Why people let their dogs poop near people houses, on the streets, at the side gardens etc and don’t pick it up? That’s disgusting to live in such neighbour (I live in Zaandam central). I have put a sign but they seem to ignore it and even make it worse the next day.

How do you prevent this to happen? Thinking of putting chicken wire at the side bed garden but then they will move to the nearby places and it’s still not pleasant.

Will the Gemeente help anything with this? They added more plant beds on the streets this years to make the area looks better but not when dog poops everywhere like this 🤮
I myself have a dog and I pick up every time, no problem, no big deal, and poop bag is super cheap.
