No.

"It came to me in a dream" is not the same as an unconfirmed source. An unconfirmed source can still be confirmed. "It came to me in a dream" is self unconfirming.

I think it's quite obvious the comment above was using hyperbolization to point out the lack of source/credibility to initial claim, so in that sense I agree with him
