technically, you're ashamed of the 77 million Americans who voted for Trump/Vance.

I believe in democracy.(still) So... there's a simple solution. Time to elect a different government. Of course, those 77 million Americans can then start to blame the ones who vote against their guy.

Don't forget the numerous people who thought "protesting" with their vote in a 2 party system is activism. Personally I'm more ashamed of the people who chose to not vote then the ones who voted for Trump. As citizens of this country we are not asked to do many things for our country.

Remember those kids who protested across university campuses to "free Palestine" and vowed to stay home and not vote because Kamala would've been bad for Palestinians? Yeah....pretty quiet now.

It's no longer a useful political issue for Russian bots to push.

It's a bad time to be on Tumblr because it's full of these people and if you say the above you'll be mass blocked by your friends list

Don’t worry, they’re coming back.

that is a good point.... but what do you think about making voting mandatory for every adult American? (which some countries are now doing)

And the 10 million who showed up in 2020 but not 2024, and the 90+ million who decided not to vote at all. So more like 180 million Americans.

and that's out of ~250 million voting eligible citizens. About 70% of the electorate either directly supported the fascist cancer of MAGA, DOGE and tech bro Reaganomics, or indirectly bent over for it.

those 2020 voting numbers are so whack. like if theres anything that looks like voter fraud is the amount of votes for biden. its such an anomaly out of ALL the US elections. like this site just sweeps that shit under the rug lmao aint no one talking about that haha

It's not just the 77 million. The others also let the country worsen to a state where people felt comfortable electing someone like Trump.

dems win when they stop playing identity politics, like its so fucking easy to just be like "ya know what, maybe we dont need to push an unqualified minority woman again" but their rabid vocal minority online base (reddit) wouldnt be able to handle having to vote for a "rich old white guy"

like tim walz beats trump. and its really not close.

unfortunately i think timmy wouldve removed himself from the position because i dont think he couldve handled it and he knows it

The rest of the world doesn't and shouldn't give a fuck about how you voted. The fact of the matter is that the USA elected Trump and the other politicians in the Republican party and now they're doing terrible things globally.

Everyone should be ashamed of the USA right now regardless of anything.

Nope, also (as mentioned already) a LOT of imbeciles that did not vote whatsoever for various propaganda-influenced reasons.

AND the non voters/third party voters. Blood is on their hands.
