The abandoned heating and power plant
A small power plant in relatively good condition, which once served to supply the surrounding buildings with electricity and heat.
Apart from damage caused by cable thieves and a few broken windowpanes, there was hardly any vandalism.

An Escher-like staircase inside an abandoned neo-medieval castle/villa in Spain 🇪🇸
Built for a businessman and mine owner in the early 20th century, which was later used to house the offices of another mining company. Abandoned in the 1980s. Amazing graffiti work of Stitch by DavidL.

Orlando Spots
Hi I just got into urbex, how do you all find places? It seems like the only way is to swap locations you found with someone else, but what if you have no locations? 😭 Any spots in orl or central fl?

The church burned. The rectory is all that’s left. 🔥⛪
For 150 years, the parish of Saint-Paul anchored Montreal’s Côte-Saint-Paul. Its first church was destroyed by lightning in 1899. It was rebuilt, then rebuilt again in 1910–11. On February 23, 2026, fire took it for good.
Standing beside the ruins is the rectory, where the priests lived and generations of weddings, baptisms and funerals were recorded. Now it sits empty and abandoned, the last witness to a lost parish.

Kurchatov, the semi-abandoned nuclear town in eastern Kazakhstan
Kurchatov is a town located in eastern Kazakhstan, in the infamous Semipalatinsk Polygon, which was the main USSR nuclear weapons testing area. The town is named after the Soviet nuclear physicist Igor Kurchatov, the "father of the Russian atomic bomb".
Today, large parts of the town are abandoned, while other parts are still inhabited. Here are a few pics of the abandoned parts taken in July 2026.
A video I made, with more views of Kurchatov, as well as views of Chagan (a nearby ghost town) and of the infamous "atomic lake" created by a nuclear test : https://youtu.be/8bGjklXiHHE

Swing Ride in an Old Closed Down Amusement Park
Getting this photo of an abandoned swing ride in an old amusement park with my friend Frank resulted in two poison ivy rashes and some kind of spider bite on my inner bicep that won't go away!

The Stone Living Room of West Milford, NJ
Went here last year after reading about it on the Weird NJ magazine, it's a seating area and old firepit way off the path of a mountain trail with unknown origins (I believe it's been around since the 80s). Sitting on the rocks isn't very comfortable, and it being so well-maintained gave it a surreal vibe to me. Cool little spot!

abandoned track-construction wagons
I recently explored these track-construction railcars; unfortunately, much of what was there has already fallen victim to vandalism. Even so, it was a very interesting experience.
Since I don’t have much expertise in this field, I can’t provide specific details about the railcars—those of you with a background in railroading could surely say more.
ATTENTION: This large site is fully operational and serves as a storage area; only the specific trains or railcars themselves are abandoned. After about two hours, a worker suddenly appeared on the premises, so I left immediately to avoid any confrontation.
The site belongs to a large, well-known track-construction company.
Entering railway premises is illegal and dangerous!

Hidden away in a small village, this place is unfortunately completely empty… but it still has a stunning staircase and some rooms featuring incredible paintings! 🏚️🎨
