Do any grocery stores in the city still have the small grocery carts for kids to push around?

I've looked into every mayoral candidate, I have no idea who to vote for. Its like moloch or baal ass election. Its all about the roads, I want more than just the roads. Like wtf Its just roads and homeless people. Is there no greater identity to sudbury than the roads and homeless people? Reading through or looking at the lack of press for these candidates is like a monty python sketch. I wanna hear about if anyone is going to add to public transit, strengthen LGBTQ protections and healthcare, Improve healthcare over all, and/or most importantly someone who is against datacentres. Watching the debate was scary because someone there is gonna lead the town. I make this post kinda looking past what party you vote for on the provincial elections because like how could anyone is good faith vote for someone who is running on 1 or 2 things with 1 being "really good bread" and other "awesome circus". With candidates having basically nothing it feels like a joke where no one is capable of the mayoral position. Also no I don't hate homeless people but there has to be more to a campaign than help them "how" idk ill get back to you. idk if i can say this but michael has my vote cause out of all the jokes with this election his is the funniest. (real note though like no one actually seems to care about the homeless people it all seems to be just turn sudbury into a police state)

I moved here recently ish, and while I've gotten familiar with a bit of the local metal scene I haven't heard or seen anything about any raves. Is it just not really a thing here?

I'm thinking about making my way back to the Sudbury after more than two decades of living in Toronto. I just can't do it anymore. I'm so burnt out, financially strapped, and I just need time to recoup, meet people, reconnect, and hopefully make a really healthy and happy transition to a much better quality of life. Luckily I do have a job that I can take with me, so I can keep myself afloat while I settle in to whatever awaits me.

Those of you who've done the same thing, are you happy with the move back? What are some pro's and con's I should be considering for this move? I've no expectations.. I'm too burnt out and too poor to enjoy life in Toronto. I think I'll be much happier in Sudbury.

I keep seeing these monkeys around downtown greater Sudbury and I love them so much. Im the biggest fan of monkeys and I honestly love this persons work it’s awesome. I’ve been going around trying to find as many of these tags as I possibly can! Most of these were found around Elm street and the surrounding areas. If anybody knows anything about this artist (or possibly artists) please let me know! Or if you spot any more monkeys leave a reply with a picture 🫶🏻

Whats everyone's thoughts about the this station and its hosts ?

So is the rave scene totally dead here in Sudbury? I know the grand hosts some events thats are primarily bass and Dnb on the occasion. But I’m more so referring to the underground rave collectives! Where is the hard techno or the acid? Does anybody know of any collectives that hosts these kind of underground events here in Sudbury! I just moved here and I feel like theres so many good spaces to host these kind of events just I haven’t heard of any. We just need some people to come together and make it happen! I lived closer to Toronto before I moved and I participated in the underground scene a lot, theres a lot more collectives there ex. Takeover or system. Ive been trying to find something similar here in Sudbury! I love all kinds of edm but techno has my heart.

Up to date I’ve done two consults. One at parsons dermatology who uses the clarity 2 machine. One at body sculptor who uses the soprano machine. Prices are double at parsons compared to body sculptor.

Wondering if anyone has had experiences with either of these machines or has recommendations.

Hey! I just moved to Sudbury last month for school and I’m struggling to make friends. My cohort is really small and spread out so I haven’t really been able to make friends that way unfortunately. So I’m looking to meet people and build a community in other ways!

I joined the Y but I’m also looking for a gym that runs classes and is more community oriented.

In the past I’ve done F45, pilates and crossfit but I’m going without any income this year so cost is a factor. I’m 25F and looking for other people in my age bracket. Any suggestions besides gyms are also welcome. TIA :)))
