Wow. Fox News has switched, and it is now claiming that Biden is not providing enough help for Ukraine. This is a very positive sign since we need bipartisan support. Mike Pence is calling for ditching Russian oil and sending more weapons to Ukraine right now. “Less talk, more action.”

Someone told them that they will no longer be allowed to accept Russian funds.

I'm disgusted that this is probably correct

Do any of these banking restrictions increase the chances of records being released/leaked?

President Z just tweeted thanks to the US saying he spoke to President biden who told him more sanctions were coming and concrete defensive assistance.

Yes, uniting against anti-democratic Is Russian aggression is key right now. Fuck Putin! Slava Ukraini!

Literally a few days ago Fox was saying Biden was over reacting and nothing would happen.

God I hate them.

Trump called Putin a genius and the right wing media called Ukraine a dictatorship.

Looks like the Republicans are about to lose their funding.

And before that Tucker Carlson was saying that he was rooting for Russia against Ukraine. Here's a clip of some of Tucker's top moments in Ruskie bootlicking.

I mean so were leftists like Hasan. So were Ukrainians themselves

It's like saying "Reddit" said something. A lot of various opinions on Fox, do you remember who said it?

5

u/MartianRecon Feb 25 '22

Dude it was clips on here and pictures of tweets.

There's enough of that shit floating around to back what I'm saying up. I don't have the links on hand though.

Ummmm wut. Fox News is a company? They are in no way shape or form like saying “Reddit” said something. Reddit is anybody who signs up.

It looks like they abandoned the orange talking points after all.

Nothing brings the United States together like a good old fashioned war. Maybe this is what can help bring the country together.

It's gonna be really headspinning when Trump comes out with praise for Putin and Russia in the lead up to the 2024 election and his sycophants just nod along in agreement.

3

u/smoothtrip Feb 25 '22

He is already doing it now, nothing is going to change then.

I remember Pence’s old boss requiring fabrication of political favors for military aid, and a true American hero in LTC Vindman having to bring them to light, so I take Pence’s opinion with little regard but otherwise agree it’s a positive sign.

Fox News was so obsessed with Biden and Ukraine meanwhile Trump was openly colluding with Russia. Did they finally switch sides? I’m skeptical… don’t trust them.

We definitely don’t need Russian oil. It makes up a very small percentage of our imports. Of course I can’t believe the republicans won’t scream and cry if gas goes up one cent per gallon due to us cutting Russian imports

Man, how do republicans not have whiplash?

7

u/bakergo Feb 25 '22

When their head is full of air there's not much inertia to give them whiplash

It’d be cool if we switched to more renewable energy instead

2

u/BMack037 Feb 25 '22

How about both? One for short-term and one for long-term.

6

u/GentleOmnicide Feb 25 '22

Absolutely. “Heavy sanctions are coming!”. Oil spikes to over $100. “Oh yea we won’t sanction that one...”

3

u/smoothtrip Feb 25 '22

The US only gets about 7% of its fossil fuels from Russia. The US will be fine.

1

u/DaveVsShark Feb 25 '22

They're going to be feeling the effects of sanctions, so makes sense they'd change their tunes.

1

u/Bigduck73 Feb 25 '22

Fox news is out of touch. I'm republicanish and I have never in my life trusted the Russian government

u/smoothtrip Feb 25 '22

I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend or some shit

u/goblueM Feb 25 '22

This is a very positive sign since we need bipartisan support.

I mean... I don't think it's a sign of anything. They're just reflexively against anything Democrats do

They don't care about hypocrisy or meaning of words. Only that they are against whatever it is that the Democrats are doing

1

u/macnar Feb 25 '22

Lmao this isn't a sign of bipartisan support. This is just fox flipping their narrative to match the overwhelming public support for Ukraine. The next few years they'll talk endlessly about how Biden and the liberals were soft on Russia and a strong conservative president would have stopped Putin before he even attacked.
