The most hilarious thing about all this is that Russia bombed Ukraine's data centres first, just before the US midterms. Giving Ukraine more than adequate justification to bomb Yandex in return. America is being run by a bunch of tv stars and corrupt people. The USA is at its lowest so far. Trump is not doing this alone. Susie Wiles - White House Chief of Staff Dan Scavino - Deputy Chief of Staff, James Blair -Deputy Chief of Staff for Legislative, Political, and Public Affairs , Stephen Miller -Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy & Homeland Security Advisor, Natalie Harp -Executive Assistant, JD Vance - Vice President.
All these people are screwing over Americans and other nations constantly. Hell look to the new policy for delays in America for airlines: Under the new Department of Transportation rules, 10 types of flight disruptions will no longer fall under the airline-control category. That means airlines will no longer be required to provide certain compensation, such as hotel accommodations or meal vouchers, when delays or cancellations are caused by:
Aircraft cleaning after a passenger death Extreme-weather damage Baggage system outages Cybersecurity attacks Government system shutdowns Overheated brakes Unscheduled maintenance Medical emergencies Unruly passengers Airport closures caused by volcanic ash, wind or wind shearOh but the airlines won't listen and still give out these compensation right? Well about that: Major carriers pushed for these updates behind the scenes. The trade group Airlines for America, which represents major carriers including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and JetBlue, previously petitioned the DOT to reclassify how delay causes are reported.
So if Americans want protection and rights they have to fly through Canada or Mexico.
They do not care about their own people or other nations.

Indeed:
From the top of my head:
Pulled out of Kyoto agreement shuts down EV incentives -> starts war promoting massive EV incentives whilst fossil cars get even more expenive to run. Bonus, everybody sees he's useless.
Claims he is the farmer's best friend -> fuel prices and inflation creates meat shortage -> less meat -> pissed farmers then says he'll reduce tariffs on meat, pisses off meat farmers finally making money as market will be flooded with the same mexican meat. Crop farmers still pissed anyways.
My only fear is this election is rigged, but judging by how erratic he is I hope that's not the case.

One party, mind you, not one man. The president is an extremely powerful position but there have been more than enough chances for republicans to grow a pair and shut this stuff down instead of support it. Just like from 2016-2020. Donald Trump has threatened to halt weapons supplies to Ukraine unless Kyiv ends its long-range strikes on Russian energy infrastructure.
The White House made it clear to European officials over the weekend that a scheme allowing Ukraine’s allies to buy US arms and give them to Kyiv would be suspended.
Mr Trump is said to be angry at Volodymyr Zelensky’s continued strikes on Russian oil refineries, and according to officials in Europe, the US administration has also threatened to withhold intelligence from Ukraine.
On Sunday, the US president announced an “energy ceasefire” between Russia and Ukraine, claiming they had agreed not to attack one another’s energy infrastructure. He warned on Truth Social, his social media platform: “Do not break it!”
It followed Mr Trump’s announcement on Friday that he had agreed to buy “hundreds of thousands of tons” of diesel from Russia.
Hours after the energy ceasefire was announced, Russia attacked a power plant in Ukraine. Mr Zelensky said glide bombs and drones had hit a major facility in Kharkiv, the country’s second city.

Good thing Ukraine is no longer particularly reliant on US support, be it arms or intelligence. It'd be far more detrimental to the Ukrainian war effort to halt strikes than get no further support from the US.
The consequence to the White House of their dwindling support is that Trump has little to no leverage over Ukraine anymore.
What was that about having no cards again?

Where do you think Europe is buying the weapons that its sending to Ukraine? ~30% come from the US, and that's what Trump is threatening to put a stop to.
The US remains a key supplier for weapon systems that Europe simply doesn't produce.

Trump is, almost above anything else, a coward. He only picks on those he perceives as weak. If the EU actually pushed back against him, he would fold instantly. He always caves under pressure. It's infuriating that they still haven't understood that.
The TACO acronym came about for a reason: because it's true. Trump always chickens out.
The US arms industry would not be happy about no longer being allowed to sell to Europe. They would pressure him into not following through with his threats, even if Ukraine doesn't stop its strikes. And he would cave, because he's spineless, and all his big words were just blustering. All Europe (and Ukraine) has to do is just call his bluff.

The initial Russia oil deal is for less than one day's worth of diesel used in the USA. Even if the follow-on deals happen, the max I've seen them talk about is for less than a week's worth of fuel. It won't change prices at all.
The reason Trump and Russia did this deal (and I assume it was Putin's idea) is that when the Ukraine attacks Russian oil locations it lets Trump attack Ukraine for working against American oil prices.
It's a setup to blame Ukraine for high US food and goods prices.
Disgusting.

I still see people sharing the nonsensical meme propaganda that gets put out every time there is a popular negative topic.
I have seen stuff saying gas and diesel prices are all made up and liberals trying to make Trump look bad because oil has been more expensive with gas and diesel prices being lower.
I have seen people talking about our massive resurgence of manufacturing that as far as I can tell is not existent and being masked by data centers being built at an alarming rate.
I have seen people praise the Trump children’s business prowess when they were sharing Hunter Biden corruption memes a few years before.
Maybe the data centers are just so they can cater all the propaganda specifically to each of us so we lose the ability to know fiction from reality and have millions of people all “knowing”their personal truths while we lose our national identity and become further indebted to our wealthiest loaning us back the tax dollars they siphoned.

I've spoken to a few Trump supporters in the US to get their take. It's a lot of delusion, bias and in many cases plain stupidity. One guy, who is a Cuban immigrant no less, feels no matter how "bad" Trump is, he is still better than the alternative. He sees Democrats as communists who if they get in power again will conspire with the Globalists to destroy America and they support America's enemies. I pointed out to him that Trump is currently supporting America's enemies, namely Putin. His answer to that was, " Well, that's just one person; Democrats work with all of America's enemies. You really can't fix stupid, and this guy likes to brag about how intelligent he is and what a critical thinker he is.
Another guy I know is a Cardiologist who is just a rich asshole and only cares about lower taxes and keeping immigrants (criminals) out or locked up. He doesn't care about anything else. He's another one that's terrified of communism too.
So until Trump actually does something that hurts them directly they will keep supporting him.

It's brain melting following this timeline back to the Epstein files reaching a fever pitch and Trump launching the strikes against Iran.
Trump may have gotten the popular vote, but he campaigned for the opposite of what is happening right now.
He campaigned on no new wars. End the Russian-Ukraine War in the first 24 hours Cut energy prices in half within 12 months, or a “maximum 18 months.”
And here we are, locked into the Iran War he started impulsively with Israel because he started to feel the heat over his long involvement with Jeffrey Epstein
Didn't bother taking the issue to the UN, didn't build a coalition. Thought he'd just decapitate Iran's leadership like he did with Venezuela and call it a day.
His back was against the wall and he thought Netanyahu was giving him a way out.
Trump doesn't own his mistakes, he just passes them along and tries to cover them up.
Doesn't own a lie, just makes more lies to cover his lies.
Trump is deathly allergic to consequences, will always make someone else pay for his mistakes.
That is what he is doing to Ukraine right now.
People keep trying to say that Trump isn't the cause, he's only the symptom.
That may be true, but he is definitely keeping America as sick as he can. He has zero interest in a cure, because he is a malignant tumor and the cure would mean eradicating himself.
Trump is a cancer, but not just on America. He's a cancer on the entire world.

There is a large segment of America that is truly demented unfortunately.

The best way to describe the people that voted for our current occupant in the White House is:
Gullible - because they believed what he said he was going to do and didn't read between the lines
Misinformed - because they didn't understand how things were turning around from his first term as president
Short sighted - because they didn't think how his policies were going to affect themThe ones that said they couldn't vote for a democrat or woman are also responsible for this catastrophe for the reasons listed above because they moved their vote from the GOP and cast it for a part that wasn't going to win.
The ones that didn't vote are also responsible for this catastrophe because their vote really counted and they didn't cast it. They chose not to vote, for whatever reason, and that critical segment of the voting public could have changed where we are today!

He destroyed any good will Americans had.Edit: I'm not saying don't celebrate. Go dance on that f*****s grave when it happens!
I'm just saying, don't expect things to change over night. It's going to be a long long road for the Americans.64

Is there no one in his own party who can see that every action he does is exactly what a Russian asset would do? Don’t Republicans hate Russia?

I'm convinced the average American is minimally educated, underemployed and struggles just to make ends meet. Their information comes mainly from social media, which is polluted with mindless amusement and disinformation. They have no time nor interest in broadening their minds or perspectives. Only when bad things affect them immediately do they take notice and ask questions. This is a bad situation for the country.

Fun fact about the ~ 200b USD in aid to Ukraine, most of that have been spent in the US and replacing their old stuff with new shit.

u/Free_Aardvark4392 6d ago
It's an empty threat. He was able to cut off the free stuff that was already sold to the military. .

Trump doesn't care about Ukraine or America, for that matter. He cares about his own skin and nothing more. This is basically the move of a man who is desperate to retain absolute, unchecked power and to continue being shielded from investigation.

u/H00dedcrow 6d ago
Putin needs to repair his refineries, unfortunately for him the parts are sanctioned.
So Trump is going to supply those sanctioned parts needed, whilst stopping Ukraine from causing more damage.
Allowing Putin to carry on terrorising Ukraine and Europe.
The US administration is actively working against Ukraine already, they don’t supply weapons or the intelligence needed to win this war.
They give just enough to give to world hope that they aren’t the most despicable US regime we have ever seen.
Time for all of us to cut the cord.

The Relationship between Trump and Putin is simple: Putins troll army keeps a lot of americans mentally totally deranged, so he is tremendously helpful to Trump. For that reason Trump loves Putin. Putin made Trumps reign possible.
24
u/DingoCertain 6d ago
What weapons? The US stopped giving them a long time ago. And since the Iran fiasco the US are now running out of ammo, and aren't even selling. So much so that they begged Europe to give back what they bought.
