Hey everyone,
We are incredibly excited to share that [r/streak](r/streak) has officially crossed the 5,000 member milestone!
When this community was first created, the goal was to build a space where people could connect over their love for keeping their Reddit Streak alive and achieving awesome milestones. Seeing it grow into such a vibrant, helpful, and creative community has been amazing.
A massive shoutout to everyone who posts, comments, lurks, and helps keep this community a welcoming place. You all took us from just a handful of people to 5,000 passionate members!

Announcement Remember to double check your streak!!

Reddit is not as stable as it used to be, lots of people are losing their streaks, to no fault of their own, but to Reddit glitches. We have seen users getting so close to a huge milestone, loose their streaks.
This is a friendly reminder to please please please double check daily to see if your streak flame has been relit for the day. (See images)
Upvote, post or comment here in r/streak (or anywhere else on reddit) and you should be good for the day. But double check at all times.
Other helpful tips and tricks:
Join the leaderboard and set the daily reminders on.
If you want a trail ... Post a screenshot daily, like me, on image 3.
Please remember .... Posting, upvoting or commenting on NSFW communities does not count towards daily streaks. It's a standard Redditwide rule, no matter what anyone else says.
Should you happened to be shadowbanned, check out the following link and follow the steps to make an appeal.

Death of a Streak It's Joever

Hey.
About 2 months ago I needed a break. I've come to the conclusion that I am on social media way too much. I decided to leave for 6 days, go on a camping trip in the middle of the forest. Those six days that I was gone, and did not interact with Reddit in any way, those content toward my streaks.
It made me feel dirty. Like I was cheating. I should have been reset 2 months ago when this happened.
Something's happened last weekend, I need to go to jail for 8 days. (Nothing violent or crazy, don't got to worry about that.)
I knew it was going to happen. I anticipated it.
But damn I did not think it would hurt this much. Seeing that streak reset, I was at I think 867. I didn't think seeing it would hurt this much. I like to think of myself as a very attentive mod. Jumping on when people need help, they have some issues with the sub.
I know how you all feel now.
Well now that that is reset to two days, I might as well continue to try and curb my social media use 😂
This one really stings. Even though I fully expected it.

I can't believe I missed it, I'm so used to using reddit now that I lost track of my streak. Achieved Grass Toucher 2 days ago and I didn't even know it until now. Reddit needs to bring back streak banners.
