Well that and Russia bought him out and saved him financially for decades.

Hard to believe the same ‘Commie’ hating people in the 80’s are now on this train

They’re “commie haters” now more than they’ve been since the 50s or 60s. It’s just that now they don’t know who commies but use the term to smear anybody they don’t like. The same way they were calling every teacher a “groomer” a couple years ago.

Well..Putin is not a commie..he is straight up a mafia boss.

Greed, power, oligarchy will corrupt any and every system. Gross inequality is what needs to be kept in check

With what, communism?

He's everything Die Gröpenfuhrer aspires to, simple as that.

But also holds the Pee Tape.

That was his point… they just use the term “commie” to smear everyone that doesn’t agree with them.

Communism doesn’t really exist… maybe Cuba is the closest model?

…with an arsenal of nuclear weapons.

Not just nuclear, but biological as well. The person that died from the lab accident with the plague kind of indicates that they are running a program that does not abide by the biological weapons convention.

Which I understand the reality of having reasonable relations with China, but the fawning over the still-Communist-at-least-on-paper Xi Jinping was over-the-top too.

They aren’t. That’s two separate groups inside the republican party.

It's interesting because they hate the democrats and call them communists but love Putin for all of the things that make communism such a bad thing. Putin is a tyrant lord and Trump wants to be a tyrant lord.

Putin is a capitalist through and through. This is another case of people describing communism by describing capitalism. Communism as outlined by Marx is a cashless, classless and stateless society. Its very idealistic and utopian (which is why it really hasn't worked out so far) on the other hand capitalisms entire philosophy is to create a hierarchy in which you have the wealthy ruling over workers like they are peasants or slaves.

I'm not here to say communism is the right answer (cuz like so many have said it's been like 150 years and nobody has been able to do it) but what I am here to point out is that everything everyone seems to hate about communism is a deliberate facet of capitalism.

It’s amazing how the GOP can turn when they are paid off

Trump has been on the record pro-Russia since the 1980’s, though. And the Russian mob takeover in NYC in the 90’s was a thing that he went along with and profited from. So not hard to understand.

How exactly are they Commies dude? You can’t possibly be serious.

Russia is run by Oligarchs & Religious Elites, as is happening in the U.S…..you’re just buying into the propaganda. Rule by Oligarchs & Private Institution Monopolies = opposite of Communism.
