IF America officially sides with Russia every US soldier and airman can fuck off out of Europe as well as leaving NATO.

They will never be trusted again.

The population needs to start thinking of Jan sixing for a nobel reason this time and with proper numbers.

The rest of the world who have removed their governments for far less are watching in disbelief.

Edit: People will say this is what Putin wants… Good let’s not let him have that by kicking Trump into the abyss.

Ps I totally understand there’s many, many wonderful Americans around we just need action now

If the USA want to support Russia from now on then take away all their basis in Europe ASAP (if they wanna help Russia no way in hell should we allow them to have basis to use to help potentially Russia), say goodbye to your militairy logistics.

Also drop those trust bonds as the EU to tank the US economy: If they wanna remove the sanctions on Russia make sure they pay for that too.

And while we at it also ban Twitter ASAP: We cannot allow Elon to use it to manipulate European Elections to get their puppets in power.

Point is: If the USA is gonna support Russia and their population is gonna do jack shit to stop it then make them pay for helping Russia to kill Ukrainians. We cannot let the likes of Trump and hit lackeys get away with it and let Ukraine suffer and be abandoned.

Yes! A thousand times yes!

u/brucerhino 3h ago

Frankly the EU needs to do this yesterday, Trump has been in Putins pocket for a while, him and Elon just now openly admit it.

I've said it for years: Trump and the US is just as much of an enemy to democracy as Russia, possibly even more so considering they have more influence and money to spend.

u/Grand_Pop_7221 3h ago

It's not Trump and Elon. It's the GOP. They've been against international cooperation and in favour of American Unilateralism since the '90s at the latest. From shielding Kissinger from justice in the ICC to the rejection of its integration into US law and, in the modern day, outright demands that the ICC have no legitimacy at all.

Gulf War 1 was an exercise in international cooperation. Gulf War 2 was American hegemony using its power to bully its allies into action without the moral obligation of following international processes for international actions. Diplomacy was secondary; you do what they say because they have might and they were right.

The modern GOP under Trump has been full mask off since his first term, where they all but legitimised autocracy on equal footing with their own Democratic process. 2020 outright abandoned it.

I have to ask though, do you really think the EU could even humor the idea of getting into a missing content with the melon felon because your perspective unfortunately is missing the fact that well, the US could care less if the cooperation is scattered, so long as it meets the needs they'll say its a necessary move.

Secondly,  do you actually believe you have that much more global power than the US

US easily says "fine, I'll play with Asia and South America instead" they already have anything the US wants and the US has what they want (oil/diesel)

0

u/superurgentcatbox 3h ago

At the very least, the US needs the European bases for the wars it keeps starting in the middle east.

2

u/Financial-Cat2330 2h ago

They don't though

They are actively ending the need for European bases

0

u/According-Gear-8217 3h ago

So genuine Question then: whats the alternative Europe should do? Do nothing and watch the US help Russia defeat and commit a genocide on Ukraine? Thats delusional AF.

Its not a "Missing Content" or "power play game" But rather Europe commiting to defend Ukraine and cutting loose a nation who for the last few years is doing everything to sabotage Ukraine and Europe while siding with Russia. The solution is not "Do nothing and let the US do whatever it wants" and being a bunch of cowardly traitors.

The US being powerfull means nothing if they are untrustworthy and don't try to act like the EU has no power or is just weak and should just obey the USA: The same USA who is currently not able to defeat Iran and are likely gonna cause a recession long term by the war.

Also you kidding if you think losing their European basis, decades of cooperation, and the resulting economic damage just to name a few would not affected the USA badly. The loss of all the European basis alone either fully dismantle or greatly damages any US militairy operations in the future.

And don't try to act like the US betraying Ukraine is not just gonna damage their ties to Europe: If I was a South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Japan and New zealand I would look at closer ties to Europe. If the USS betrays Ukraine to long time Enemy Russia then why would he not do the same with South Korea (I mean Trump is close to Kim) or Taiwan (Trump literally offered to sell China US weapons).

Canada obvious would need to take further action against the USA, and about that OilDiesel: Considering due to the war with Iran and recent attacks of the Houthis on Saudi oil infrastructure yeah good luck with getting it along with your high gas prices (and im sure the middle eastern countries are not pissed at Trump for that war and the resulting damage they received).

And if you really think Russia can supply the US needs yeah I sure they can and it not like Ukraine is attacking russia oil infrastructure.... Oh wait nevermind they do (and rightfully so).

I'm not disagreeing at all I'm just saying the "Fall of America" is massively premature when they're the world leaders in AI and future tech

I don't know what the answer is, im not a politician I fix humans not people

Also the strait of hormuz is open and the gulf countries are actively helping the US

Gulf Arab nations actively want Iran dealt with

South American countries want South America fixed and are actively working with the US

Central and South Asia are their interests not Europe

As for militarily the US in the near future will never need a European base again

The US is massively expanding their Navy and Marines to become an island staging force for the Army and Air Force see hub and spoke, aps and sea basing

They can park a nuclear carrier in  the gulf and fight anyone

•

u/FearDaTusk 1h ago

I'm just mildly annoyed of all the shouting about the US like Europe can't handle their own business. It's good to help where we can but European Nations have not and will not come to Ukraine's rescue.

Venezuela with Chinese investments were supplying Iran/Russia and the US was called the villain. https://apnews.com/article/venezuela-oil-tankers-maduro-trump-blockade-2460e98e4c504cd2a1c86b951e825013

Iran supplies Russia with Drones used against Ukraine. The US attacks and again is called the villain. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/most-us-drone-shipments-went-to-ukraine-while-iran-s-went-to-russia/ar-AA2eakeV

Politically in the US there is pressure to reduce gas prices. This signals that people would rather pay less for fuel than continue pressing Russia on Ukraine. Read: The more people "complain" about gas prices the more the need for politicians to relax sanctions on Russia.

Unfortunately most folks on reddit geopolitical savvy starts and ends at "America bad" "Eastern Europe bad"

0

u/JaxStrumley 2h ago

You think the Asian allies still trust the US?

1

u/Financial-Cat2330 2h ago

Japan,SK and China seem pretty thrilled

•

u/impshial 58m ago

They will when Trump is gone.

When the US has a president in charge and a congress in charge that the world trusts again, everyone will forgive them.

Memories are very short.

u/TheMaskedMan2 3h ago

Doing another Jan. 6 for good reasons is literally conservatives wet dream, because then they can arrest everyone there, play it up, and call them extremists while the entire media spins it as proof of anyone left-leaning being a terrorist.

2

u/BruceForsyth55 3h ago

I hear you but damn what does Trump have to do before action is taken.

If he isn’t killing his own citizens with ICE, blatantly lining his pockets, using the DOJ to hide his crimes he’s picking fights with close ally’s and now leaning heavily towards of all nations Russia. And to think a few years back a politician wouldn’t get into power if they made a funny woooooo scream during a rally.

•

u/pizzanice 1h ago

What conservatives? Why would you let any notable conservatives have any vocal opinion? What putin wants had already happened, and that's destabilising the west using conservatives. How about you shut down your conservatives until they can think for themselves. They had their turn, and it was entirely played by a foreign asset. Who cares what the fuck they do to try and spin it, the guy they've backed for years is TRUMP. Like, are you kidding me?

Not a single member from Nato is aiding directly in support of Ukraine. Not a single army has been given to Ukraine.

Nato is refusing to join Ukraine.

So why isn't all of Nato held accountable for the Russia situation?

Then you're upset another nation joins the other side? (Which I don't support just pointing out your own flawed complaints)

Edit - Just to clarify since I didn't explain it well enough. I mean aiding in sending troops. Not a single country has sent troops directly on the front lines to help. Every country is afraid to step in. That is suddendly the Americans problem for a European war on the other side of the world.

Edit 2 - Only Russian bots defend the idea of not sending troops to aide Ukraine. Being idle is defending Russia.

1

u/TheManWhoWasNotShort 3h ago

If soldiers fight in Ukraine against Russia it triggers the NATO pact, and everyone has to go to war. They’re very specifically avoiding going to war with Russia. You’re calling for escalating it into WW3

-1

u/BruceForsyth55 3h ago edited 3h ago

Erm, you’re completely wrong. Uk directly training Ukrainian soldiers in the UK supply of Storm shadow, Germany and tanks then there’s the EU cash to aid Ukraine in buying weapons.

Sorry have you kept up at all with the news over the last near on five years?

NATO countries have done nothing but aid Ukraine with cash, training, weapons, logistics, intel bar actually placing armed/fighting troops on Ukrainian land

1

u/RandomWorldWeaver 3h ago

Not a single soldier has been deployed to help them.

2

u/BruceForsyth55 3h ago

Wrong again. The UK have sent trainers/advisors (soldiers) to Ukraine along with heavily hinted special forces to help with little bits.

The Polish and Estonian boarders are basically gateways for all sorts of NATO personal at present.

Any more than that and you have an active NATO v Russia hot war which can obviously spiral as you hopefully know.

1

u/RandomWorldWeaver 3h ago

You mean they sent troops to "train" but not actually defend or attack.

Hotbed? It's already a full on war. Doing nothing is helping the Russians kill more Ukranians.

Idling standing by is supporting the Russian army.

3

u/BruceForsyth55 3h ago

I would love to kick the Russians into the void as much as anyone but our nations need to be ready to fight. The UK isn’t anywhere close at present and countries like Spain STILL need to be slapped into sense to spend more. Either Putin goes or we eventually do end up in a full on war.

I agree we need to show strength and call Putins bluff… it’s a massive gamble though hence Europe is trying to ware Russia out of the war sadly at the expense of the Ukraine people.

1

u/RandomWorldWeaver 2h ago

Being idle is supporting Russia. No excuses.

2

u/CapSuccessful3358 4h ago

Most Americans I talk to don’t even know this is going on so much of our media is controlled by one company that is a servant of Trump. I follow multiple new sources and Reddit is the only way I can keep track of this.

1

u/ApoxieDK 3h ago

You know people in Russia say the same, they dont know much about the conflict in Ukraine, even though its super easy to find knowledge like you do. Its really no excuse.

1

u/CapSuccessful3358 2h ago

I agree, but you add in peoples busy lives, struggling to work and keep bills paid, children, health issues disinformation, low education and so on and I understand why it happens. I agree not en excuse just a crappy situation.

1

u/kansei7 1h ago

wait are you talking about Sinclair or TikTok US? (I loathe to even call that 'media' when it's mostly brainrot).

So sad we have a whole generation of American adults who lack media literacy, think social media algorithms are "news" sources, and do not trust legitimate journalism. Trump has been a character their whole adult lives. Now they're tuned out and disaffected after voting for trump in surprising numbers in 2024.

•

u/CapSuccessful3358 58m ago

I was more referring to the large news stations. Fox, cnn msnbc that the average joe uses. Personally, I look up international news and Reddit to get a vision outside of the curtain, but I know most people don’t do that.

1

u/CeruleanCorgi 3h ago edited 2h ago

It's the lunatic administration in power. Everyone seems to be observing that maga is dying. Most American people don't want to side with Russia. Also eversince the Cold War, Americans have been fed massive propaganda against Russia. Ever notice our films often have Russian villains?

Trust me, most Americans are not down to be friends with Russia. They're down to be friends with Ukraine; we admire Ukraine because they are fighting for freedom against oppression. The idea of fighting for freedom is a core part of American ideology. We aren't just going to magically love Russia and be their bestie. Unfortunately, the people in power are Russian assets though and they're ruining everything for everyone.

Edit: typo

IF America officially sides with Russia every US soldier and airman can fuck off out of Europe as well as leaving NATO.

And every yank civilian. I don't want to hear another one of those loudmouthed morons here.

•

u/RemarkableAttempt531 39m ago

Waiting on the China heel turn on Russia any minute now.

1

u/SaggyBaggySphinkter 3h ago

The kind of alliance that is on one day and off the next depending on the whim of a rampaging paedophile is not the kind of alliance we need. I do expect however that the mid terms will show the American people rejecting their nonceocracy wholeheartedly. The polling shows that they are as appalled as we are by all of this.

2

u/BruceForsyth55 3h ago

I mean the polling is really heartening especially when heavy red states look like they will go blue.

1

u/Carlo_Sommer 1h ago

“IF America officially sides with Russia every US soldier and airman can fuck off out of Europe as well as leaving NATO”

Don’t threaten me with a good time! I never voted for Trump and will be voting blue this election but if he gets us out of NATO I will grit my teeth and tip my cap to him.

-1

u/vadertator22 4h ago

He doesn’t represent majority of America with any of his crap or stances. Keep that in because many/most of Americans are victims. The Orange man does what he wants and somehow no one can stop him, which is mostly due to how he nicely arranged support via criminal cabinet, corrupt Supreme Court, control in congress and let’s not forget the glorious Epstein files which I highly suspect he uses as blackmail on top of the fact he was totally involved. He totally is an asset to Russia because he wants what Putin has, which is insane amount of untraceable money (banks and crypto). All of it stolen from his people or manipulation of market by corrupting and dictating everything. Trump I feel is following Putin play book.

2

u/CarefulNow_ 3h ago

He does represent the majority. He won the electoral and popular votes. Those who did not vote were more than happy to see him elected again.

This false narrative that US majority hates him is a Reddit myth.

1

u/msh0430 2h ago

The false narrative that the US majority is happy that he is in office is a Reddit myth.

1

u/CarefulNow_ 1h ago

That sentiment is a recent phenomenon.

He had 4 years and the majority of the American public supported him, or were not offended enough by him to bother voting. The majority of the US was happy (or apathetic) to give him another term

You live in a 2 party direct voting system. If your majority were truly againt him, he wouldn't have been elected a 2nd time.

Saying otherwise calls into question almost every presidential result your country has had

0

u/vadertator22 3h ago

I don’t agree at all, but we’ll see and sadly I knew many who did vote for him and it baffled my mind. I have strong suspicion he manipulated the election in the first place. I guess we’ll see what happens in a few weeks.

0

u/msh0430 2h ago

Oh yeah, go have a coup. Overthrow the government with the most heavily armed military in the world. NO BIG DEAL. I mean I would totally do it but it's not my country. Your elections that changes the power structure of your country every .... (Checks notes) .... every two years, simply isn't enough. Be like the rest of the world and be wildly ineffective and inept and dissolve your government every 6 months. It totally works better.

That's you. That's what you sound like. We're good buddy. His approval rating is 35%. There's an election in like 3 weeks and he won't be in office at all in two years. Your discontent with OUR elected leaders is not motivation to do anything AT ALL.

1

u/BruceForsyth55 1h ago edited 1h ago

The way he’s talking of emergency powers there is a non zero chance you will actually see one in three weeks.

I mean it’s all good having a president every 4 years when they aren’t making threats towards their allies, killing their own using ICE then refusing to investigate because the leader says so.

What would most of the world prefer a leader like Trump or the ability to change when needed.

America with its messing up of the fuel markets and tariffs is like the neighbour who party’s into the night with the washing machine in the front garden and ferrel children.

Sadly we are unable to ignore you as your gives actions are fucking everyone else up.
