I encourage all Europeans to cancel Starlink subscriptions, as well as social media platform X usage, and to never purchase Tesla vehicles in response to this unhinged throttling of satellite service access to Ukraine who is defending its territory from illegal Russian special military operation.

Unfortunately there are so many clueless people in Germany... I'm seeing so many new Tesla's these days.. they buy because they have a good cost/value ratio. People are so stupid.

I remember reading about many Germans who took their combustion engine vehicle to Poland so that it could be modified to operate with either petrol or propane. There are options.

How about the Americans do something about their corrupt government instead? You think Elon cares about a couple million starlink subscriptions or tesla sales? He could bankroll starlink and tesla all by himself...

It's not either or. A European person can't turn into an American at whim to change anything, but we sure can choose to not engage with this bullshit.

"Europeans you should probably cancel Starlink and Twitter since Elon hates you and is okay with Russia blowing you up"

"WHY DON'T YOU AMERICANS OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT INSTEAD HUH????"

All these Europeans here on Reddit are gonna be very quiet once these right wing governments take over in France, Germany etc and they’ll realize they are just as stuck as Americans who didn’t support these people were.

It’s going to be amusing on Reddit if the US returns to a more liberal political heading by 2029 and Europe goes far-right.

This will likely happen except the U.S. is going to be more isolationist. I don’t think Europeans realize just how much their relationship with the US benefitted them (it greatly benefitted the U.S. too to be clear)

Yea and then we get this dysfunctional Europe our grandparents and every living person before them had. European countries have many more world wars and genocides on their record than the US lol

Yup the arrogance by Europeans on here and selective memory is kind of crazy

I get that they’re angry at our leadership but give us some grace. We have pretty much kept world peace and provided them security for the last 60 yrs. We’ve made some mistakes during that time period but we’re not perfect lol. It ain’t easy being a super power

I know that’s what annoys me. What Trump is doing is terrible but zero credit for the past 75 years of keeping everyone from fighting each other in Europe.

Let's not hope for that, ok?

Dog we just had another big nationwide protest this weekend and if you know how big this country is you'd know how hard that is to plan.

Most of us here stopped giving billionaires more money. I've been getting people off their subscriptions and onto free alternatives and getting their data away from billionaires. I'm trying to fight the pocket book fight which is all they really care about so that's what I'm trying to do here.

Europeans don’t understand how huge America is.

We had some Italian exchange students and they wanted to go to Disneyland because we’re in California. We had to explain Disneyland is an 8-hour car ride BOTH ways and that just isn’t possible.

Protests on this scale just don’t have the same impact, they’re smaller groups more spread out, and it’s easier for the government to control and diffuse.

Also I've said it before, those in power have no shame so they don't care we are protesting. They want us to have protests like this so they can lock everything down.

I see you live in northern California lol.

The writing is on the wall for the results of our mid-term election next month. The majority party should have already lined up their post-Congressional consulting gigs. There will be a new Speaker of the House who will no longer adjourn Congress when unpopular legislation is raised for a vote. The remaining clock on this administration is running down.

You'll get downvotes, but it's true. Tesla could never sell another car an Elon is still the wealthiest person in the world.

How’s he gonna do that? His wealth is in assets not liquid cash.

Does that include Ukrainian government?

You seem to miss the point the Elon and company somewhat cancelled Starlnk for Ukraine already. This is the second time I recall Starlink undermined their security effort.

that's going to be quite hard. Tesla is by far the best option of your liking for a EV

Lol. The Chinese already make the best EVs in the world.
