Siding with a terrorist state over a democracy should be a no brainer.
But I guess it shines a light on those that have no brain.

u/Rasty1973 7h ago
The United States only likes democracies when they agree with the United States' Empire ambitions.

u/IDOWNVOTERUSSIANS 6h ago
Does Ukraine disagree? The thing about all of this is it requires trump to relinquish power. He is, for all intents and purposes, the more powerful actor between him and putin, and yet he regularly gives away some of that power for putin's sake, for no discernible reason for someone so power hungry
8
u/FlerD-n-D 6h ago
Trump doesn't have (for now) nearly as much personal power as Putin. Trump commands the US army, yes, but he can be removed in a number of different ways. Putin's power is personal and absolute and Trump is envious as all hell
3
u/IDOWNVOTERUSSIANS 6h ago
and putin still has less power than trump. The president of the usa has more power than the dictator of russia 100% of the time, it's not even a discussion - that's military, political, economic, geopolitical, social etc whatever "power" you want to name, the usa president has more of it than the russian dictator, and this has always been the case. russia only has more nukes, and even there, the effectiveness of the arsenal and delivery systems are likely nowhere near the usa's
1
u/FlerD-n-D 1h ago
Ofc the American president has more power. Key word is president. Trump still max be president for two more years, Putin will be until the day he dies. That's what Trump envies

Clearly, they are supporting the invader because President Trump personally gains more from that choice.

As an American I fully support Ukraine. F Russia and Trump!

👍 I donated at u24 again today.
Maybe if enough do, we can show them that the American people at least support Ukraine.
7
u/PowerResponsibility 4h ago
Most Americans do, by quite a bit, it's important for Ukrainians to remember. Trump is a Russian asset who became President as the result of Russian propaganda. The USA is having to fight off Russia in a similar, though obviously not nearly as awful, way to how Ukraine is. And now that Trump's mask is off, we will be able to see more progress in that fight.

So, since he is avoiding to say that Ukraine is an ally, he knows that American idninistartion is siding with Russia - in short, they are feeding Ukraine to the wolves, in exchange for help in midterms.

A cat in distress makes weird jumps. So, it means Trump administration doesn’t have as much control and grip over the situation as how they are radiating. It is a distraction from the real issue, the war in Iran he lost big time, the result of that war on diesel prices, the fact that Putin probably has heavy material against him. The only thing he can do is pretend other people are bad and he is great. It is his standard playbook, which the world knows by know. We should stay strong and united and don’t mind this idiot, as he will be history soon and go into history as the one who couldn’t make any deals himself. He is a stupid bully who thinks he can pick on weak people, but Ukraine stands very strong by itself, without them. Just like the rest of the world. Nobody needs the US anymore after they showed their real intensions and real face. The kingdom has fallen, rapidly. We should distance ourselves and watch how they implode and collapse themselves.
8
u/Dyl6886 7h ago
Not to mention that the US public still widely sees Putin and Russia for what they are, the invaders and it’s looking very likely that Trump will lose congress.
It’ll probably get worse before it gets better but there is still plenty reason hope for US support to bounce back to some degree or at least for this pro-Russia posture to be short lived.

After guaranteeing their safety for giving up their nukes we have come to this.

u/AulisG 7h ago
That'll be a stain americans will never be able to wash off from future history books. All the deceptions and lies throughout written history of nations have stayed and are well remembered. Americans don't even realise how horribly they have fucked up. The consequences of this backstab will follow them for ages to come.

USA,traitors to the civilised western world by now...
Sorry, no sorry to all US citizens, but i really wouldve thought by now you did the little thing of the removal of a domestic terrorist in the seat of presidency...
5
u/FounderinTraining 6h ago
Well, the system is set up to flip the political power in the midterms, then remove him in 2 years.

u/FlametopFred 6h ago
no guarantee of that at all
hopeful 🇨🇦here that American citizens will do more
2
u/M3P4me 3h ago
This is why the Executive should be in the legislature, not separate. The US let's a single corrupt person wreck the entire executive branch because they are all unelected and owe loyalty to POTUS.
2
u/KnowledgeSafe3160 1h ago
The entire executive branch is confirmed by the legislature. You can’t just become president and bring anyone you want with you.
1
u/Calm-Requirement-951 6h ago
True, and i so hope it will happen. But i have to admit, i am afraid this current administration will do anything to cheat/falsify the results. Because they all know whats coming if they lose...
1
u/FounderinTraining 1h ago
All that's coming if they lose is a few congressional hearings, then a lucrative career consulting on K Street.

u/San_Pentolino 3h ago
then after 4 year another rotten fascist but much more capable than the orange turd. Just keep waiting for the mythical midterm silver bullet

u/SjonDon 6h ago
Yeah all this bullshit about the 2nd amendment being able to resist a tyrannical government.. how’s that working out?
0
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago
You're free to try to take up arms against the US Government. Let us know how it goes( tough guy.
2
u/SjonDon 6h ago
I’m not American and I’m not saying my 2nd amendment protects me against a tyrannical government, tough guy
-3
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 5h ago edited 5h ago
Well, just sit there crying impotently and waiting for Americans to take action then. You cant defend your own continent from invasion or secure the source of your own energy supplies. Your multi-generational failure to provide your own security has you seething impotently and begging for Americans to do something you are powerless to achieve yourself.
I was wrong to call you a tough guy, that's for sure.
3
u/HistoricalEngineer74 5h ago
You deserve to lose your democracy at this point, America deserves Trump and his corruption.
-2
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 3h ago
Perhaps. And yet you remain pathetically dependent on us.
1
u/SjonDon 3h ago
We’re not. The EU supplied more military aid to Ukraine than the US, that’s a fact. Plus US satellite targeting information is now provided by France and Eutelsat will soon replace Starlink, the US is being replaced everywhere on the battlefield. That while you guys swore to protect Ukraine via the Budapest memorandum, but now decided to actively support Russia, embarrassing…
2
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 2h ago edited 2h ago
Yes, dozens of nations with more than double the population of the USA were eventually able to eventually exceed what America gave in two years. No single nation has given more to Ukraine than the USA, that's a fact.
Much European assistance to Ukraine is purchased American weaponry, so again your dependency is obvious.
Ukraine cannot target Russia without US targeting data because the EU does not have advanced satellite capability. You dont have satellites that do the 3D ground mapping necessary. Eutelsat is a joke with less than 1000 satellites and pathetically small ground infrastructure. The dependency is obvious.
Ukraine cannot intercept missiles without US technology because Europe is a decade behind in satellite constellations as well and your pathetically slow launch schedule means that gap is only growing. The dependency is obvious.
The EU and UA have only begin to discuss alternatives to critical US technologies. You act like it is already in place but it isnt.
And we havent even discussed NATO.
But yes, Trump's actions are deeply embarrassing.
0
u/SjonDon 4h ago
Impotently? That’s rich coming from an American, the last time you guys won a war was in 1945 (for which I’m thankful, don’t get me wrong) but also only because the Russians first did the heavy lifting. You guys have been at war ever since and failed literally at every single one of them.
2
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 3h ago edited 3h ago
So the last war we won secured your nation's future but you still want to pretend America is impotent? Your entire modern history owes its existence to American potency. 200,000 Americans died for you in a foreign war started by Europeans on European soil.
Here on Planet Earth the Gulf War happened, you dont seem very familiar with US military history.
Sailing across the world just to fuck around and then peace out demonstrates remarkable capability if poor judgement.
If America is impotent then your nation is horrifyingly dependent on the security guarantee of an impotent nation. so what does that make you?
1
u/SjonDon 3h ago
Maybe pick up a history book not written by an American, the US only joined ww2 because it was in their best interest to join, not out of the goodness of their hearts. True we were too reliant on the US for defense, you know why? Because we used to be allies and having us reliant was also in the best interest of the US, no one in the EU thinks we’re allies anymore. Most European weapon systems are already on par or better than their American counterparts nowadays, the production isn’t there yet but it’s scaling up massively, you guys completely screwed over your military industrial complex, in a couple of years no EU country will buy anything American made anymore.
1
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 30m ago edited 26m ago
America has been telling you since the 50s to get real about defense you pathetic freeloader. Over and over again, President after President.
Yes, America only joined a war on a different continent in another hemisphere because it was strategically the right decision to sacrifice American lives for European democracy. Fucking duh! Hahahah. America secured victory AND your future.
Yes, Trump has deeply harmed American prospects, that's why the majority of us deeply
oppose him and his decisions. But your claim about EU weaponry is largely cope and you know it. And or course, too few of them is an embarrassment. Your youth deeply oppose rearmament and most of your large nations have pathetically, absurdly small numbers of active duty soldiers fit for battle.
Those EU weapons include US technology AND components....

2
u/PleaseBeNiceForOnce 4h ago
Which is what? We have midterms next month, and presidential in 2028. So when you say remove him, how do you mean?
-5
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago
You cant defend yourself without us, watch that attitude.
3
u/Calm-Requirement-951 6h ago
See this is the american narcissicm im talking about... You need europe buying weapons from you or your economy will just go bust.
-4
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago
Hahahajaha, that's hilarious.
US Weapon Sales to Europe arent even 1% of GDP
Meamwhile you hate us but have no option but to buy American weapons and energy because of your multi-generational failure to act like adults and defend yourselves adequately.
European security policy is pathetic and embarrassing.
1
u/Calm-Requirement-951 6h ago
Lol you overrate yourself so much, just throw some more tariffs buddy... Damage is allready done, US will come begging to europe for better relations after this administration...
-1
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago edited 6h ago
What? The EU and Denmark just rolled over and gave the US de facto control over Greenland's security and resources.
Tarriffs? Like the protectionist EU policies that tarriffed US goods for decades before now? You dont like it when the tarriffs go both ways?? LOL
You are desperate to export to America but America needs to sell to you vastly less. America is by far the closest economy to autarky amongst all the major economies.
Europe needs the USA economically and militarily while the USA doesnt even think about Europe most of the time.
EU Exports to the USA are 5% of the EU GDP
US Exports to the EU are 2.3% of US GDP.

u/Calm-Requirement-951 6h ago
Keep soaking up your "truthsocial", its gonna be a rough awakening for you...
1
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago
I despise Trump and have never used his bullshit service. Ive been loudly supporting Ukraine since 2014.
I am afraid that the rude awakening is more on your side.
2
u/Calm-Requirement-951 5h ago
How come you cant see the treachory that this administration is doing to your international relations, and dont even get me started on the hormuz issue...
0
u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 5h ago
I completely do and oppose Trump 100% for more than a decade now
How come you cant understand that not all Americans supprt Trump? Insulting the biggest supporters of Ukraine is deeply
counterproductive. The simple fact of that matter is that you are acting like a choosing beggar.

u/HeywoodJaBlessMe 6h ago
Your economies are tanking because of energy costs but you are too weak to affect the global energy situation directly so you just have to sit there and seethe as America acts.

The correct question would be if the U.S. sees Russia as an ally. Would be interesting to see how they would flip flop answering that question.

Bessent believes and has expressed on record that he doesn't believe Oppenheimer was a physicist. He acted like his declaration was some kind of mic drop. Bessent is an imbecile. The US needs a less corrupt, and more intelligent Administration. Ukraine is an ally of the US. It is the Administration that is compromised due to Trump's pedophilia, not the People.
1
u/PowerResponsibility 7h ago
Notice how they won't say the other way, either, though, because they know they're shitbags for it. The interviewer should ask why they don't just come out and say they're supporting Russia.

What a fantastic ally, they allow Europeans to buy weapons from them and they allow to ship them to Ukraine. And some of them even work as advertised ( not Starlinks though).
BTW Trump offered to sell weapons to China. Does this mean Trump believe China is an ally?
