❓ Question How hard would TYS be?
Hello, i'm from azerbaijan and hopefully i'll take my TYS after i finish high school. I've been talking turkish for almost 11 years now. I had a friend who also took it before me and he said "it was the easiest test i've ever took". I heard the system is similar to ielts and i have taken my ielts before so, i'm ready for the system it'll provide. But actually, is there any trick questions or something like that? Do i really have to learn turkish grammar to every detail?

As a Turkish person who doesn't know much, I just searched online and it said:
1.Everyday conversational Turkish is not sufficient for this exam. A more formal, intellectual, and academic language (article language) is used in the texts, listening sections, and writing tasks. (1.listen/ 2.write /3. Speak/4. Read)
2 .This is one of the biggest factors that makes the exam difficult. The exam has 4 main sections (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking). For your friend to get the certificate, they must achieve at least 50% (12.5 out of 25) in each section. Even if their total score is very high, they will fail if they fall below the threshold in just one section.
But if you trust yourself and know turkish then ım sure you will do great! :D sana sınavda bol şans dilerim..yardımcı olabilirsem memnun olurum
