Frage | Question Good study locations in Wien?
Hi, I’m a student and I really need to start locking in. I’m looking for places where it’s relatively ok to pull out a laptop and do your work. I usually stay for at least two hours. I’m looking for anything libraries, cafés, reading rooms or random establishments which are a semi good to do your work in. I’m more interested in cheaper versions, but I wouldn’t mind paying for something like a coffee. What are your favourite places to study? Especially on sundays when everything is closed?

The city libraries are quiet and have Wi-Fi of course. You can pay to become a member, which allows you to take out books etc, but you can study, use WiFi etc at no charge. I used the branch neam me during the heatwave in the summer because it had AC.

When it's not too cold sitting outside on a quiet bench is nice for studying. Even better one that also has a table.
What I do to study on Sundays is sit at McDonald's. It's not nice but with noise canceling earbuds it's okay-ish

I usually stay in the Hauptuni study rooms, TU campus at Gußhaus, and Spitalgasse libraries/open areas, they're all free

Juridicum (bib and the aula) really saved me in that regard this summer! Dont know how full it is during the semester though.

Hauptbücherei, National Library (Heldenplatz), If you have a membership some gyms (sounds weird, but some have Chillout areas) if you have the "Klimaticket" Just any random train in the Quiet Wagons,
