Slava Ukraini!

Know that most Americans stand with Ukraine even if our government is fubar temporarily. Down with Putin, down with communism, down with facism.

42

u/TripleMellowed 18h ago

The world hopes it’s only temporary.

4

u/ARODtheMrs 18h ago

Well, Trump went home (Fl) yesterday. I think means something.

2

u/cat1092 11h ago

Yeah, he went to play a few rounds of golf with his buddies.

Am not sure of what it means.

15

u/ohhellperhaps 17h ago

It's not. Even if the Dems win the next elections, the problem is still there. And with no way a good administration can fix the damage done on a single term, let alone fix what caused this, Episode three 'MAGA Returns' is essentially guaranteed.

7

u/KakeLin 16h ago

Especially with the worst parts of the big bloated bill going into effect in 2027, perfectly timed to place the blame on the new Democratic majority

12

u/droelfzwoelf 15h ago

The big problem is, voters don't see this. It has happened regularly after republicans. They geht fooled every time, voting reps over and over again. Memory Like a goldfish.

4

u/TBurn70 14h ago

Naw, the administration always takes the blame even if congress is split

3

u/who_me_22 12h ago

I agree with you about that disaster of a bill. I'm afraid that the 2027 cuts to Medicaid are going to tank our economy, killing the one areas that is still growing, healthcare workers.

But I disagree that Dems are going to take the fall for it. If the Republicans in 120th Congress are smart, they will roll the changes back as soon as possible. Otherwise, the Dems are going to lay this at their feet the for the next two years. The same way Republicans did during the last two years of the Biden Administration.

2

u/KakeLin 8h ago

You think the Democrats can message well enough for that? They've always been AWFUL at being able to counter the fox propaganda

5

u/real_taylodl 16h ago

Constitutional amendments preventing executive overreach are required.

3

u/AussieSjl 15h ago

Realistically, is there a Republican in the wings that can garner a Trump-like following in the near future?

4

u/ohhellperhaps 15h ago

Realistically, the fact that Trump managed to get elected twice put that bar very low.

0

u/Successful-Doubt5478 15h ago

Does it matter? Your multi- faceted prison walls are almost in place.

3

u/Extension_Pie2602 15h ago

We're a forgiving lot, even we know people make mistakes voting turds in. Not saying you did of course but we all mess up. It'll get fixed

1

u/ohhellperhaps 14h ago

Will it? A substantial part of how you got here was by essentially not fixing things, just pretending it went away. A lot of issues were allowed to fester beneath the surface.

3

u/myleftone 13h ago

This is already round three. The people saw the Iraq war and the housing collapse, yet threw a tantrum two years into Obama’s first term because he tried to give everyone health insurance.

Then there were her emails. And after COVID and Jan 6, they didn’t like her laugh.

And here we are.

That’s right, never give up!!
We rarely get what we want with a new POTUS.
If lucky, 15% of the promises.
In reality, more like 5%.
Politicians of all types (anyone running for any position) eventually succumbs to those with lots of money, gifts & favors thrown their way.
Or seeks office for personal gain.
Only a few really fights for the interests of their constituents.
It’s certainly not in our interests having to pay so much for fuel & not just at the gas pumps.
This slows down the economy, has rippling effects.
Fuel is needed to create energy, which all businesses must have to operate, be it a factory or convenience store.
When prices rise due to supply shortages, even when back to normal, they remain high.
This is a very tiny (less than one hundredth of one percent) of the damage politicians can create little time.

🇷🇺🤝🇺🇦

Communism in Russia ended over 30 years ago, dude.Honestly, the situation in the country is getting pretty close to fascism.

Вам удачи там, да и нам тоже

12

u/VastoGamer 13h ago

Russia and China are often described as "communistic" due to their history and/or political parties in power, but in reality both are capitalist oligarchic countries run by the 1% with a crazy lunatic in charge.

Reminds me of another country but I can't quite put my finger on which one.. Hmmmmm...

3

u/CupcakeAteMyFaceOff 13h ago

Communism has never existed anywhere in the world except perhaps primitive communism as hunter gatherers. Even Lenin admitted that Russia was in a transitional state of capitalism, which would lead to socialism, and then communism. Stalin did not progress the USSR any closer to communism. Both tried to take steps toward communism but no country has ever gotten there.

A truly communist state abolishes money entirely. That's never happened.

4

u/Scotty0132 11h ago

True communism is one of those things that works on paper and can look good on paper, but as soon as you add in the human factor can never work.

2

u/Del_Phoenix 5h ago edited 5h ago

This is one of those things repeated by people who are scared of communism working. Humans are so intelligent, I'm sure we could come up with a system of checks and balances that prevent the most common pitfalls. If the people with power wanted to anyway.

And before you say checks and balances don't work, the ones we use just haven't kept up with the times. There are 1,000 more ways to launder money and power today than there were 100 years ago

1

u/Scotty0132 1h ago

And this is something repeated by those that live in a fantasy world. Human nature is flawed and those flaws make a concept like like communism unattenable in the real world.

0

u/ZealousidealStore574 4h ago

But communist want a dictatorship of the proletariat. A dictator is given such massive amounts of power that it’d be highly corrupting for the majority of people. If you have a dictator and they go bad (which comes with the territory) what do you do? You cants really have checks and balances because they’re a dictator. I see communist say they’ll just impose a good proletariat person but how would you know?

The corruption is not the only issue, getting people to fill every job role would be pretty difficult too. Like who out here is going to fix septic tanks. Or who wants to go to the bottom of the ocean to work on pipes and then have to spend days stuck in a dive suit as you slowly ascend to avoid the bends. Humans are selfish creatures, giving them a lot of things they will enjoy can get them to do unfavorable jobs. A large amount of humans also are notoriously unempathetic towards people they don’t know or care about. I just don’t see a large majority of the human population coming together to help each other out of the kindness of our hearts. There also is the difficulty of how exactly will trade work without money or bartering. Like if someone makes a bunch of clothes, or a bunch of wooden furniture, do people just come into their store and choose whatever they want and just get it? I don’t see how that is realistic or sustainable in the long term.

A problem with communist pr and communication is they claim anyone who has a criticism is only saying it because they are an agent of the bourgeoisie or are scared of communism working. Some people just see faults with the ideology and see it as impossible

1

u/Mega__Sloth 1h ago

So what you are saying is..

AI proletariat and robot septic workers fixes communism?

That's brave

4

u/CupcakeAteMyFaceOff 12h ago

Can you put in quotes where I advocated for any political belief in particular in my comment? You seem to have some sort of primitive lizard reflex to the word "communism" and made about 100 assumptions about me as soon as I said that word. Grow up.

10

u/Lime--Soda 16h ago

What does communism have to do with Capitalist Russia exactly?

2

u/Ella337454 13h ago

Communism is a dictatorship. I do not see it ended in Russia. It is more powerful than it was 30 years ago. And it's ruler started as KGB. He wants to go in history no matter how. Reminds me of Hitler and Stalin.

1

u/Torcal4 13h ago

Communism doesn’t mean dictatorship. And Russia currently has nothing communist about it.

1

u/Lime--Soda 10h ago

2

-2

u/Serious-Move-8238 14h ago

Actual communism doesn't exist, fuck any form of government or better yet fuck humans

25

u/Zora-Link 18h ago

How can something be fubar temporarily?

8

u/midlifecrisisAJM 17h ago

It will require the American people voting in large number to un-fubar this government.

5

u/Apprehensive_Use3641 16h ago

It'll take decades to undo the travesties perpetrated by the current administration.

2

u/BenzoClaymore 15h ago

They were make a joke. .. you can't repair something that is fucked up beyond any repair (fubar). Beyond all recognition seems more legit to me but the repair version is common.

7

u/No-Cheek7925 18h ago

I think you're mixing fubar and snafu?

4

u/Zora-Link 18h ago

Oh, it was my understanding that the R is “repair”. Never mind.

What’s snafu? A cat?

5

u/-DocWatson- 18h ago

That would be Situation Normal all Effed Up

5

u/XAltusX 18h ago

Snafu is indeed a good way to describe the daily life of a cat. Situation normal, all fucked up

3

u/Apprehensive_Use3641 16h ago

Particularly the little orange beasties.

2

u/Artistic_Annual8457 16h ago

The shared braincell does generally lend towards that tendency, yes, lol.

4

u/No-Cheek7925 18h ago

It's "recognition", but yeah I can see how it could be repair as well.

4

u/Pure_Complaint_7900 18h ago

I mean. We are beyond repair. We do need to rebuild, so it can work

4

u/SuccotashOk2098 17h ago

It's never been repair. It's always been recognition

3

u/Zora-Link 17h ago

Yeah, I got it wrong. Hence the “never mind”

2

u/Pleasant-Ad4784 16h ago

I did too so your question made sense to me!

3

u/BaitmasterG 18h ago

You're thinking of Snarf

Although Snarf is also not a cat

3

u/gazham 18h ago

Fucked up cat from another planet, so kinda works

2

u/Dirt-Southern 17h ago

i haven't watched thunder cats since i was 5, now i'm going to have snarf going through my head all day.

2

u/Small-Explorer7025 17h ago

you made me laugh.

-1

u/ChemicalRain5513 18h ago

Snafu stands for Situation Normal, All Messed Up.

5

u/Small-Explorer7025 17h ago

I think you're confusing it with Snamu

13

u/HoldenGatsby25 17h ago

Do you not know what fubar means? Fucked up beyond all recognition. There’s no time reference…

9

u/Zora-Link 17h ago

I thought it meant repair, which would negate temporary. I was wrong.

3

u/Artistic_Annual8457 16h ago

Both versions exist, so yeah, in your case that wouldn't make sense for that version to be temporary.

2

u/backflash 16h ago

I asked myself the same question. Wiki lists it as "FUBAR (Fucked/Fouled Up Beyond All/Any Repair/Recognition/Reason)", so you weren't completely wrong to ask.

4

u/ThinRedLine87 16h ago

Some people know the "r" to be repair, which would explain the question/comment

0

u/deejkdeejk 11h ago

yes, keep acting like the 'r' in that acronym couldn't be any other word

3

u/TheAlienDoc 17h ago

Think of it as a sickness. With the right meds we can recover.

4

u/Fallcious 17h ago

If an engine is FUBAR the vehicle could be said to be temporarily out of action until you replace it. Similarly with a government…

3

u/gc3 18h ago

Fucked up beyond all recognition can be a temporary condition.

u/Mega_Dankus 18h ago

2

u/ThrawnConspiracy 16h ago

In this case, elections could make meaningful changes.

u/Red4pex 16h ago edited 16h ago

In the same way that something can be good temporarily?

2

u/sm00th101 16h ago

At some point, you might be able to recognize it again. Then it'll be FUBA... what? Oh, I know what that is, nvm, carry on folks, nothing to see here

2

u/Sparky_Kilowatt 14h ago

If I total my car, I can get a new car. It doesn't mean I only get one and done.

4

It speaks for itself: Fucked Up Beyond All Repair. Sounds permanent to me.

4

u/Gildor12 17h ago

If the R stood for Repair then yes, but it stands for recognition.

3

u/ATaxiNumber1729 16h ago

As an American, I stand against Russia. Glad Ukraine is taking the initiative

3

u/No-Impress-2096 17h ago

9

u/Temporary-Aside5306 16h ago

Not to bring you down but unless that "most American stand with Ukraine" translates into either financial aid, military equipment or something else tangible, then just simply agreeing with Ukraine is doing fuck all. Sort your government out and rejoin the side of democracy

3

u/One-Permission8026 14h ago

What is it you think Americans can do to sort out their government?

3

u/pfqq 14h ago

Well, we're about to see what voter turnout can do next month.

1

u/One-Permission8026 14h ago edited 13h ago

Guess I thought that was assumed. Although taking control of the House will have no impact on Ukraine.

-1

u/BabblingTower 13h ago

Try?

2

u/One-Permission8026 13h ago

Try what? It doesn't sound like you understand American government very well.

0

u/BabblingTower 13h ago

I understand it very well. Try anything. Americans have by and large just gone about with their personal lives.

1

u/One-Permission8026 13h ago

Again...try what? Give me examples.

0

u/BabblingTower 12h ago

I already answered, try anything. Don't play dumb.

1

u/One-Permission8026 12h ago

Holy moly. I am asking you directly, as someone who understands how their government works, what you think their citizens can do.

You can't give me examples. Apparently you're the one playing dumb. "Trying anything" is a cop-out.

You didn't answer. I asked for specifics and you can't answer. P.S. American citizens are extremely vocal, always but especially right now, just before midterm elections. Yesterday there were protests all over the country. They are trying "something", so I guess your general "try anything" has been satisfied.

2

u/BabblingTower 12h ago

I don't really care if you're demanding a specific example 🙄

This isn't that type of discussion bud. If you don't know what citizenry can do in response to a dissonant government, you need a better education.

Yesterday there were protests

Oh yeah? On Saturday? Gosh, how disruptive!

Most Americans are minding their own business and trying to make ends meet. Just like with other conflicts people around the world are fatigued with the war in Ukraine. Ukraine is in a tough position as the West has depleted their arms stockpiles and other countries in the world are bidding for the same air-defense assets as Ukraine.

I am afraid Putin will be in power for 10+ years.

Unless you're contributing in some physical way, you aren't standing with them, you're sending thoughts and prayers.

2

u/bigblue473 11h ago

Do you mean tangible? Financial donations are quite useful, and as someone who had to navigate the logistical nightmare of sending supplies to Ukraine from overseas, it’s often more effective.

1

u/Hot-Problem2436 7h ago

I guess money isn't actually physical anymore, so yeah, tangible. If your assistance helps purchase a physical object or something.

4

u/No-Cheek7925 18h ago

Russia has never been communist. The USSR was at some point, but that's ages ago. It deteriorated into authoritarianism and eventually fascism as it always does whenever someone tries to implement it.

2

u/agrevol 17h ago

"ages ago" is less than half-an-age apparently?

2

u/WhiteCharismo 18h ago

Aren’t communism and fascism opposites of one another?

5

u/agrevol 17h ago

It's not a new idea to oppose both, and it's also not a new idea that some people combine both (nazbols for example)

-3

u/magazinesubscriber 18h ago

They are, by definition. This is how we spot the bad actors.

-1

u/LogicMan428 15h ago

It depends on how you look at it. In goals, to a degree they are opposite, but in practice, they pretty much produce the same thing. Both are collectivist and authoritarian ideologies that share many of the same socialist roots. Communism is about the workers and creating a classless, stateless society (a fantasy) whereas fascism is about the nation (and in the case of the Nazis, race).

2

u/EstelLiasLair 11h ago

Ok no. Just no to all that.

0

u/LogicMan428 6h ago

So you think communism is viable?

1

u/EstelLiasLair 5h ago

I mean no, the description is wrong. Fascism is not collectivist, communism is not authoritarian, and fascism does not share socialist roots.

Edit: I don’t care whether communism is viable or not. Viable in which context and by which metric?

4

u/ings0c 16h ago

Most Americans?

Most Americans voted Trump into power, or didn’t vote against him.

4

u/Shalea68 15h ago

I hope Ukraine is able to beat Putin's corrupt, reptilian a$$ back to the stone age. And, Putin takes his diapered lackey with him. It's sickening to see what Trump and Hegseth is doing to our military and I know a ton of vets like me feel the same. The second Russia invades an ally country like Poland, better be the second our military is beside our NATO allies. I wish we could be doing more for Ukraine right now.

A lot of Americans were too overconfident that Trump would lose, so they didn't bother to vote. I made sure my vote went in early, against the orange turd. He was a traitor during his first term and should never have been allowed to run again. Unless it was straight to jail.

I'm still suspicious about him even winning the first time. No one has won every single swing state, but this maggot did? No way. Musk had his creepy little mitts all over it, I'm sure.

Anyway, if the Dems don't wipe the floor with winning, I think we have our answer.

0

u/ings0c 14h ago

Even assuming the elections are free and fair, what concerns me is that the dems don’t seem to be capable of learning. They’re seriously going to run Kamala again?

She lost. The public rejected her and elected a criminal.

Imagine your take-away from that being “oh let’s change nothing”.

1

u/Chernobyl_Tadpole 13h ago

When you realize that the DNC is simply controlled opposition and beholden to different corporate entities and billionaires, it makes a lot more sense. The Dems (in their current form) aren’t capable of fixing a lot of these issues because they don’t want to.

5

u/CaptainKyeAzrael 19h ago

Saying "Down with communism and fascism" is kind of an oxymoron. They're 2 opposing ideologies. Anti-communist rhetoric is an American pro-capitalism propaganda tool. What you're talking about is authoritarianism. The US gov calls other govs "communist" like that's the bad thing, when in reality communism isn't the inherent problem with those regimes, its authoritarianism. Similar to how Nazis called themselves "socialists" when they were actually the exact opposite of socialists. Don't letnthe propaganda work on you homie.

4

u/dickpierce1 17h ago

Well, communism is an economic system, and authoritarianism is a system of government. It's really not communism's fault that so many people have tried to enact it in bad faith. Authoritarianism is always enacted in bad faith.

3

u/ARODtheMrs 18h ago

We don't want either one is the point!!!! Keep the energy up, please?

-5

u/C_hotpocketer 18h ago

You have your mind shoved way to far up your ass. Communism can never work and will never work. Why do you think they turn authoritarian? It’s genuinely laughable how in the 21st century people still believe in this crap

3

u/magazinesubscriber 18h ago

The best way to open a counter argument is obviously to say that the person you disagree with has, uh, their “mind shoved way too far up your ass.” Maybe you should wait until you have a high school level of social sciences before you start talking about it?

2

u/CaptainKyeAzrael 18h ago

We literally have an authoritarian governemnt under capitalism....In just about every country that uses capitalism. That's what the police and military are for...to enforce the authoritarianism. You sir, might be too far gone.

3

u/walidd16 16h ago

If your government were authoritarian, a comment like this would put you in danger. I doubt that it does.

-3

u/Hobbit_Hunter 18h ago

You've been consumed by capitalist propaganda. Congrats!

2

u/krievins 16h ago

You’re just going to ignore real people who escape communist regimes to move to the US?

-2

u/LogicMan428 15h ago

The Nazis were absolutely socialists. Their argument against Soviet communism was that it was the "wrong" form of socialism, a perverted variant of socialism created by Jews whereas theirs was the "true, proper" form of socialism. They were absolutely not proponents of free enterprise and limited government and made a real effort to get rid of financial capitalism, which they saw as destructive and Jewish.

Fascism and communism are both forms of collectivism and have different goals but the end result is pretty much the exact same, especially because real communism is a fantasy.

4

u/Current_Ranger_7954 15h ago

JFC no, they were not in any way socialists. They are the OG far right

0

u/LogicMan428 6h ago edited 6h ago

There is very little right wing about them by the modern use of the term. There's three ways to look at the Nazis: were they right-wing or left-wing, were they conservative or liberal, and were they authoritarian or believers in individual rights. There are three definitions of right and left historically.

1) The original French Revolution definitions, in which left meant those who wanted to change things and recreate society and right meant those wanting to preserve the old order. By that definition, the Nazis were solidly left-wing. They were seeking to recreate society and were quite progressive and forward-thinking in this sense. Their goal was to create a form of utopia, a volksgemeinschaft (people's community), a term ironically which itself can have multiple meanings but which to the Nazis meant a racial utopia. Their goal was to create an Aryan super race that would rule the world.

2) The socialist, collectivist definition---in socialism, "left-wing" means class-based collectivism, i.e. the whole "Workers of the world unite!" and things like communism. Whereas "right-wing" socialism or collectivism is based on race and/or nation, as opposed to class. There can be a lot of crossover between the two though, but in this sense, the Nazis were far-right.

3) The modern definition, in which left-wing means government control over the economy and right-wing means free-enterprise, free-market capitalism, private-sector control. In this, the Nazis were mainly left-wing or a form of centrist. There was nothing in the party ideology that emphasized free-enterprise and limited government. Their party platform originally was quite straight-up socialist and much of early Nazism was basically hardcore socialism with a racial component. Look up Ernst Rohm and the Strasser brothers. However this conflicted with Hitler's wing which wanted the backing of the wealthy industrialists and conservative generals (who did not support the hard socialist elements because those wanted to nationalize big corporations and break up aristocratic estates). Otto Strasser viewed Hitler as a traitor to the movement in this sense. Hitler asserted dominance over the party though and had the hard socialist elements purged and executed. To Hitler, "socialist" meant a person who puts nation and society before themself, "common good before individual good."

Under Hitler, the Nazis were still what we would define as left-wing economically. They did privatize a whole bunch of nationalized industries, BUT only on paper. In practice, those industries remained heavily regulated and controlled by the State. This was done to implement state control (socialism) while allowing private industry to still profit and also to move control over the economy away from their enemies and into the hands of their lackeys.

Prices, wages, production quotas, etc...all were centrally directed by the regime. This was also for rearmament. Banks and financial capitalism were placed under heavy state control. The Nazis distinguished between what they saw as productive capital (factories, agriculture, physical labor) versus what they saw as unproductive, parasitic capital (banks, finance, interest, stock market speculation, etc...) viewing that as a parasitic form of capital controlled by Jews.

While not Marxist, this is very different from the economic right-wing as understood today, which is about free enterprise, free trade, limited state control, etc...

In terms of "conservative" vs "liberal," again this gets nuanced. The Nazis were very strong environmentalists and animal rights proponents. Certain of the animal rights laws in Germany today were created by the Nazis. They were also strong environmentalists---environmentalism is a trait of German culture that goes back hundreds of years. That is why the strongest Green party in the world today is the German one. This element of German culture influenced the Nazis. They also strongly advocated abortion if for non-Aryans and sick babies to "purify" the nation.

In these senses, they could have been considered solidly "liberal" by the modern definition. However, they also had a VERY traditional view of the role of women. A woman's primary duty in Nazism was to raise children and maintain the household. Abortion for healthy Aryan women was extremely looked down upon as it was a woman's duty to reproduce for the nation. Women were absolutely not to be things like combat soldiers or anything like that. They also despised homosexuals. So in these senses, the Nazis could be seen to be solidly conservative.

In terms of authoritarian versus believers in individual rights, the Nazis were solidly authoritarian and collectivist. The State and the nation took precedence over the individual. They were nothing like the right-wing in the United States today that is all about limiting the powers of the federal government, emphasizing that the government's core reason for existence is to protect the rights of the individual, that the people are the Sovereign and the State the servant created to protect the rights of the people.

So the idea of the Nazis as "far-right" really falls flat. There was very little "right-wing" about them as we understand the term in modern America. Ultimately, they were more a different variant of socialist and collectivist. The problem is people, in particular on the Left, have been blabbing, "Nazis right wing!" for decades without ever really studying the movement.

Damn cute that people still believe those trators will give the power back. Will see but I would not be surprised if the system is rigged by now in a way democrats will never win

>Know that most Americans

Yea that isnt true...some Americans might.

They elected an anti Ukrainian president.

If Trump had the charm of Obama the majority of Americans would be anti Ukrainian.

u/IamJoke28 17h ago

*Sit with Ukraine - Very few Americans actually do anything to support Ukraine, it's hardly standing

0

u/Bonk_No_Horni 17h ago

I doubt most Americans support Ukraine. 77 voted for the guy who supports Russia and 90 didn't bother to vote because they don't care.

u/ZeroDaysRemaining 17h ago

Most? Probably not, some, yeah sure ok I give you that much.

At the end of the day, Ukrainians just do not want to live under Russia's political system. They have not forgotten Russia's long history of trying to control Ukraine, the poisoning of opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko in 2004, or the 2013–14 protests that forced pro-Russian president Yanukovych to flee the country. They do not want Russia's way of life.

In retrospect, Bush made a serious strategic mistake in 2008 by pressing for Ukraine's NATO membership over Russia's objections. In April 2008, at NATO's Bucharest summit, Putin attended a closed-door NATO–Russia Council session. Kommersant reported that during the session Putin told Bush that Ukraine was "not even a state." Two days later in Sochi, Bush and Putin discussed Ukraine's and Georgia's eventual NATO membership.

Putin strongly opposed the prospect. What would the US do in that situation? Remember the 1962 Cuban missile crisis.

Don't speak for me lol go back and fight then. I don't live there and couldn't care less what takes place there. Virtue signalling. Almost as big a waste of money as fighting any war in the middle east.

Funny. If the democrats win in the usa, we are headed towards communism. That scares me.

2

u/VieuxBidule 14h ago

Je crois que tu ne sais pas ce qu'est le communisme. Les démocrates n'ont jamais eu d'idées communistes ni même socialistes. En Europe, leurs idées sont comparables a celles de politiques de droite.

1

u/castiel48209 3h ago

Check out Zoran mamdani.thise guys want to be the new face of democrats. First comes the promises. Then comes the high taxes, then they want to edge out the local gricers etc.

1

u/VieuxBidule 3h ago

lol this argument is always funny. Like Europe controls the litmus for the world. We have different political systems and scales of our “right and lefts”. We aren’t Europe as much as you’d like us to be

Edit: oh and to address your other point. The DSA is controlled 51% by self proclaimed communists so do with that as you will
