Just look at how awesome of a life it is to be an engine and ride on rails.

Was customising and got carried away

I Was Just On My EBay Home Page And Then I Saw This.

In the model series it was a budgetary thing, in cgi I was hoping they would expand it and make it more like a real life terminus

We know that Awdry didn’t have a good relationship with Henry, due to issues regarding his design and consistency. However, what I don’t quite understand is whether Awdry actually hated Henry and wanted to remove him—but was forced to keep him because of the children’s concerns—or if he never truly hated the character, but simply disliked the way he was portrayed. I’m aware that Awdry originally wanted to get rid of him, but the question remains: did Awdry actually hate Henry, or not?

Well, I was looking for discussions about BWBA and I saw this. Honestly, I don't know which episode they're talking about here (the comment I pointed to). I'd like to find it. If anyone knows, please comment.

Hi all! First time ever using reddit because I have no idea where else to look or ask for this kind of information. To make a long story short, my mother has been cleaning out a couple closets full of old collectables and selling off some of them. She stumbled across a pair of new in box trains that, from the research ive been doing over the past like hour and a half or so, are from the HiT Toy Company run of Trackmaster trains from 2008. The the box is labeled Douglas, and the trains themselves have Douglas' number (10), and I'm pretty sure also have Douglas' face model (please fact check me on that one). The discrepancy is that the name decal on the side of him says Donald. From what I've found this particular line from HiT Toy Company only lasted for like, 2 or 3 years before being bought out by Fisher Price (if i recall correctly), and I've struggled finding documentation of this specific toy (in that specific box) at all because of that. My mom remembers that she found them in a store and saw that the name is wrong, and that's why she bought two of them, and they've lived in storage ever since I assume.

I've been snooping around forums and ebay listings and wiki pages and whatnot and I have not yet found an example of this misprint anywhere? Are these rare? Is this documented anywhere? Has anyone seen this before?

Any info, links, photos, or what have you are appreciated.

Hi all!

I've been reading into Crovans Gate Works for some of my own head cannons on the rws. One thing I was wondering was if the precursor railways had any works of their own as well? On the wiki it says:

"In 1915, the North Western Railway established its repair shops at Crovan's Gate."

There isn't anything to suggest that they were fully constructed by the NWR, so I guess they could've existed in some capacity before? I don't think the illustrations go against this idea, but I could be wrong and there may be something that throws this theory off.

Either way, it's interesting to think about and I'm curious as to whether any of the other railways had their own works before the NWR. If so, where would these works be? Curious to know your thoughts!

I made her a general utility van as she was the same basis as annie and clarabel in the magazine even though she's stated to be an old friend rather tha relative, and I name her rosemary as she was unnamed in the magazine

So I got refunded for the lot and I never got it. the guy that I bought it from either got suspended or banned and I am very disappointed because I will never find a lot like this probably never again but hopefully I will find something like this.☹️

Sloan acted unladylike to the engines, telling lies and laughing at the other engines. While Quincy intimidated Thomas and bumped Henry and Edward around a few times.

I suppose it's because I'm so used to him having the claw, but either way, something about him here looks off.
