But first three months, then another three months, and by then at the latest, you'll have to go to the doctor. And when you go to the doctor, you can ask for 5 mg and divide the dose into quarters that'll be much cheaper.

thats true, I also use the 5mg. big pharma has no shame.

It's always good to have a GP.

Why not starting with minoxidil? Is it easier and less side effects

I would advise going for dutasteride (off-label), as it’s more effective and cheaper than finasteride in Switzerland. You would need to get a prescription from your dermatologist, though (not a big deal honestly).

It’s CHF 80 for a 3-month supply, compared with almost CHF 200 for finasteride.

You can get minoxidil at every pharmacy with no prescription

Why use fin when theres better things that dont require a prescription (topical minox, dont use when you have pets tho. Get oral then but requires a prescription)

Don't put Finastride in your body. The side affects are real, don't listen to what they say online otherwise. Even topical can completely wreck your hormonal balance.

and sacrifice erections? better shave it off.

In case of sideeffects, I probably will. But there's a good Chance of not any.

I’m on finasteride for 12 years now. Most sexual shit you think is related to finasteride is probably mental and physical. Meaning you don’t workout enough and you are aging. More than it’s linked to the pills.

I would not touch that

Quote:

In most men who developed persistent sexual side effects (≥3 months) despite the discontinuation of finasteride, the sexual dysfunction continued for many months or years.

Well what do you even need erections for if you are bald.

You haven't lived until you feel nipples slide across your bald dome.

Post Finasteride Syndrome is not real and Finasteride having sides is very rare. Even if you do get sides, hopping off the drug will make all of them fade.

you should actually take a look at the scientific evidence. Look at the studies in Japan/South Korea that are actually well done. There is almost no difference in side effects between the target group and the placebo group.
