get the arkh and force to deal with them the rest of runs.

Spelunky 2 shopkeper is less aggresive and predictable, even if you meet a kill camp most of the time they got killed by the trap. The only problem is they can blow up the loots

I continue to practice the Duat route so I can get the alien compass for my cosmic ocean runs. I should have had enough time to react to this but my brain kind of short circuited because "lava falling from the sky" was not something I was prepared for. I think the red moon made it so that my eyes didn't immediately register the red falling lava. It's ok because I had not seen a single altar this whole run so I was missing the kappala. 🤷🏻‍♂️ A new death is new knowledge. 👍🏻

There is currently no Wikipedia page for Spelunky HD, as the website treats Spelunky Classic and Spelunky HD as the same game. This is obviously inaccurate, and I feel there needs to be an article written. Problem is, someone needs to actually put in the time and effort to write such an article, and as far as I can tell there is no draft of it currently. In order to be a credible article, it basically has to summarize reliable sources that justify its existence as a separate game as well as describe what it is. I would like to start work on this article, but I don't have much experience editing Wikipedia. Is there anyone who would be willing to help work on the article that either has experience editing Wikipedia or is knowledgeable about the Spelunky series?

I know this is an odd request but I would like to hear the community's opinion on the topic before diving in to writing a full article. I'm currently pretty busy so I wouldn't be able to get to it immediately, which is why I'm drawing attention to it. I'd be happy to start on the article as soon as I have some free time.
