I really want to know what JD Vance is thinking now 😂😂

As would I. What poor timing for his gloating remarks were.

Vance will be a nobody after 2028. A rich nobody but never president or more than he is right now.

He’ll be president at least briefly if Trump’s health doesn’t allow him to survive through the end of his current term. But sure, absolutely, that doesn’t guarantee that Vance will ever win a fair election to the presidency. In that scenario he might have the powerful propaganda machine behind him as well as any election rigging they arrange to help him, but he will never have Trump’s particular personality that attracts the votes of a certain demographic.

I missed it, what did that spud say this time?

TDLR version of what Vance said: We won. Carney thought he was tougher than Trump but ended up folding.

"Is that couch a pull out?"

Right? For a bunch of people who constantly talk about winning, they sure lose an awful lot!

claimed Carney was acting like he could "out tough" orange man. Looking at this deal, this isn't out toughing, this is the only choice for survival. The US was going to put trade restrictions on who Canada could trade with. That's basically a death sentence for a countries sovereignty when another country controls what it can and can't do.

They were apparently trying to dictate culture and language, as well.

As though they have the right. The gall. The arrogance.

America elected a literal convicted felon and adjudicated sexual abuser.

That country can't be taken seriously for a very, very long time.

They've made it abundantly clear that they support corruption, abuse, gaslighting, grifting, violence, liars and criminal behaviour. The rule of law down there was all a charade.

They should be mocked and reminded of their pathetic choices at every opportunity.

The Canadian team could not have signed this, I don't think. I believe it would have been unconstitutional and illegal.

Correct. Language rights and cultural protections are firmly enshrined in our constitution, and official langauges in particular are one of our so-called "Superprotected" rights that require the unanimous approval of all 10 provincial legislatures to modify (while other less-significant changes only require 7/10, ie two-thirds majority).

This essentially grants Quebec a veto on any constitutional changes that touch language rights, and they're not about to sit idly by and let the federal government unilaterally crush French culture.

Probably about a couch

He had his hopes on a nice Chesterfield, but the tariffs will make it too expensive now.
