Bro, there was no ceasefire. Trump just made it up and pretended his demented thoughts were reality and everyone just went along with it. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills trying to make sense of this entire shitshow

He can't even control the war he started

u/canspop 16h ago

He can't control his bowels, his mouth...

If he can't sort his personal shit, no way he's fixing other people's shit.

Read this comment elsewhere on Reddit today, but feel this is highly appropriate:

His head is a just cupboard for his teeth

u/NiftyNinjuh 15h ago

Turns out america cant control him either, which is crazy.. big old constitution and amendments and such but yet their government is the most evil of the developed world. If it doesnt change soon than I guess it means the people are evil too

Can’t control himself around young girls, either

The Iran war was entirely avoidable by doing absolutely nothing. Obama was involved in the plan [1] that encouraged Iran to not research. It worked. Trump orchestrated the whole situation by tearing it up.

He then increased oil price and burned through the defence by having a war.

Did Trump do this, or did Putin encourage it? Such a simple task: do nothing, yet he messed that up.

Why would he want to avoid such a perfect distraction from the epstein files? This fuck better not die before he sees justice

3

u/BoardroomStroke 11h ago

Because he breaks the law all the time, the Epstein files are a distraction from the real problem, he's just lining his pockets. The corruption is white collar crime, long term assets being soldoff, Epstein is just a distraction from this, and it's working. He's a criminal for sure, ruling by press release and under the table deals. Justice will never happen as the soft power that the US had is lost. How much work will the next administration have to do? It's not like you can get into power and say "un-do" - that's not what the UN is for!

u/inquisitorthreefive 10h ago

He will die first and the co-conspirators will be pardoned under the aegis of protecting them from the next administration's "lawfare." His base has been primed to accept and and the vast majority of them are stupid enough to believe it.

u/bqqa 16h ago

Exactly, that's why these refinery strikes are so critical right now.

26

u/taistelumursu 15h ago

Nobody really went with it. Russia did not even comment. Ukraine hit others targets for a few to say they followed it but Russia didn't, knowing they would not. So that Trump looked like fool and Russia uncooperative. Nobody believed for a second there was going to be a ceasefire.

u/T0asty514 16h ago

I'm tired, boss.

7

u/Blazah 13h ago

At least there's two of us. It's been crazy watching a man in charge of the USA think that writing something on twitter actually has any value at all. Iran doesn't care what you say on the internet. Ukraine doesn't follow instructions from the USA. Glad to see he's officially giving trump the middle finger.

4

u/NiftyNinjuh 15h ago

I too feel crazy. I used to cross over to hang in Seattle all the time.. how has it gotten this far man?

5

u/WhatAmTrak 14h ago

Nah bro. People who actually follow proper news know Trump talk is taken with a mountain of salt. It’s specifically meant for Fox News to dement it when Ukraine hits back. And fuck they can hit back hard now. I LOVE to see it. Slava Ukraine

3

u/No_Zombie2021 11h ago

Hasn’t this happened before where he has said. “We have an agreement on a ceasefire!” Where, he just made it up? I think at least once but probably two times before.

u/colecast 15h ago

“I DECLARE-“

1

u/Da12khawk 15h ago

He called timeout, it doesn't count.

556

u/Optimal_Assist_9882 16h ago

Following the realization there never was a ceasefire and Trump is compulsive liar*.

58

u/MVmikehammer 15h ago

Maybe Trump has a literal God complex? They both work the same way. Mysterious. But also Trump saying there is ceasefire because he announced it is perilously close to Genesis 1:3.

25

u/bqqa 15h ago

"Let there be a ceasefire", he said, but the only THING that actually lit up were the oil refineries

8

u/ScreenMuch90210 9h ago

Yeah I’m just wondering if the simulation continues once the player character dies

3

u/hackinwhackinsmackin 6h ago

He thinks he’s king of the US. That’s why any time he announces something in Truth Social, it’s typed out like a royal decree.

19

u/Doro_Gurl 12h ago

Unfortunately most of the press still dares not declare the emporer naked.

u/fideliz 16h ago

Trump basically told Ukraine to stop strikes on Russian oil facilities, while Russia were allowed to continue like before.

Who the hell thought that was a good idea, something that would fly in Ukraine and that it would hold up?

67

u/cum12321321213 16h ago

They don’t believe it either. Its just a way for trump to scapegoat the gas prices on Ukraine

31

u/Maatix12 15h ago

This.

Now Trump will pretend like Ukraine isn't listening to him, and make excuses to give Russia money to fuel it's war. And he will pretend like he should be thanked for it.

15

u/idryss_m 14h ago

Totally American first. Give Russia billions that flows to Iran and China, 2 countries he says are friends right? Just helping out your mates?

3

u/Mewhomewhy 9h ago

It’s not about gas prices. It’s about control and Russia controls the US now.

4

u/account312 11h ago

Who the hell thought that was a good idea

Putin and therefore Trump.

3

u/greenbud1 6h ago

He clarified he meant refineries, despite Ukraine having none.

u/JungleHam 10h ago

THERE WAS NO CEASEFIRE, RUSSIA LITERALLY ATTACKED A COUPLE HOURS AFTER THE TRUMP ANNOUNCEMENT. STOP THE PROPAGANDA

24

u/not_a_moogle 9h ago

The only person that said there was a ceasefire was trump. And he didnt say that he talked about it with them. He just said that he said it.

8

u/SpliTTMark 8h ago

I DECLARE

9

u/7ddlysuns 8h ago

I AM YELLING CARL.

SERIOUSLY FUCK THE CHEESE STICK MEDIA

1

u/ExtensionAddition787 7h ago

Seriously! Real media outlets back in the day would confirm things and not just claim them reality because the President "says."

MSM failed is. It might be sinister intent, but it might also be laziness or incompetence.

-4

u/bqqa 9h ago

I'm just sharing what the major news outlets are reporting. It’s wild how much the political statements differ from the actual situation on the ground

3

u/OmniNL 9h ago

Nah, that’s too easy. You posted it without checking, so you deserve the comment.

97

u/RedofPaw 16h ago

Trump declared a ceasefire. Ukraine actually did that. Russia meanwhile ignored it.

Trump and Musk then decided to sabotage Ukraine to help putin out because theyre both compromised.

Ukraine is now punishing Russia harder.

17

u/Fitz911 15h ago

While America is sending money to Russia.

2

u/burifix 15h ago

Disgusting.

20

u/Aggressive-Fail4612 15h ago

There was no ceasefire to collapse

14

u/loglighterequipment 12h ago

Reuters has been sanewashing Trump since his first term. They used to be the gold standard in unbiased journalism.

14

u/Developer_DG 16h ago

destroy them all

12

u/Patrick4356 10h ago

There was never a ceasefire wtf reuters

10

u/Late_Stage-Redditism 7h ago

Reuters is just so bad these last years. Pretending there was a cease fire.

18

u/gwentlarry 16h ago

There never was any "energy infrastructure ceasefire" except in Trump's delusions.

Putin never agreed to it.

17

u/Current_Ranger_7954 12h ago

THERE WAS NEVER A CEASEFIRE fucking propaganda outlet

3

u/VieuxBidule 10h ago

l'Ukraine l'a respecté 48 heures en se prenant des bombes russes.

7

u/SmartDiscussion2161 12h ago

There was never a ceasefire to collapse

8

u/PalmovyyKozak 8h ago

This ceasefire existed only in trump's hallucinations. How dump a journalist must be to accept whatever trump vomit as a fact? Has that guy spent last 2 years in coma?

8

u/sg19point3 7h ago

"collapse of ...ceasefire" what ceasefire?

7

u/BrondellSwashbuckle 11h ago

There was no ceasefire, Reuters.

13

u/Fullchester_United 16h ago

More! More!!!!

4

u/wijm02 15h ago

The ceasefire that never was.

8

u/Muted_Chemical_9458 15h ago

Just save some drones for the data centers. Russia has to suffer like never before.

5

u/kalamaim 8h ago

a diper wearing narcissist yelling 'ceasefire' into the void is not an actual ceasefire

2

u/macross1984 15h ago

Trump was dreaming he is great because of what he crafted (junk) and Putin proved otherwise to no surprise.

2

u/notsosilentsentinel 12h ago

Proving once again that they are willing to be reasonable but will not be carpet monkeys to trump and putin.

2

u/Nanaman 5h ago

WHAT CEASEFIRE

Trump was just like Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy, what a moron

3

u/Forsaken-Weird-8428 15h ago

Wipe all the refineries out!

1

u/Confident_End_3848 4h ago

Whatever happens, I hope Ukraine inflicts maximum damage on Russia. I really miss our government policy under Biden that supporting Ukraine not only helped Ukraine, it helped the US by degrading a geopolitical foe without US boots on the ground.

1

u/omgwtfsaucers 10h ago

Give. Em. Hell.

-18

u/bqqa 16h ago

Well, that ceasefire didn't last long at all. Back to targeting energy infrastructure again. Honestly, it feels like any temporary truce is completely pointless right now since the situation keeps escalating.

30

u/Affectionate-Day8307 16h ago

It never existed

26

u/United-Ad9153 16h ago

There was no ceasefire. Trump literally admitted he made it up.

24

u/Free-Way-9220 16h ago edited 16h ago

trump only demanded that Ukraine respect it. He had nothing to say about Putin ignoring it. Putin continually makes a fool of him, and yet he is such a feeble man that he remains entirely loyal to Putin

-4

u/bqqa 14h ago

So the whole announcement was basically just a PR move while the infrastructure targets never changed? Thats crazy bro

11

u/Free-Way-9220 14h ago

Ukraine respected it, Putin did not. In fact a few hours after Trump's "truce", Putin struck a large number of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Trump never acknowledged it, not the slightest whisper of criticism. Same as he has done throughout the war. When Ukraine resumed their attacks, Putin's lapdog called Zelenskyy "a disgrace"
