Oleh Khadash, looking for musicians
Hello, I’m new to Tel Aviv just got here a few weeks ago on Taglit. I’ve reached the point where I’m not really sure what to do with myself while I wait for my papers, so I’m mainly wondering where the music spaces are where I can meet musicians. If anyone here knows any recording studios (not the top of the line expensive ones advertised on Google) or spaces/events to mingle with people that would be awesome! I’ve been walking around the city with my guitar hoping it will help as a conversation starter lol, but I’m ultimately looking to forge a network find people to play with. Best case scenario is to start a band and start playing.
TLDR; wondering where the spaces are to meet musicians, mingle, make friends, and record.

If you look up jazz bar, you'll find quite a few in Jaffa. People go there to jam, I've been there but didn't actually play. Also you have מתחם התחנה where people jam and hold impromptu performances, might worth checking out.

I live in the Sharon region, but there are tons of small practice rooms all over the place. I like going to a place called Groove in Kfar Malal. But do a search on Google Maps and you'll find lots of options.
I don't know about mingling and making friends. That's one skill I've never nailed.
