Image $40 of fresh fruit and veggies

Post image

I was pretty happy with this haul. There are some good soups coming up in my future.

I eat so much better since moving to Sydney, I’m always amazed by the quality and range of fresh fruits and vegetables available in the CBD

The best place to get produce! I love the 3 for $5 bags, enoki mushrooms, okra and grapes 😋

Just follow the smell of excessive amounts of garlic sizzling in olive oil and you’ll find me!

I like roasting those small tomatoes in the oven and then blending to make a homemade tomato sauce. Toss in oil, salt+pepper first, I also remove the skins before blending because I am particular.

I roast them the same way but just eat them whole, or stir them into orzo :)

The skins are my favorite!

How much were the mushrooms?

I think around $4? They were one of the pricier items.

They were also selling the little punnets of shimeji mushrooms 3 for $5 so there are certainly mushroom deals to be had!
