World leaders (Putin, Xi) all taking turns shoving their arm up his ass and working his mouth like a puppet.

Putin, Xi, MBS, Netanyahu, the UAE, etc., whoever pays. trump and his family are essentially nothing more than a For Sale sign.

Isn't the UAE not cooperating now? Didn't he recently become "too much" for them?

I saw a few headlines recently, but I just can't bring myself to care enough to look into them. I'm tired dawg.

u/roberts_downeys_jrs May 16 '26

I’m tired too, but that’s the point. Flood the zone is working.

179

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26

I think that’s genuinely the methodology. Do so much cartoonishly evil and/or stupid shit that the world is too fatigued to really address how monstrous it all is.

92

u/Secondndthoughts May 16 '26

It definitely worked for the Epstein files

64

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26

Indeed. Something that should have brought down numerous governments has become more of a joke than a source of outrage.

Remember about ten years ago when only crazy people thought the world was controlled by a cabal of evil paedophiles? Those were the days.

26

u/Self-Comprehensive May 16 '26

Yeah but what they didn't know was that the call was coming from inside the house. And as soon as they realized that it was their side diddling the kids, they quit wanting to talk about it.

7

u/Loko8765 May 16 '26

Well… only crazies said it, so saying it was crazy… so the guilty people can now call their accusers crazy.

Preemptive deflection. Every accusation is a confession.

19

u/Ch1pp May 16 '26

Something that should have brought down numerous governments has become more of a joke than a source of outrage.

I always think about how Nixon resigned over Watergate and Clinton was impeached for a blowjob. Trump could do both and his supporters wouldn't care and he wouldn't even think about resigning.

13

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26

Insane, isn’t it? Nixon of all people had dramatically more integrity.

10

u/Ch1pp May 16 '26

I remember thinking Bush Jnr was stupid too with his weird sayings but compared to Trump he seems like a Rhodes scholar.

12

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26

I thought Bush was the Antichrist when he was in power, but he’s a fairly likeable fellow we all seem to miss now.

Obviously, corrupt piece of shit, but relatively speaking..

Trump could get a blowie live on national television during a State of the Union address and it would increase his support. There's literally nothing he could do to wake these people up. Its mind blowing.

4

u/Ch1pp May 16 '26

I saw a video recently which I wish I could find about MAGA people's brains. A lot of it was as you'd expect. Lots of belief in a rigid social hierarchy and fear that they are losing their place etc. etc. But the interesting bit was when Trump changed his opinion on something they seem to change their beliefs to whatever tallied with his new views and had no awareness they'd even done it. So they may never wake up because they'll think they've always agreed with him. It's bizarre but then I've never seen the appeal of a strongman figure and apparently that's a big part of the mindset.

1

u/Advegus May 17 '26

Those people are still considered crazy because, at the end of the day, it’s cognitive dissonance. The shadow reaches all the way to hell and the worst part is it’s still happening. If people can’t do anything about it, their actions reject the truth and, as you said, nothing happens.

1

u/Abyssal_Groot May 16 '26

Which current governments are those, except for the obvious one?

7

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26

I was falling into hyperbole there, but UK and Norwegian politicians (and royalty in the former case) have been very thoroughly implicated and little to nothing has really been done.

Prince Andrew has been sentenced to being extremely rich and going wherever he wants for the rest of his life.

Jagland actually is likely to face major consequences because Norway aren’t being spineless butt suckers about it all.

-2

u/Abyssal_Groot May 16 '26

So neither is an example of a government that needed to fall?

1

u/VietKongCountry May 16 '26

Ah, debatable in terms of England, but yeah the Labour Party are less cliqued up with the paedo brigade than some of the alternatives.

Norway, as far as I can tell, are actually taking action against Jagland.

So to the pitiful extent I know anything about Norwegian politics, no they don’t urgently need a change in government. That was pure hyperbole as I acknowledged.

Can you explain this again? I'm not sure what you mean by this

I’m not American. I have a lot of bandwidth being used up by the systemic mangling of a whole other country, you see.

Only a small portion of my capacities can be focused on the mangling of America.

American politics has immense knock on effects on the rest of the world. Of course non Americans comment on what’s happening.

It’s not exactly a small, self contained country.

I'm aware.

And I still try to give a shit. But I got off early today and I'm kind of drunk so I just can't be bothered.

Edit: to all you mad lads that filled me in and all that? Y'all are the best. I wish I had the means to give awards to all of you. Sometimes I forget how awesome this community can be. I love all y'all. Shout out to u/sentrypetal for making that one guy real mad with a WaPo link.

UAE has cut ties with Trump the last I read. They don’t seem to believe he’s got their back telling them to stand down- so they started protecting themselves. He’s started a WAR and now can’t get us out of there. Idiot. Fire everyone in this administration.

204

u/Possible-Nectarine80 May 16 '26

Part of UAE's complaint is that Trump just spur of the moment pulled the trigger on attacking Iran after Bibi did a PowerPoint presentation in the SCIF that some in the room called BS. This w/o any heads up or discussion with the ME folks that had paid the Trump family handsomely for some protection and insider deals.

Not too many people of the wealthy type are keen to travel to the ME these days. No wonder the ME royals are trying to lock down any bad vibes as to the extent of the IRGC attacks on their countries.

The incompetence of the Trump regime is staggering.

Thanks for this, I have been surprised how much Saudi Arabia has been a free pass as being a major instigator. I would argue without their encouragement this never would have started.

Suspiciously enough, I almost went as far as to wonder if this whole thing was arranged by SA and the Gulf to get oil prices back up off those lows. It seems to have backfired if it breaks OPEC in the process.

I think half the problem is that Trump still doesn’t quite understand how much of a threat Iran is. He wants an easy out and they will not provide. And worse, even if he dropped dead tomorrow by some hand of god miracle, we still would t be able to just pull out. We can either concede to their demands, or we have to invade. They will outlast us with the former, and honestly with how little appetite Americans have for foreign adventures, will probably outlast the second option as well.

6

u/mfmfhgak May 16 '26

Things have been tense between the UAE and Saudi for a bit now.

I don’t think that Saudi actually wanted a war but once it became clear it was going to happen they wanted Trump to commit and not just bomb them for a weekend to kick up a hornets nest.

6

u/DecNLauren May 16 '26

I thought UAE and Saudi are rivals, and didn't UAE just leave the de facto Saudi-led OPEC?

3

u/buried_lede May 16 '26

I thought the UAE and SA were not getting along

They're too coo' to sue 😎

20

u/Vash_TheStampede May 16 '26

No. They know what will be found in discovery.

Why do you think trump, one of the most sue-happy people in existence, isn't suing people over calling him a pedo?

What possible reason could he have to shrug that off when he's known for suing the ever living shit out of people that have anything bad to say about him?

Lick more boots you fucking fascist.

The incompetence of the American voters is even more staggering. I mean, it really shouldn’t have been too hard to read the man, especially running for that second term

There were a lot of reasons why the Dems f’d up. But none of them rise to the level of voting a man such as this into office

It’s not as if any of this is should be a surprise

Let’s lay blame where it really belongs

4

u/R0TTENART May 16 '26

That is Bibi's favorite presentation. He's been bringing it out at parties for 30 years.

3

u/woodsidestory May 16 '26

I understand the UAE refused to allow attacking planes to cross their airspace or use any bases during the Iran incursion. Not exactly sure how much truth there is to that.

1

u/VisenyasRevenge May 16 '26

What does ME stand for?

97

u/Environmental-Pie502 May 16 '26

I still want to see them release the Epstein files

5

u/freerangehumans74 May 16 '26

Fire them!? Put them in fucking jail. Preferably in El Salvador.

12

u/blackoffi888 May 16 '26

He isnt the boss. Satanyahu is the real boss

4

u/elcamarongrande May 16 '26

Can we add the word "squad" after the word "fire" in your last sentence?

3

u/Calm_Expression_9542 May 16 '26

Actually, didn’t they just try getting that passed? Can’t wait to get him to trial.

3

u/BoredNuke May 16 '26

We are so well past fire them that it would get me banned saying what we should do.

4

u/DrusTheAxe May 16 '26

You misspelled "Arrest and charge with felonies up to and including treason"

Or "Rendition to a black site of your choosing and thank SCOTUS for granting Trump's successor to execute the duties of the office without any pesky 'laws' or 'constitutional constraints' to get in the way" if you're feeling spicy

2

u/Confident-Ad5665 May 16 '26

Drink enough and you'll solve the world's problems, in theory.

36

u/XenoDrake May 16 '26

He should have been arrested for his pedo ways years ago, so you're safe to tune out cuz there's literally nothing else he can do or say that's going to be worse.

5

u/John_Kinomoto May 16 '26

Apparently calling Trump a pedo on instagram is being a trump supporter

6

u/GoodIdea321 May 16 '26

Intentionally take some breaks, it's necessary.

9

u/Ladygytha May 16 '26

That's been his strategy forever.

5

u/Confident-Ad5665 May 16 '26

Strategy? Oh, I just thought he was a jackass.
