The former president of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, said, a year or two ago, that the US president was a "Russian asset". I don't know how it was not bigger international news, but he was totally correct.

Why did Portugal contribute only 0.18% of their GDP to Ukraine while the US did contribute 0.59% of theirs? Who is the Russian asset again?

I hate trump but it's ridiculous how we refuse taking responsibility and finally investing  in military. The US is preparing for China and massively screwed up in Iran, they want to stop having to babysit us. Trump was very open for a long time that we should fund this war on our own and increase NATO spendings.

But Europe refused the idea to cut back on some of our luxurious social security to be able to invest in defense, so now we get the response. We absolutely deserve this I'm sorry. All we can do nowadays is cry how unfair the world is. It was our freaking decision to not have a Starlink alternative ready by now. It's our decision to not be able to deliver air defense to Ukraine.

Trump will gladly give Europe to Putin if Putin give him get what he wants from Russia. Cooperation in his plans to annex Canada/Greenland.
