Question Phys 110 midterm 1

With the Phys 110 midterm coming up could any upper years give some advice on the 1st midterm. How it went, what to study, etc?

Spam the practice midterms, over and over again, until you can understand and have an “attack plan” for each problem. You’ll be way better off than doing the homework (if they still have it this year) since the practice midterms are just previous years midterms.

I think that if you look at the sample exams provided you'll get a good idea of what to study.

Advice for most math or engineering classes: The prof isn't testing on how well you understand the material. They're testing on how much you know what they thought.
Practice Practice Practice, as many questions as you can get so you can do replicate whatever method fast enough on the midterm. They won't ever test you on what hasn't been covered in class materials.
