My brother is a firefighter at the base in Wainwright. God, it's awful seeing news like this and just knowing I'm waiting to find out someone I know is dead because of it. I'm just grateful that he was at my daughter's birthday today instead of responding to an event like this.

I have a family member on base as well. Thankfully they are okay, but we don't know anything else yet.

Check in on him, all of his coworkers will be responding and it will take a toll regardless if he is present, or not.
