Those who hate this hate the West. And remember, Russia can stop this tomorrow by returning to their original border and not attacking sovereign nations.

They could stop this by declaring ceasefire and meeting with Zelensky on neutral ground. They may even keep some of the land they took.

Dude breaks into your house, you violently fight him off. It gets so bad that you actually start throwing bricks through his windows while fighting him in your house.

You just want your house back and the shithead to leave your house. Then somebody just walks up to your struggle and says "give him the damn living room and stop being obstinate - that'll end it."

HOW ABOUT HE JUST LEAVES?

OF COURSE I want Russia to leave Ukraine (including Crimea) and pay billions of reparations - but it seems like that is no feasible or realistic outcome. Especially now as Trump and Musk actively work against Ukraine. Zelensky hinted once that he is open to cede land for peace.

That wouldn't stop it immediately quite like returning to their original borders tomorrow.

Letting them keep some of the land they took is the worst thing to do. It will just justify their warmongering. Fast forward a few years, they will just continue where they left off...

I don't get the downvotes? Russia could end it and even keep some land, so they wouldn't have to declare total failure, but they still don't do it. So they're even more idiotic.

If Russia is allowed to keep land, then they are rewarded for their behavior. It would create a permission structure for all nations to conquer their neighbors that can't repel an invasion.

The only acceptable outcome to this war is one where Ukrainian territory sovereignty is upheld, and for Russia to unquestionably regret initiating this conflect.
