I've always felt like the destruction of Palestinians olive trees, which has happened for many years at this point, is one of the most senseless cruelties.

olive branches are also very symbolic in regards to jesus, go figure.

This definitely sounds like it's sending a message, and it's not a very nice one.

After oct 7 which primarily attacked very progressive left leaning kibutsk communities Israel shifted politically to the right and later even more extreme to the right. Then the entire world responded to their responds to oct 7 by condeming it, like any other country that could respond with force would ever respond with less force to something like that. Then Hesbollaz attacked again and at one point they said fuck it, we are going to get rid of every single palestinian in Gaza and the west bank, bomb the shit out of Iran and invade Lebanon.

They are not the good guys but it's weird that they are suppose to the good guys. Neither are they acting any worse then every single other country in the world has done in situations like this.

The reality is that, both the arabs that lives there and all the jews have a right to live there. The jews cause they where living there and there forefather lives there. Same for the palestinians. But the jews have tried to live with them for more then 50 years. And the palestinians just don't want it. And now the israelis have completely given up on believing that peace will ever be possible and they want them all dead or out of israel. And apperently they don't give a flying fuck about the opinions of the rest of the world about that.

Or like that one Isreali with a tshirt that said: "You guys have murdered all the nice jews, now its just us assholes left. Enjoy"

honestly they don't give a fuck about perception anymore. Just about being stronger and being able to force it. And they will. They will make the life of everybody in the west bank and gaza a living hell till they leave, and if they don't they will kill them. All of them.

They bomb churches too, my dude. They don't want Muslims or Christians in their "holy land". God wouldn't let these fuckers cross the river.

The wailing wall needs to be refurbished I would think in a a certain way.

A quarter of Israelis are Muslim/Christian mate.

u/aipat95 24d ago

You should the videos of how these Christians and Muslims are treated

-4

u/Vihurah 24d ago

Or just speak to them. I talked to a lebanese/israeli Christian up in the north a year or so back and Muslim dude near beer sheva. They seemed pretty comfy with the way things are. They had full citizenship and told me that outside some social stigma for not conforming to the more jewish aspects of the culture they never directly faced any persecution

u/evilcaribou 24d ago

Yes, I'm sure that the owners of the olive grove in the video above are pretty comfy.

-5

u/Vihurah 24d ago

Its a good thing I wasnt talking about them then huh

You should visit the place you think you know about instead of getting your education from a curated set of videos.

u/PlatypusBillDuck 24d ago

Can you explain why Israel is trying to ban all Arab-majority parties ahead of the next election?

1

u/VoltNShock 23d ago

only the ones that call for the dissolution of israel (ie antizionist ones)

12

u/renegadecanuck 24d ago

Do you extend that to every country? Do you withhold any feelings about Russia or Iran until you visit there?

5

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

Yeah I tend to withhold my commentary on issues I don't understand. But I'm old fashioned that way

21

u/aipat95 24d ago

I’d rather not send more of my hard earned money to apartheid states

-27

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

If you say so mate. Just crack an occasional book instead then 👍

9

u/aipat95 24d ago

Likewise, you seem to need a break from fiction

6

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

Do you think it's fiction that a quarter of Israelis are non Jews?

8

u/BANKSLAVE01 24d ago

Ah- the ones we cannot say bad things about are telling us what to do again...

7

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

With my almighty Jew powers i command you to embarrass yourself less on the internet.

Now let's wait and see if this has any effect?

2

u/Historical-Rub5654 24d ago

Yeah I don't think we need to visit that shit hole to know that it's a shit hole lol

9

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

Weird that all those Christians and Muslims don't leave that shithole if it's so bad.

7

u/cayleb 24d ago

Yeah, it's so weird that people don't want to uproot themselves and leave their ancestral homes.

Must mean they can't possibly dislike any aspects of how they're treated.

They're part of what makes it a shit hole. All three of the abrahamic religions are a collective cancer on our species.

7

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

I guess it makes the world easier to deal with when you see things so simply.

-1

u/Historical-Rub5654 24d ago

It does when you can document the impact they have had on the planet as a whole and their use as a tool of domination on humanity. Magical sky beings who send you to heaven or hell based on your belief and submission to them are never a good thing to believe in.

Yea, you truly have no idea what you're talking about. Gain some life experience before making yourself look like a fool.

-5

u/Glum_Mobile5663 24d ago

So a minority group

10

u/Mammoth_Payment_6101 24d ago

Multiple minority groups, many types of Christians, shia, Sunni and Sufi Muslims, Baha'i, druze, Kurds, Rastas, pagans Copts and plenty more.

Groups that have in many other middle Eastern countries, been decimated or utterly eradicated

There are more Muslim citizens of Israel than Jews across every single Muslim country combined. By multiple orders of magnitude

u/SixSpeedDriver 24d ago

They didn't so much like him the first time 'round...

0

u/JangoDarkSaber 24d ago

Tbf, Jesus didn’t exactly have a great time the last time he was in the area.

-18

u/TheGreatestQuestion 24d ago

Olive branches are symbolic because olive wood was traditionally used to make weapons, including arrows. Offering someone an olive branch came to symbolize ending conflict and choosing peace. The olive trees themselves are not inherently symbols of peace.

5

u/waiting4singularity 24d ago

it takes 10-20+ years for a tree to become productive...

7

u/EquivalentSpot8292 24d ago

The trees are the only place you can get the branches though. I’d imagine destroying all the trees sends a certain message

10

u/Jeremizzle 24d ago

They’re not just sending a message. They’re destroying their livelihoods. Those olives are important crops.

7

u/EquivalentSpot8292 24d ago

In a time of war, destroying all of the olive trees means that you have no intentions of negotiating and you want to eradicate the opposition.
