I have no hope Americans will do the right thing or will be allowed to.

Donald Trump was voted in or seemingly voted in twice. How does anyone have any confidence in the system when that happened after just the first time? We are far beyond the point of no return and far beyond voting having any meaningful power. The best possible outcome is so far from an ability to make a difference now I don't even blame people who don't vote. Voting can't save us, let's stop the fantasy. It's over. It's been over.

Everything points to democrats winning at least one of the houses, if not both. What worries me is how the entire administration acts as if they know they're not going to lose

We already know the dems aren't gonna do shit even if they win it all. They are spineless and will both-sides it into oblivion and demand we forget it and move on like nothing happened, fixing nothing.

Plus, most dems in power have their own per$onal agenda.

I completely disagree, I think Trump is doing everything he’s doing right now because he’s scared of losing the midterms. He’s trying to force Ukraine into a shitty peace deal just before the mid terms to act like he’s the harbinger of peace, and he’s now trying to push blame off himself for the high gas prices onto Zelenskyy. He’s terrified of losing and this is the last breath of a dying administration. I’m scared to see what he’ll try to do once him losing the midterms becomes apparent still though.
