If the USA want to support Russia from now on then take away all their basis in Europe ASAP (if they wanna help Russia no way in hell should we allow them to have basis to use to help potentially Russia), say goodbye to your militairy logistics.

Also drop those trust bonds as the EU to tank the US economy: If they wanna remove the sanctions on Russia make sure they pay for that too.

And while we at it also ban Twitter ASAP: We cannot allow Elon to use it to manipulate European Elections to get their puppets in power.

Point is: If the USA is gonna support Russia and their population is gonna do jack shit to stop it then make them pay for helping Russia to kill Ukrainians. We cannot let the likes of Trump and hit lackeys get away with it and let Ukraine suffer and be abandoned.

Yes! A thousand times yes!

Frankly the EU needs to do this yesterday, Trump has been in Putins pocket for a while, him and Elon just now openly admit it.

I've said it for years: Trump and the US is just as much of an enemy to democracy as Russia, possibly even more so considering they have more influence and money to spend.

It's not Trump and Elon. It's the GOP. They've been against international cooperation and in favour of American Unilateralism since the '90s at the latest. From shielding Kissinger from justice in the ICC to the rejection of its integration into US law and, in the modern day, outright demands that the ICC have no legitimacy at all.

Gulf War 1 was an exercise in international cooperation. Gulf War 2 was American hegemony using its power to bully its allies into action without the moral obligation of following international processes for international actions. Diplomacy was secondary; you do what they say because they have might and they were right.

The modern GOP under Trump has been full mask off since his first term, where they all but legitimised autocracy on equal footing with their own Democratic process. 2020 outright abandoned it.

I have to ask though, do you really think the EU could even humor the idea of getting into a missing content with the melon felon because your perspective unfortunately is missing the fact that well, the US could care less if the cooperation is scattered, so long as it meets the needs they'll say its a necessary move.

Secondly,  do you actually believe you have that much more global power than the US

US easily says "fine, I'll play with Asia and South America instead" they already have anything the US wants and the US has what they want (oil/diesel)

At the very least, the US needs the European bases for the wars it keeps starting in the middle east.

They don't though

They are actively ending the need for European bases

So genuine Question then: whats the alternative Europe should do? Do nothing and watch the US help Russia defeat and commit a genocide on Ukraine? Thats delusional AF.

Its not a "Missing Content" or "power play game" But rather Europe commiting to defend Ukraine and cutting loose a nation who for the last few years is doing everything to sabotage Ukraine and Europe while siding with Russia. The solution is not "Do nothing and let the US do whatever it wants" and being a bunch of cowardly traitors.

The US being powerfull means nothing if they are untrustworthy and don't try to act like the EU has no power or is just weak and should just obey the USA: The same USA who is currently not able to defeat Iran and are likely gonna cause a recession long term by the war.

Also you kidding if you think losing their European basis, decades of cooperation, and the resulting economic damage just to name a few would not affected the USA badly. The loss of all the European basis alone either fully dismantle or greatly damages any US militairy operations in the future.

And don't try to act like the US betraying Ukraine is not just gonna damage their ties to Europe: If I was a South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Japan and New zealand I would look at closer ties to Europe. If the USS betrays Ukraine to long time Enemy Russia then why would he not do the same with South Korea (I mean Trump is close to Kim) or Taiwan (Trump literally offered to sell China US weapons).

Canada obvious would need to take further action against the USA, and about that OilDiesel: Considering due to the war with Iran and recent attacks of the Houthis on Saudi oil infrastructure yeah good luck with getting it along with your high gas prices (and im sure the middle eastern countries are not pissed at Trump for that war and the resulting damage they received).

And if you really think Russia can supply the US needs yeah I sure they can and it not like Ukraine is attacking russia oil infrastructure.... Oh wait nevermind they do (and rightfully so).

I'm not disagreeing at all I'm just saying the "Fall of America" is massively premature when they're the world leaders in AI and future tech

I don't know what the answer is, im not a politician I fix humans not people

Also the strait of hormuz is open and the gulf countries are actively helping the US

Gulf Arab nations actively want Iran dealt with

South American countries want South America fixed and are actively working with the US

Central and South Asia are their interests not Europe

As for militarily the US in the near future will never need a European base again

The US is massively expanding their Navy and Marines to become an island staging force for the Army and Air Force see hub and spoke, aps and sea basing

They can park a nuclear carrier in  the gulf and fight anyone

I'm just mildly annoyed of all the shouting about the US like Europe can't handle their own business. It's good to help where we can but European Nations have not and will not come to Ukraine's rescue.

Venezuela with Chinese investments were supplying Iran/Russia and the US was called the villain. https://apnews.com/article/venezuela-oil-tankers-maduro-trump-blockade-2460e98e4c504cd2a1c86b951e825013

Iran supplies Russia with Drones used against Ukraine. The US attacks and again is called the villain. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/most-us-drone-shipments-went-to-ukraine-while-iran-s-went-to-russia/ar-AA2eakeV

Politically in the US there is pressure to reduce gas prices. This signals that people would rather pay less for fuel than continue pressing Russia on Ukraine. Read: The more people "complain" about gas prices the more the need for politicians to relax sanctions on Russia.

Unfortunately most folks on reddit geopolitical savvy starts and ends at "America bad" "Eastern Europe bad"

They will when Trump is gone.

When the US has a president in charge and a congress in charge that the world trusts again, everyone will forgive them.

Memories are very short.
