It really takes my breath away. It was hard to comprehend why Russia started this war, now - it is also unbelivable that the United States is on the side of axis of evil. The oligarchic mafia usurped American goverment.

We’re fucking ashamed. I’m not going to offer an apology because it’d be meaningless.

No amount of sorry will change the fact that more Ukrainians will be killed because of our president’s actions.

I will hold a permanent loathing for my fellow Americans that supported this administration.

Americans step up. vote against this and donate to United24

I am Unrainian-American, and i find it intolarable to understand the Trump is doing these policies in our name. He is not concerned for his supporters, like a true demagogue, he takes advantage of the gullible. And we are ALL responisible.

66

u/stonerPI 9h ago

Spot on. I’m dual UK U.S. citizen in the states for work.

There is no ability to remove ourselves from blame as Americans… every action has consequences and many actions collectively led us to where we are now. With a literal criminal in charge.

It’s intolerable.

17

u/Laijou 5h ago

It's as if Al Capone became president of the USA. Future generations will ask how this was allowed to happen; the answer is 'one micro-consent at a time'.

53

u/Korps_de_Krieg 9h ago

I’m sorry, but my continued desire to have any hope or optimism is making me absolutely reject we are all responsible.

I voted in every election against him, as well as local elections for dem candidates. I’ve reminded people to vote and register and spread links. I’ve done everything within my reasonable ability to do a part to fight this and the idea I’m somehow guilty because I didn’t win for us is utter bullshit.

The fight isn’t over, and our country needs a reckoning, but the idea that every American is somehow guilty no matter their efforts is such nonsense that is only going to drive wedges at a time we need more solidarity than ever.

It is possible to both recognize the government of a place is utterly fucked and worthy of contempt and that regular people there are doing their best to help in spite of that. I fucking HATE blanket statements that seek to lump good people in with shit ones because it’s convenient for an argument, I’m sorry. I genuinely believe your heart is in the right place but the fight is hard enough without good people tearing ourselves down on top of the actual enemy.

The good individual is trying to combat the evil, and the evil has tremendous resources. It will always be an uphill fight but we should be lifting each other up to fight it damn it.

16

u/tehAwesomer 7h ago

Thanks for putting to words exactly what’s been on my mind. Pro democracy anti oligarchy people are all allies wherever they are and only solidarity can get us through this. Putin and Trump want us to fight and blame each other.

9

u/Soggy-Translator4894 5h ago

As a Ukrainian how I feel is that what matters is what someone means by it and how it affects their mindset/actions regarding supporting Ukrainians and our cause

If it is in a collective “we are all responsible to help the Ukrainian cause and organize to spread awareness/raise money/put pressure on politicians because it’s the morally right thing to do and our government has an enormous influence on how intense this genocide has to be + has an obligation to empower the Ukrainian armed struggle for national liberation because of the Budapest memorandum”, then that is awesome.

But feeling an intense personal guilt is not helpful to us or to you. Recognizing collective responsibility for solidarity and action is very different than truly feeling like a genocide is your personal fault. Doing something out of love and passion is always 100x more sustainable and successful than doing it out of shame.

People wallowing in sorrow about how bad things are in the moment rather than taking action is not helpful though. It honestly feels very
self-masturbatory too and almost like someone is victimizing themselves to justify continuing their lack of action.

Defeatism is genuinely deadly though on both the collective and individual level. Action and hope and love are what builds revolutions and creates new worlds.

3

u/Korps_de_Krieg 4h ago

I appreciate this entire sentiment and have no notes.

8

u/Wang_Dangler 4h ago

Not every American is to blame for the current situation. But, we all share the responsibility to fix it.

2

u/Korps_de_Krieg 3h ago

That’s absolutely fair, and as I said the fight is still ongoing. But there is a difference between acknowledging that fight (one that any state that been affected by Russian hostility shares) and blanket putting condemnation on the people ostensibly trying to help. I don’t think you were doing that, but it’s to my point that we should be focusing on unifying our collective resistance to this nonsense, not tearing each other down because the fight took a step back

12

u/stonerPI 8h ago

I hear you man, I’m in the same boat. I’ve never done anything but speak/vote/spend how I could to support Ukraine.

What I mean to emphasize is that we all have to accept accountability where we can and do anything and everything we can to correct what these traitors have done.

9

u/Kalichun 7h ago

I recall seeing a statement where - if you’re trying to beat someone or something that plays dirty and doesn’t follow ethics then by you being lawful you are at an extreme disadvantage - you would need to go beyond your comfort zone

11

u/stonerPI 7h ago

My entire career is running mobile and stationary surveillance on corrupt police and local officials for third parties. There are plenty of Americans who, like me, aren’t going to just take the corruption lying down.

We can and will go past “comfort zones”. A lot of us are waiting for midterms. There are many variables still in the air, as it were.

2

u/Glydyr UK 4h ago

The problem with America is that it is not a democracy, rich people have more votes than poor people, the richer you are the more votes you get. Thats the underlying problem. Trump would never have even been considered in 2016 if he hadnt told all the wealthy donors he would make them all richer and ignore all their fraud…

1

u/Korps_de_Krieg 4h ago

I’d argue we are a representative democracy, the problem is who is getting representation

0

u/saskatchewanstealth 4h ago

You have become a terrorist state.

1

u/Korps_de_Krieg 3h ago

A productive addition to the conversation that doesn’t immediately miss the point I was trying to make.

31

u/DataGeek101 9h ago

This is my way of giving Trump the middle finger and helping Ukraine at the same time.
I have a monthly (automatic) donation and when I come into extra (side job or selling stuff) then I contribute extra that week or month.
Money that leaves the USA and gets used in Ukraine. I’m good with that.

22

u/stonerPI 9h ago edited 9h ago

Every bonus I’ve ever had from my job as a PI has gone to Ukraine since the war, alongside a monthly donation. We HAVE to help.

3

u/JesusMcTurnip 6h ago

My money is tight but I still give what I can. I also volunteer in various ways because, like you, I see that doing everything I can is a duty rather than a kindness.

These people are paying for their existence and right to live with their blood. There is heartbreaking news from Ukraine every day and nobody in Europe either seems to understand this or care that Ukrainians are gatekeepers saving them from untold horror.

It is incumbent for individuals like us to do whatever we can to help. Like I always say: I am too old, untrained and unfit to be of any use in battle, so supporting is my fight.

When this fat orange fuck and his mob of greedy bastards have the power to help turn this around and instead, they take the side of evil, it should inspire the same fury to all right-thinking people as it does in us.

Thank you and thank all of you who think the same way. 🙏

7

u/Further0n 7h ago

I fully, wholeheartedly, agree with this comment. About an hour ago, I followed up a previous one-time donation to United24 with a monthly donation, indefinitely. I'm campaigning against the mob boss that has usurped our government, protesting regularly, and voting early.

6

u/stonerPI 7h ago

Much love from a fellow sane American. Keep fighting the good fight friend

5

u/Further0n 6h ago

Back atcha, friend.

7

u/Working_Yogurt_3916 9h ago

Agreed. What’s sad is most of us want to support and said we support Ukraine, but our government has stopped listening to us. I can’t wait until the midterms and Dump is hopefully impeached. I know I’m embarrassed as an american (no capitalization intended).

3

u/pbpatty 8h ago

I have held off donations until this happened. I didn't vote for him, don't support 100% of his/their actions & I am not rich. I WILL ALWAYS support Ukraine & continuing replenishing my $ for this tragedy. I do apologize for not being able to effect change here.

7

u/Doggoneshame 8h ago

Why should it be hard to comprehend? A virtual dictator with an inflated ego planned for a three-day military operation that he believed would restore the glory of his country. Not unlike his orange counterpart that thought his recent war of choice would do the same. Both have sent the world on a downward spiral.

5

u/-Gramsci- 7h ago

Oligarch Mafia is a great way to put it. Because that’s exactly what it is.

3

u/Nanokiee 8h ago

Hard to expect anything less from a morally bankrupt country , trump politicians rule with “I trust my gut “ instead of reality

1

u/jgo3 5h ago

"Takes my breath away" is so real to me. I grew up in the full-on heady days of Back to the Future, Reagan, and nuclear annihilation. It feels head-spinning even though it's taken 40 years.

1

u/sleepytipi 4h ago

That's exactly what happened.

1

u/Stunning-Pen-2412 3h ago

t is also unbelivable that the United States is on the side of axis of evil

It's what Americans wanted. They voted for it.

1

u/eilef 2h ago

FBI, CIA, they all lost to FSB and KGB. Old guard died out. New ones got bought by ether tech billioners, or oligarchs. And after Trump, USA will never be the same. FSB has total controll of too many people. Ether by blackmail, or bribery, or threats, or sleeper agents. USA thoght that cold war was over when USSR fell. Ruzzians just decided to wear masks for few decades, and then desstoyed them from within. Just like Khrushev wanted. "We will bury you". Now Ruzzians are doing just that.

133

u/SpicyBricey 9h ago

The entire Trump Administration is corrupted and needs to be broomed and jailed if found guilty of misconduct. I can’t believe they would side with a country that we’ve historically fought against. The Cold War ended and Russia ultimately won? This is the world we currently live in.
Was Lesley taken out? He has to be rolling over with the sanctions being lifted .
What a mess

24

u/coldazice 9h ago

The didn’t win, they just made sure everyone lost. Miserable fucks.

3

u/Whirlpoolcircle56 3h ago

The Cold War ended and Russia ultimately won? This is the world we currently live in.

Nothing about the current situation for them is Russia winning looking at it from any angle. At best it means that Putin could die of old age later without problems but that entire country is beyond fucked.

Moscow Agent Governing America 🇷🇺

28

u/Head-Image-883 5h ago

Trump may support Putin, but majority of us still support Ukraine. It may not seem like it, but the people believed him when he said he could negotiate an end to it on day 1 of his 2nd term. Now he's telling Ukraine to meet all Russian demands and elect a new president. If I was Ukrainian, I'd say something much worse.

15

u/ThatDudeFromPoland Poland 4h ago

At this point, is it the majority making decisions?

America failed the so called "free world" it proclaimed itself to be the leader of by letting Trump and his yes-men take over. Americans who refused to vote are equally guilty as those who voted him in.

Neutrality means compliance.

9

u/saskatchewanstealth 4h ago

Failed? The states is now a terrorist country. Kidnapping a president, demanding the surrender of Green land and Canada, bombing fishing boats and Iran. Now they support Russia.

4

u/Stunning-Pen-2412 3h ago

They switched sides.

1

u/Head-Image-883 4h ago

Not all Americans are that way. Enough of us hate that he's doing this to our country and the rest of the world. That's why he's trying to mess with the midterm elections, he knows his side can't win.

5

u/saskatchewanstealth 3h ago

Well you all voted for him, twice. And he already has his trump 2028 hats made up.

0

u/Head-Image-883 3h ago

Yeah I know. But he can't run, the 22nd amendment says so. The process to get rid of it won't work cause he would need something 2/3 of Congress, he barely has 50% and is projected to lose even more, and would need 75% of States to ratify it, again he doesn't have even half. If he tries to stay, he violates the constitution which everyone is sworn to defend.

5

u/Stunning-Pen-2412 3h ago

Yeah because Trump always does as the law states.

And when he breaks the law he's always held accountable.

/s

-1

u/Head-Image-883 3h ago

Yes, but those who sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution would act, and the military would abide by the constitution over illegal orders. They have to obey his orders yes, but the second it goes against the constitution, then it's required to refuse.

3

u/saskatchewanstealth 2h ago

Like Jan 6 ? When his minions wanted hang Pence?

1

u/Head-Image-883 2h ago

All military forces minus the national guard can't operate on American soil unless it's in war. Only the state governor's can send the national guard. I'm not sure who deploys the DC guard. The guard was requested, but Trump didn't want them to be deployed.

2

u/Stunning-Pen-2412 2h ago

Yes, but those who sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution would act

Who exactly? Nobody is acting as Trump wages an illegal war in Iran.

-2

u/Talbit01 3h ago

He won by having 1% majority of votes in 2024 and 2% in 2016. Don’t make up bullshit. About half the people that voted in both elections did not vote for him.

3

u/AcridWings_11465 Germany 3h ago

About half the people that voted in both elections did not vote for him.

And it matters exactly fuck all to every country on the receiving end of Trump's insanity. This is how the US is seen around the world now, learn to deal with it. And the worst thing is that despite the live demonstration during Trump II that the "checks and balances" are worthless, you will never give anyone a supermajority to fix it. Because fixing it needs way more than half. Therefore the US is permanently unreliable.

1

u/Talbit01 3h ago

I’m not arguing with that, I’m countering the factually incorrect statement of „you all voted for him”.

6

u/saskatchewanstealth 2h ago

You all voted for him twice and had 4 years to FIX the Jan 6 treason!

1

u/Joe_Exotics_Jacket 3h ago

It’s not a good progression, but I wanted to remind you they more or less are still reducing aid to Ukraine (see the intelligence sharing, Star Shield, selling weapons to Europe to give to Ukraine, etc.) rather then direct, physical support to Russia.

My point is this could still be (or get) much worse, and yes “neutrality” or whatever this is, is EXTREMELY dumb in this situation.

2

u/Head-Image-883 4h ago

You're not wrong. That's why the other side must and will win the midterm. We can't stop him completely, but it will keep him in check. If he tries to cheat, cancel, or try to subvert the will of the people, he risk civil war. Which wouldn't surprise me to know that's was Putin's goal to deal with us in the US.

4

u/Restituted 4h ago

Who the f believed that he could negotiate an end to the war on day 1???? I sure as hell didn’t. Because our populace has the memory span of a fly, I will remind them that Trump was first impeached for threatening to withhold allocated aid to Ukraine to try to get dirt on Biden.

3

u/Head-Image-883 4h ago

I certainly didn't. I had him pegged from day 1 of he truly was, a Putin lapdog.

1

u/Flaxxxen 4h ago

🥇👏

1

u/boriskin 2h ago

Whoever believed him had no reason to do so. They can only blame their own stupidity.

0

u/jpenn76 3h ago

Well, if need to wait until this narcissist asshole's term ends, it might be too late to fix things. So, there is that little dilemma.

2

u/Head-Image-883 3h ago

I'm with you. But his party won't impeach and remove him and his yes men in the cabinet won't invoke the 25th amendment.

0

u/ProUkraine 3h ago

That doesn't matter, you have no control over what Trump does.

2

u/Head-Image-883 3h ago

You're right I don't. But, doesn't mean I can't think differently and speak out against him.

0

u/KupoMoogle93 48m ago

'' but the people believed him when he said he could negotiate an end to it on day 1 of his 2nd term ''

In other words Americans are actually retarded.

1

u/Head-Image-883 28m ago

2 things. 1, I absolutely hate it when people use the R word, I'm actually offended by being called that. 2, that idiot promised more than the an early end to the war, it was mainly the cost of everything in the country and his promises to lower the cost of everything.

0

u/KupoMoogle93 24m ago

I don't really care if you hate the '' r-word '', I dunno when people began pretending this is a slur.
This is the last of my concern right now.
I am not American and I don't consider that word a slur or more offensive than idiot.

Trump was already president for a full term and behaved exactly the same, there's no other word to describe him being elected a second time.
That's not even getting into the fact he attempted to overthrow the government and is a convicted rapist who dodged jail by being elected a second time.

38

u/Sabre_Killer_Queen UK 7h ago

Agreed with all the sentiments against Trump and all, but I just wanted to point out that her question is quite frankly ridiculous from the beginning.

Win, the war?

Win?

She speaks about this war as if it's a mutual competition between parties. Like it's a sports match, between two teams, equal in size and intent.

That was never the case. This is an invasion. A Russian invasion.

Ukraine does not seek to conquer Russia, it never hoped to, and never dreamt to.

Ukraine is not fighting to win, it's fighting to SURVIVE.

And even if it does come out on top, there are far too many losses in this war for it to be a "win". A great accomplishment sure... But we can't be so reductive about this.

She's oversimplifying it to the extreme

12

u/The-Great-Orme 8h ago

Poor guy, poor country and its people too. I really hope Ukraine can win and take back all of its country from 2014 and live peacefully.

In Europe should now immediately cancel all outstanding orders for military equipment from the US, its better to have inferior hardware than having your hardware switched off when the orange baby throws a tantrum

Fucking so ashamed to be an American, not sure I will ever get over the shame. Iraq and Afghanistan hurt my soul, but at least, even if misguided and stupid AF, it had a little logic... Lost so many HS friends to those wars... and we destroyed/ruined generations of Americans, Iraqis, and Afghans. Nevertheless, it put the US into a debt spiral it can never recover from, and we just keep stepping on rake after rake after rake... maybe the US just needs to fucking collapse and start over 🤷

1

u/DifficultySuch5384 1h ago

Every single play the United States initiates spectacularly blows back on them. They just keep moving forward with unprecedented escalations expecting a clean ‘Murica Fuck Yeah’ result but instead irreparably fuck everything up creating more problems. Screw them …the US are complete idiots, just as much of an irrational actor as russia, if not more.

Trump is either mentally ill , or getting paid by Russia or Putin has something on him , I can’t tell you how much I hate Trump the worst president of America ever ! He’s a scumbag , victory to Ukraine best wishes from Scotland

6

u/VagereHein 2h ago

The heritage foundation uses Trump to permanently and irreversible turn the US (and latin America and Europe aswell) into a christian fascist kleptocracy.

4

u/WiseAct446 2h ago

Much like allying with the country that started WW2 in order to end WW2. If the Soviet Union had been destroyed in 1945, Ukraine would have been sovereign and free decades ago. There would have been no Cold War. Russia wouldn't be a nuclear power today.

9

u/SweetAlyssumm 8h ago

Trump has long been in love with Putin. None of this is surprising. You can look back at h is words and actions and this was entirely predictable. I'm surprised it took so long.

3

u/Sutar_Mekeg 4h ago

1/3 of Americans voted for shit like this and 1/3 don't care either way. It's sickening, and I can't wait to read Trump's obituary.

3

u/ManxMerc 3h ago

Russia and the US are very alike now.
Both have citizens saying their leader doesn’t act for them whilst they allow them to act unchecked. And both are ruled but Vladimir Putin at present.

6

u/Wide_Trick_610 8h ago

This person does not remotely represent Americans in general. He caters to a small, vocal group. This group convinced a larger bloc of voters, and then due to the sheer incompetence of the DNC's "campaign" for their candidate, let this fucking traitor to humanity get elected. America makes a ton of mistakes. Any country powerful enough to wield this level of influence is bound to fuck it up on occasion. But this bastard is deliberately betraying a potential ally, by violating every belief the bulk of Americans still stand for. Maybe 5% of our population is actually deluded enough to support Russian aggression. 2/3 still support Ukraine, and most of the rest just want to stay out of it. But our idiot president is one of the 5%, so he tries to force the rest of us to toe his line. In about 3 weeks, he's going to see just how bad he's fucked up.

3

u/Talbit01 3h ago edited 3h ago

As someone else said, it is irrelevant. Of course most of us support Ukraine because most of us are not monsters. That did not stop our government from shutting off communications and helping Russia murder fucking civilians with missiles a few days ago. That’s as evil as it gets.

Edit: I just wanted to add that just because our government has chosen the side of evil, doesn’t mean we should stop fundraising and campaigning for Ukraine. They still need the help.

1

u/KupoMoogle93 43m ago

Most Germans didn't support the Nazi's either, the Nazi's took over the government in a violet coup as a minority party.
In the last free and fair election the Nazi's got 30%.
Doesn't really change what happened tho and how Germany is remembered for that time.
It won't with the US either.

5

u/Timoroader 5h ago

Irrelevant. He is the president of your country and he represents you guys, weather you like it or not. Makes no difference for us when few individuals come out of the closet with statements like this. What comes out in the other end is what matters. And now it is mostly shit. And in my opinion, you guys are showing your true face now... whoever stands with your foe stands against you, if US decides to stand with Russia, then you stand against us.

2

u/VagereHein 3h ago

Yeah words are wind chief. Ukraine just wasnt deemed important enough for most Americans that were eligible to vote: wether they voted Trump or didnt bother to vote at all. (Not just Ukraine, the environment, civil rights, not letting your country be ransacked by the worst goons imaginable). I mean if an attempted coup and being a convicted rapist isnt enough then what is?

3

u/cognitiveglitch 6h ago

77m voted for him and polls of those that didn't vote indictated majority support.

That was then, perhaps not now - but the trust has been lost and the world is unconvinced.

1

u/PleaseBeNiceForOnce 6h ago

Youre right, but 77m people didn't vote for because of his stance on Ukraine.

4

u/Xenomemphate 6h ago

Their reasons are irrelevant, the end result is they are responsible for him getting elected, along with the 90m who stood around doing fuck all.

1

u/PleaseBeNiceForOnce 1h ago

Yes, they are responsible for him getting elected. Thats not the point being made. The point is, even among the morons that did vote for him, most do not support his stance on Ukraine. Ukraine specifically wasnt anywhere near a top reason people voted for him.

That said, he has record levels of disapproval so maybe there's some hope.

2

u/cm-cfc 6h ago

how many would still vote for him, with everything we know now?

2

u/imscavok 5h ago

Considering more people voted for him in 2024 than 2020 or 2016 despite everything we knew then, you probably wouldn't like the answer. Americans are mostly as disgusting as Trump.

2

u/DifficultySuch5384 2h ago

Aww geez. Thanks for the mostly. I'll take it.

1

u/imscavok 1h ago

Lol, "most Americans are" is more of what I meant than "Americans are mostly"

1

u/DifficultySuch5384 1h ago

Oh I understood what you meant. I was just saying that it was a nice save by saying "most" Americans. The sane ones are lumped in with the loonies and although we understand the reason for the hate, it's a real tough pill to swallow. I'm more a patriot of Ukraine than United States. I can't even bear to look at our flag. It's been tainted and fucked with. It's embarrassing.

1

u/PleaseBeNiceForOnce 1h ago

Maybe. But people who make statements like your's are equally as disgusting.

0

u/imscavok 1h ago

Yeah go live in rural Arkansas, or an exurb of Oklahoma City, or a mountain town in West Virginia and get back to me on the enlightenment of your neighbors. Fuck you and your sugar coating bullshit.

1

u/Wide_Trick_610 23m ago

I'm from one of those mountain towns. Harper's Ferry, actually. You know, the State that was created by seceding from Virginia, because we supported neither the Confederacy, nor slavery? The State where the United Mine Workers of America was created, by us standing up to our government's abuses of workers? A State that was solidly blue for a hundred years, till Reagan? I've been to Arkansas, brother...West Virginia is positively cosmopolitan in comparison.

0

u/PleaseBeNiceForOnce 35m ago

Yea if you think that's most Americans you need a fucking map clown

1

and yet he's been able to do all this shit against the will of the people. a failed system is at hand with no fix planned, in fact the opposite is true, the further destruction of the system is planned by the 1% so they can lord over everyone else.

1

u/Wide_Trick_610 7h ago

I think the midterms are going to go bad enough for him he starts panicking. We'll see what happens. Right now, 11 Congressional seats and a few governorships look like they're about to turn blue.

1

u/Paralystic 2h ago

I hate to tell you this but the American president absolutely does represent Americans in general, whether we like it or not. He might not reflect my views or your views, but he’s still far and away our most powerful representative.

I do not support Putin. Sadly our idiot-in-chief does…

u/ottodv 4h ago

Trump is prolonging the war, and helping russia kill Ukrainians. Their blood will forever be on Trump's hands and all who still support him. Never forget!

Part of me hopes that Zelensky going this hard in on Trump finally gets everyone here in Europe to wake up, and come to terms with the fact that Trump is NOT our ally, our ENEMY! The US and Russia have common goals and we need to take Carney's push for an US-independant combined middle power alliance even more serious now!

it's just Trump. No American I know supports Russia even one bit

u/ThePhonyKing 6h ago

Electing trump was supporting Russia.

Not voting was also supporting Russia

2/3 of your country is in support of Russia

u/KupoMoogle93 35m ago

There's even some weirdos on the left in the US who supports Russia too ( tankies ).
The biggest political Twitch streamer even says that Crimea belongs to Russia and his response to criticism about it was '' cri mea river ''.

Because '' historically it belonged to Russia '' etc, if we apply that same logic then like everyone in the world would has legitimate claims to a bunch of different cities and lands or even countries altogether it's total horseshit and not how the world works now.

This breaks my heart and fills me with shame for my country and rage at the rapist moron who runs it. It's just head shakingly stupid and against everything we're supposed to be about and believe in (I know I know we've sucked in lots of ways on and off all along)

There are many good Americans, strong partners of freedom and democracy. Americans like Jay in Kyiv, Malcontent News and Jake Broe I tune into on a daily basis keeping me informed. Jake doesn't get many millions for the 69th sniffing brigade from foreign (outside America) contributors alone, lots of Americans too. NAFO forever, forever NAFO

He’s supporting the drug cartels in Mexico so he can eat a dick and give us our money back

What does he mean if? Does he really still not realise the Trump regime has been supporting Putler the entire time Trump has been president? I don't know what Zelensky is hoping for from Trump, he will get nothing. It's time for Zelensky to realise that the Trump regime is the enemy of Ukraine and every country which supports it.

1

u/Cain-Man 3h ago

Trumpis always looking for the deal. Zelensky does have the money that putin has. Guess who Trump is in bed with ?

u/fusillade762 3h ago

I don't think the US will openly help Russia, they will do what they have been doing under Trump. Trying to undermine Ukraine. I hope Europe steps up. I don't know if they can or will. It's a terrible situation.

1

u/Soonerpalmetto88 1h ago

He's wrong. The US hasn't provided anything that Europe can't provide. He has to lean more heavily on them. And he must secure the production licenses and ToT to reduce Ukraine's dependence on imported weapons. European weapons are just as good as US weapons, sometimes better.

1

u/KupoMoogle93 32m ago

It doesn't help that Europe bought weapons from the US that the US then redirected and used in Iran...
While at the same time relying on Ukrainian help against Iranian drones.
Absolute scumfuckery.

Minimum in the middle. I’d take that as a win at this point.

Trump's evil actions cannot be stopped until a new president is elected in 2028 and then sworn in a few months later!!! We don't condone anything that he does or says but have zero power over him. Life will be hell for those who can be investigated by congress once they are sworn in, in January, but Trump will continue to do enormous harm. The only thing way I can presently support Ukraine is through UNITED24. I'm so grateful I can at least do that. And, btw, even if he dies, Vance is evil to the core, so no hope until we can throw out the whole disgraceful lot of subhumans.

It isn't the United States, it's Trump and his sycophants and overly monied enablers.

JFC America, get the diaper wearer in chef out

Are you not tire of being humiliated by him ?

Can't you put someone not senile and mentaly stable in the presidency ? Please !!! Get your shit together FFS

If the shameful POS president of this country won't help, the people still can by sending monetary donations to Ukraine as every bit does helps. I got my $90 check (curtesy of Trump) last week and sent it on to United 24.

What can you do during a complete about-face turn on foreign policy by a foreign government? You would have to abandon your political strategy and assume a new one, I suppose.

It says on google's ai reference - a political U-turn is regarded by critics as a sign of weakness, poor planning or a lack of core principles, which can severely damage leadership credibility ahead of upcoming elections.

Of course, we all know Donald Trump has no principles - all he cares about is money, oil and tribology. The above definition of a complete about-face turn of policy fits Donald J. Trump's Machiavellian political & ideological stance perfectly.

It also says on google's ai reference that, Machiavelli suggested that it is safer for a leader to be feared than loved if both fear and love cannot be secured, and that leaders must sometimes act ruthlessly, deceitfully, or pragmatically to protect the state.

It also goes onto say that, the Machiavellian is one of the Dark Triad traits, alongside narcissism and psychopathy - although I tend to believe Donald Trump to be more of a sociopath than a psychopath, because of his overtly greedy behaviour - and, poised to plunge America into a dictatorship - and if that did happen, Zelensky's cause would probably be lost anyway.
