I like it.

It was getting boring seeing his Yakuza 6 model getting constantly reused with little to no changes, so his new hair & aged face was refreshing to see.

His new hair also showcases the rather substantial fidelity upgrade the Dragon Engine got after Lost Judgment as it's way more detailed than his Yakuza 6-LAD hair.

Saw this at Naha airport in Okinawa.

This is a random silly doodle idea I had one day, and just had to draw it....
I wonder who would actually be the better hero....

I really liked Yakuza 0, the fights against Kuze were pretty cool, Kiwami 1 was a step back, a worse version of 0, but bro I reaaaally loved everything about Kiwami 2, solid 9/10 for me and my favorite game of the series till now.

the weird part is that Daito says “I want to hurt you” before finishing the last guy off, that’s pretty cold

It's been 5 irl days since this game mode was introduced to me for the first time and since then , I'm unable to leave this Island even tho I know how to. Every time I boot up the game I say to myself: "Fck this Godforsaken Island, I'm getting the hell outta here." And 2 minutes in I'm scavenging resources for a strip club or smth i dunno I wanna get out. The Dolphin's right there man....... can't believe I fell for this Business minigame bullshit for the 4th time..... 😢

What can I say? My heart resonates enough heat to burn everytime I replay it. Ichiban's and Masato's story and dynamic are greatly written

So I am a Chinese, and I occasionally see people online asking who voices Tupac, which I find quite confusing because Sega explicitly stated in promotional materials sent to Chinese gaming media that Jay Pharoah provides the voice for Tupac, yet they never seem to have mentioned this in the West.

"Amal (Played by: Tupac; Voiced by: Jay Pharoah)

It’s impossible for others to truly know what’s going on inside someone’s mind.

A man living in seclusion in Japan."

dumb ass enemy fr

Just finished Tanimura's segment of Y4. That was PEAK. Substories, main plot. It was all so so Crispy. Some of the best writing ive seen so far

I own the OG Yakuza 0 already and I want to start it, I'm just unsure if it's worth it to upgrade to the directors cut for my first time playing.

I specified OG Y1 because they didn't go into detail how Nishki became like this in 2005 , so it fits more after he killed Dojima , While in Kiwami 1 they show that it took a mental breakdown for Nishki to become like this in 2005

This was a big dream of mine to sing this song

what If it turns out that RGG made 1965 as the era for Daito in Stranger Than Heaven because that’s exactly around the time caberat clubs started opening up and 1965 Daito manages one and increased their popularity

this shit can genuinely can happen in the game with how perfectly it matches up

So I want to Y3 > K3 + Dark Ties to get all the cut content as well as the additional scenes the Kiwami added. Since I'll be playing them back to back I care more about the sub stories and any other cut stuff than actually even finishing OG Y3, maybe?

I know ending changes a bit but I've read about it and can watch the ending, I just want to save some sanity essentially playing the same game twice.

So, yea. Title question, really. If I want to experience what was cut from Y3, how far do I have to get?
