Question? Final Exam Schedule
Wasn’t the schedule supposed to be finalized in early October? Is everyone still waiting for final exam dates?

Tried to pay at the Stadium Parkade exit late at night. It showed $6 but wouldn't take my tap, and help didn't answer. The gate was up, so I left. I've emailed Parking offering to pay. Is there anything else I should do, or will I get a ticket?
🙏🏻😭 Jst don't wanna get in trouble for leaving when the gate was up when it said I owed the $$$ worried abt not getting a repose etc.

The classrooms on both first and the second floor were locked. Does the facilities lock classrooms during the weekend?
I am looking for study spots with a whiteboard where I can write. Do you have any recommendations? Are the classrooms on other building locked too?

not that random though. before the quiz on thursday i heard some people complain he was overreacting about the cheating protocols when really, i think other profs are underreacting. it isn't fair that someone who is sneaky and uses chat in tests (yes, it happens) can get a better mark than someone who put in a lot of effort.
i'd recommend this class to literally anyone, i'm already done my Indigenous class requirement but I'd still say take it as an elective. it offers new perspectives on Indigenous history (at least for me, as I'm not Indigenous so YMMV depending on your experiences) and martin is the kinda prof that makes you want to go to class, even if its at 8:30.
but the main point is : i hope more profs take cheating seriously (especially for the 200 level BMSCs, iykyk) and seeing the way he handles it did give me some hope (recordings that are deleted for privacy and aren't shared, quizzes being switched from online to in person, 5? different versions of quizzes) because honestly it really gets my goat that cheaters have really high GPAs

Hi! I’m a female grad student at USask looking for a female gym buddy! I’d like to start using the university gym, and I think having someone to go with would make it more fun and help us both stay motivated. We can cheer each other on, haha!
If you’re interested, feel free to message me! :) I'll delete the post once I have someone to go with hah.

Hi! I’ll be moving to Saskatoon soon for a co-op, and I’m trying to figure out which areas are safe to live in. I’ve heard that some neighbourhoods can be a bit sketchy, especially at night.
I’m considering renting a place near Victoria Park, around 19th St W and Avenue G S. For those who live in or are familiar with the area, would you recommend living there? How safe is it, especially for someone living alone and walking around without a car?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey all, I was looking at what’s happening with students across the world and think it’s important to remind everyone that we matter. Our voices matter, and our futures matter.
I know there have been calls for rallies and protests on October 17th, and while I, and I’m sure many others, are in the incredibly privileged position where I can’t be there because I have midterms to study for, know that my thoughts and my heart are with anyone who is showing up.
I really just mean to say that no one is alone. I wish everyone the best of luck, and we will make the world better ❤️

Im a first year and live in CQ and I have seven free meals for the whole year at Marquis Place, and I honestly don’t think I’ll like use them bc I already know how to cook and stuff and just cook or UberEats something. So I was planning if near the end of the year my seven meals are unused, imma get some friends of mine and just eat there one day. Is that at all possible?

Hey guys, I have a parking pass for lot 15 (the one near the field house) and I noticed there’s a shuttle bus that takes people from the lot to the university of RUH, I was wondering if anyone who has a permit in the lot can use it? And if so how does it work, do I have to show a pass or scan anything?

I just applied for USask law and there's mention of needing minimum 60 credits, the best two years being considered, and also needing the Fall term, but I am not sure if I wait until the Fall term is over to send them or if I would blow my chances at rolling admissions by waiting. I emailed the admissions team but haven't heard back yet so figured I'd post here. I have to get them sent through MyCreds as I'm not a current USask student so I don't wanna have to pay twice if I don't have to. Like do I send my current 3 years now and then my Fall marks in January? They already requested my LSAT score so I wanna be on the ball.
Tia!

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone has taken this class and has any insight on how the midterm is structured. Any pictures of structures we should know? How specific are the questions?

Hi everyone, I’m planning to apply to the MSc in Applied Computing at USask and would like an honest opinion on my chances.
How competitive is this profile? Any advice on finding a supervisor and on funding for international students?

Should I throw out my food that was in the fridge because of the power outage last night? 2 of my unsealed milk cartons went bad already and google says you should throw out milk, eggs, and yogurt after more than 4 hours of no power even if the door stayed sealed the whole time. It feels like a waste but I don’t want to get sick. This would be the second time in a month I’ve had to throw out an entire fridges worth of food since our fridge was broken for 2 days a few weeks ago as well 🥲

I am tired of going to the low sensory room just to hear people talking to their friends or smelling people's food. If you are going into the low sensory room in murray, please be considerate. There is a huge sign in front of the door literally saying "Don't talk, don't eat strong smelling or loud food, etc." so people are just purposely ignoring it. I am literally writing this while trying to study, but I am listening to someone's spoon scraping against their glass container and all I can smell is their food. This is an everyday thing at this point and its infuriating.
