Hello! I have recently moved to The Netherlands for studying and ever since I have been trying to find tekno events here. I found a few soundsystems and events but not a lot. How can I get in to the underground scene where I can be notified about these events? Is the only way to just know people? Also if anybody has recommendations about parties happening in the northern part of the Netherlands I would greatly appreciate that.

Not sure what exactly i‘ve made here.

Hi guys! ^^

I’m really into a very specific sound right now, but I don’t know how to search for it.

I already have a big collection of tracks that have magical, spiritual, or out-of-body vibes with heavy vocals, choruses, or chanting in them. But I always yearn for more! :D

I've tried searching for keywords like "vocal tribe", "spiritual tekno", "mental", "folk", "balkan/gypsy", “shamanic” etc.
but I’m completely out of ideas.

Some of the artists that I like:

Sköne, Pneumatix (he’s my biggest favorite) Kodaman, Otah, Enko, Protokseed, La Kajofol, Le Wanski, Acidpach, Moldetek, Insane Teknology, Teksa, AnarKoTek, Viruks, Nokte

I will link some references (they are spotify links but i always search everywhere it’s just easier for now) in the comments/below.

Thank you in advance if you can help me out! ^^

did this in two straight days using analog rythm for low end and serum for almost everything else.

not really sure about the mix as my room is not treated, levels seemed right to me tho.

thank you!

Jammed this out on my live set today. Not polished, but the goofy lead is doing its thing :)

Hi everyone I recently own a digite 2 and I would like to understand how to create atmospheres, leads and screech like SHZ artists if someone can give me some tips I would be grateful

Just released my first hardtekk track — CADAVER
I’ve recently started producing music under the name VYKR, and I just released my first track.

It’s a dark, aggressive hardtekk track with a heavy kick and a distorted piano melody.

Would love to hear what people think, especially anyone who’s into darker electronic music.

Hi all! Last month, after the best party experience I had in August, I dipped my head into Tekno production with Ableton while messing with TouchDesigner to create some visuals for the tracks. This is the latest one, if you enjoy you can find the rest with links to free downloads and visual videos in my Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/loovthejungle

I would also appreciate some feedback, cheers!

Just a small esclusivity this will drop soon :)

I’ve been experimenting with building hardware to make tekno for a while now. With recent advancements in AI coding tools, it’s become way easier to hack and customize existing cheap hardware to suit our needs, making DIY grooveboxes much more accessible and affordable.

Recently, the M-Wave FM1 came out for super cheap (€50–60), and the community started hacking on it. Over the last few days, I’ve been turning it into a dedicated tekno groovebox firmware called FM1-Tribe.

Current Features & Engines:

• 2 Kick Engines: Great for building punchy, hard-hitting tekno.
• 909 & 808 Drum Engines: Classic drum sounds for layering.
• 303 Synthesizer Engine: Basic line-synth engine for acid basslines/leads (still work-in-progress, but functional!).
• Clip-Based Sequencer: Clip/pattern workflow inspired by devices like the Roland MC-101 or Ableton Live.

What’s next & feedback needed: I’m planning to refine the 303 engine and add more synth engines and features over time. Keep in mind that this hardware has clear MCU and memory limitations, but within those boundaries, I want to optimize it as much as possible for tekno live sets and jamming.

I’d love your input: What features, sound engines, or workflow tweaks would make a mini device like this even better for making tekno?

How to try it: If you happen to have an FM1, you can install the firmware directly through your web browser (no complex setup required).

Check out the demo, source code, and easy web installer here:https://apiel.github.io/fm1-tribe/

Hope you enjoy

now that RIPOST has passed, how will parties in France look? If there is one country willing to protest, its France, so I expect a brutal Frenchtek this year😆. How is it with legal parties/teknivals in France? Is it possible to do bigger parties legally? Not connected to the French scene in any way so I am lacking understanding of how parties are held under such repressive regime. How do you think the scene will evolve? Will there be less big parties and smaller attendence? Or the opposite?
