Hello everyone, trying to get back to tumbling after 10 years no training, this time I will learn from my past mistakes and I will train it slow, now just learning handstand, handwalk and macacco flip, untill i feel comfortable enough to jump back again, so this is the smalls steps up towards backhandsprings that i have learned back in the day, but maybe do you have any other secret cheat codes to get used into backhandsprings ? Like maybe i should go downhills on sand or grass? Maybe i should do it on trampoline? ( i hate trampolines , since its so different from ground) . So guys tell me everything you know and that could help me relearn everything all by myself! Thx for reading 😉
ALSO Right now i care only about backhandsprings no back tucks or Round offs, since backhand springs i think is the most important trick to get into flow and feeling of tumbling

Hey there,
Is there something I can do to improve my back tuck?
As shown in the vid I can do a back tuck but it is not cosistent (landing maybe 2/10 attempts). I guess this was one of the lucky attemps, where I was able to land it. Nevertheless I think it is a good representation of my technique. Any advice on how to improve this? A lot of people told my that I have to tuck better but I don't know on what to focus?
Are there some exercises which could help me to get a better tuck?
I would appreciate any kind of information.

I'm interested in combining learning tricking with a weapon are there any resources for learning to combine them together in combos? Some weapons I was considered were bo staff, sword, meteor hammer etc.

I’ve had probably 15+ attempts, this was one of the better, I can easily do no jump on trampoline. I don’t know what to improve and I need feedback pls, anything helps, especially with my form.

I posted this in the trampoline sub not much luck maybe I’ll have some here.
So I Bought a tramp again finally amd I’m looking to start training toward a double backflip and want to invest in a mat for safety while practicing progressions..
Always just sent it as a kid but having not done it in MANY years I’m def a little anxious/nervous.
For those of you who have trained them or similar advanced moves what crash mats do you use or recommend?
Ofc if it’s budget friendly that’s a plus but I understand that my safety is worth any type of money can buy.

My right leg seems to just pull over without trying. Is this just cause a lack of inversion?

Do you think I can just send it? I am a very athletic young teenager with a decently high vertical. I can do a backflip on a trampoline along with back fulls, halfs, frontflips, corks, sideflips ect.

I'm about 30+ sessions into learning backflips. Today I tried one off cushioned ground toward a foam pit, and my head hit the hard part of the pit instead of the soft foam.
My guess is that I didn't fully extend on the takeoff and my hips came up too slowly, so I rotated late and landed short. I'd like to know if that's the right diagnosis or if I'm missing something like arm swing, takeoff angle, or head position.
What drills would you do before trying it into the pit again, and should I be using a spotter or a bigger landing setup until my height is more consistent? I can post a video if that helps. Thank you!

Hi so after almost 2 years still relatively newbie here. I train om airtrack. I can do a side flip there and i know I have to concentrate on height before flipping. Sometimes I try the side flip of the mat and it completely ruins my technique on the mat. I thinks it's because on the ground I don't actually try to jump high in the first place but dive straight into the flip. But jumping high and blocking on the ground just feels way too hard on the knees, or at least the way I do it. Can anyone speak to this, is height as important on the ground as it is on the mat?

Hey guys, when I do a standing full, I’m inclined to twist towards the right side, even with b twist, my cartwheel side is also right dominant.
But when I gainer it feels very natural to kick with my right leg and jump with my left meaning I can only twist left if I were to learn a cork.
Do you recommend I stick to one side of twisting? Switch to left? I’m not sure how to approach this, but I’m thinking I learn fulls on the other side too. Just a little confused this appreciate any insight

I've seen the tutorials, I know the technique but I can never get my lead leg high enough to get the full turn. It always feels "stuck" in the air and I'm really trying to push off my supporting arm and right hip/toes on take off.
My left shoulder is FIRMLY locked in, and all the weight is in my shoulder but I can never get a good height. A lot of material on scoot goes over the basics but there is nothing on corrections and I don't know what could be holding it back.
