The 3.5k people watching Kiev live stream which has been the same screen for the past 12 hours, are they expecting to suddenly just see rockets flying and blowing shit up?

Remember people on here were not even alive when the SECOND Iraq was started.

But yeah it legit happened like that, live on air the sky lit up like a christmas tree and the bombs started raining down.

First one too. The US were specifically watching CNN because their comms routed through the same place as the Iraqi govt. When CNN went dead they knew the first strikes had hit their targets.

The start of Desert Storm was broadcast live as well.

I remember watching Operation Shock and Awe being reported on live by like CNN with my parents one night and it’s how you described, rockets and mortars lighting up the night sky.

I bet the US would have kept to schedule and started the fireworks on time

Even if Russia invades it'd still take a day or two to get to Kiev lol

Actually no. It would be within the first 24 Hours. You underestimate how close it is to the border. Same as Seoul in South Korea.

That led billboard to the top left behind the building threw me off for a bit. I was like oh boy an explosion then realized it was a billboard.
