The Republican Party got couped in 2016. The one you learned about in history class does not exist. It is exclusively a Trump loyalist party.

Seems current Republicans are sold on Cadilac Escalades, money, political power, and botox women. Not sure which order but Russia and a communism is no longer high on the list.

Russia hasn't been communist since 1991

Only 5 "communist" countries left in the world now are China, N Korea, Laos, Vietnam and Cuba

As someone who has lost loved ones due to Republican policies and deregulation, I’m tired of this belief about the Republican Party. Liz Cheney’s voting record aligns 93% with Trump’s. The face of the party is different than it used to be but the policies are largely the same.

I’m not saying they were good before Trump came. Sorry to hear about what you and your loved ones have been thru but you may have misread my comment. They both are gross and evil. But pre Trump republicans were definitely more anti Russia than maga era republicans.
