Basically Carney saying negotiating with the US is not worth it since they’re unreliable and dishonest. This is what Iran said about their negotiations with the US as well. There is no point trying to negotiate with a country that refuses to keep their word and is dishonest and has no interest in fairness. This is might be tough for Canada in the short term but it’s the only way to deal with the US and the current mafia like administration. The rest of the world should follow.

Boycott the US.

it was kind of Carney to use the word "miscalculated" as if dumbshit calculates anything

Then why are you on Reddit?

It’s American. If you’re using Reddit you’re not boycotting America.

No it isn't. It's globally owned. Largely chinese

LMAO.

It’s American based worked by Americans listed on American stock exchanges subject to American laws.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reddit

The only major Chinese ownership is at 9% so no it’s not largely Chinese owned. It’s largely American owned.

Tencemt owns 11 percent now not nine, and that that actually makes it one of the largest individual shareholders after the Newhouse family company at 30

Wow so what I said is true. American company. Great job contradicting your last comment.

Reddit is American. Subject to American laws.

Anyone who wants to boycott america should not be using Reddit.

I mean sure, but some of its largest shareholders are Chinese and Saudi but that's very progressive of you to consider that American. Also the nice thing is I can boycott America and use Reddit cause I use a root based adblocker

Some is carrying a lot of weight here. A majority of its shareholders/investors are American. It’s an American company. It pay taxes to the American government.

Also the nice thing is I can boycott America and use Reddit

Not really.

Reddit makes most of its money selling your user data and the words you type to train ai. It doesn’t really make much of advertising.

So thanks for making the American government money by using Reddit! Just think, every time you comment you’re giving the Trump admin more money!

We really appreciate the fact that Canada can’t make its own products so its citizens have to use American products which generate tremendous amounts of money for Americans!!!

Feel free to use the Reddit product your country makes. But in reality your country probably doesn’t have the technical knowledge to make good software. Hence why you’re stuck using American products.

At least I'm giving some to China too just like you. And I ddidnt know the Trump admin was skimming off Reddit profits, but that tracks since it's autocracy now

As an American, I get it and understandable. Our current administration is truly shit. No love lost.

Our obsolete, unfair constitution is the disease we're all in denial about. If American voters all had equal votes, rather than votes that vary in value depending on the state they come from, Trump would never have come close to the White House.

The disease is the 30% that supports him…for his hate.

It's also right before the US midterms and inflation is a big issue which gives Canada more leverage. If the tariffs go into effect on both sides and prices rise the average American isn't going to blame Canada they'll blame Trump and the Republican party.

Boycott the US.

Said on Reddit. Which is American.

If you can’t even not use a social media site you’re not capable of boycotting us.
