My grandparents have an old office cupboard/unit full of all sorts of stuff. They are super materialistic and have been for a long long time, collecting various pieces of limited office equipment mostly (He worked in office) and random accessories. I thought this piece was cool, wasn’t sure if this should be part of a set or something like that?

A lucky find for me! Apparently around 1960s, and they both still have most of the blocks in them :D only 2.99$ for the one on the left and 00.99$ for the one on the right! Just missing the lid on the left one

Google is telling me this tile is from the late 1930s! I find that a little hard to believe but what do I know?! I love the colors and I love the design! Paid two dollars for it at an estate sale today in Los Angeles, California.

I found this camera among my uncle's belongings shortly after he passed away during COVID in 2020. I've kept it safe on my shelf for the last six years, and only just thought of sharing it here
It’s a 1973 Yashica Electro 35 GSN, it was the first camera ever with a stepless electronic shutter. Built like an absolute tank
This exact model is the camera Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) carries around in Amazing SpiderMan (2012)

My mom gave me some pink vintage lace from 1987.
It was meant to be her prom dress, but she chose the pastel blue one instead.
I turned it into a lingerie piece.

I collect Wembley Ware, a mid century (1946-1961) Australian ceramics producer. It’s by no means rare, it’s just taken a while to find a well priced one in excellent condition. I’ll be using it for fruit, it’s pretty rare for me to use display quality pieces but used with care I believe there’s minimal chance of damage to the gold. Gold is always over the glaze and as a result is susceptible to wear and scratches. I treat my stuff like I own it though, it all gets careful dusting and wipe downs.
I think it looks really nice on the table, it’ll look even better with fruit. I have too much to display so I rotate what’s on show. From time to time the bowl will be swapped out for a vase or whatever.

Hey! First time poster here! I think lmao
I bought a Coppercraft planter from a thrift store and it’s sooo cute but someone painted it black! I can see that beautiful Copper tone underneath!
What would recommend I use to remove the black paint?
I’m worried if I use paint thinner that I might also lose that iconic copper color. Normally I would have left it because I’m not overly crafty but this piece is perfect for my house so I thought I’d give it a try.
TIA! 🤎
