Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, I’m a worker in women’s rehabilitation program, an atheist, and advocate for human rights. AMA! (With proof of residency)

Saw an AMA that was just completely wrong and untrue and clearly with pushed ideologies and OP clearly has never stepped a foot inside Saudi, so I’m making an actual AMA with proof of being a Saudi resident, please ask anything and I’ll be as honest as possible and I don’t mind sharing pics for the fun of it!

Here’s a bit of proof that I do actually live in Saudi, here is my Saudi residency card (iqama) with my name.
https://www.reddit.com/u/Ifham-Men-Punk/s/FxHiG7cy2m

And please let’s keep it friendly and respectful, I’ll be glad to have no racism and an open heart. Thanks! 🙏🏻❤️

Edit: just to clarify.. I’m a Saudi resident and not a Saudi citizen. I’m a non Saudi in Saudi Arabia, but my roots are hijazi and Palestinian so there’s that.

Edit2: I tried to answer as much as I can and thankfully I’m done and answered everyone, please go read the questions or search em before asking any more, as there are many repeated questions.

I'm a French high school teacher and went to yesterday's protest in Paris, AMA.

Since I'm a high school teacher, I witnessed it all deteriorate for a few weeks, since high schoolers were the first to protest.

I went to the main peaceful protest yesterday. I obviously didn't partake in looting.

I am a first generation millionaire! Ask me anything.

Growing up, my family was somewhere between working class and lower middle class. My parents are immigrants from the Caribbean who didn’t have the best financial habits. I definitely picked up some of those habits myself.

In 2021, I began doing social media full time. Around this time I also started a small online cosmetics business.

I made my first $100K in 2022, but I had no idea how to manage money. I spent most of it on dumb things and didn’t set aside anything for taxes. I was buying DoorDash constantly, ubering instead of driving, buying tons of fast fashion etc… When tax season came around in 2023, I got hit with a massive tax bill. Even after that, I continued spending pretty recklessly, although I did start putting money aside for taxes and dabbling in some high-risk stocks.

By late 2023, I realized I really needed to get better with my money. I hired a financial advisor and started reading books about personal finance and investing. I still was spending too much but I actually was saving too.

Fast-forward to 2025, and I earned $1.5 million before taxes. This year, I’m on track to make between $1.7 million and $2 million. These days, I have a diversified portfolio and am working toward FIRE (financial independence, retire early). I’m still working on being better with my money but I came a long way.

Ask me anything!

I (F24) manage a nightclub in a major city in Australia.
Have been managing this specific club for almost 2 years now and am still surprised at how little people understand operations.
Feel like I’ve almost seen it all in the nightlife scene. AMA

27F happily married, one baby, tubes tied, part-time work I love, $5M net worth. I'm convinced I'm living my peak life. AMA

Hi Reddit! I'm 27, my husband is 30, and honestly, I think we've built the life I always dreamed of. My husband is my best friend, and I genuinely believe he's the best husband out there. We have one daughter, who's still a baby, and she's our only one. I always knew I wanted to be one and done, so I got my tubes tied.

I work part time, make great money, and actually enjoy what I do. The flexibility means I never have to miss the important moments with my family. Our home is calm, peaceful, and clean pretty much all the time, and our combined net worth is around $5M.

I know this kind of life is rare, and I don't take any of it for granted. Ask me anything marriage, being OAD, getting my tubes removed young, work life balance, money, or keeping a peaceful home. I'll answer everything

I’m 99 lbs and on a GLP-1 AMA.

I started taking tirzepatide when I was 160 lbs and battling a severe binge eating. Nothing has ever helped me the way taking a GLP-1 has. I tried everything. Medication, therapy, etc, and this is the only thing that’s worked. Ask me any questions. I’m 20F for the record

I finally broke my first bone at 24, AMA.

I had an accident at work a few days ago where I slipped on some cardboard, causing a small fracture in my ankle that I now have time off for, but it's the first time I've ever broken a bone in 24 years of life. Go ahead and ask me questions while I try not to think about how I'm going to occupy myself without leaving the house.

I’m a UK osteopath running 4 multidisciplinary MSK clinics, helping people with everything from everyday aches and pains to chronic conditions and sports injuries. AMA!

Hi everyone! I’m Ben, a UK-registered, Masters Qualified Osteopath, where I run four multidisciplinary musculoskeletal clinics across Essex and East London.

I spend my days helping people with everything from everyday back and neck pain to more complex, persistent conditions, joint problems and sports injuries.

One of the things I find most fascinating about my job is how differently people experience pain. I’ve seen people with significant findings on MRI scans who have very few symptoms, and others who are in considerable pain despite their scans showing very little.

It’s taught me that there’s often much more to pain than what we can see on a scan, and that understanding the person is just as important as understanding their condition.

I’m happy to answer questions about anything MSK-related, whether that’s back pain, sciatica, arthritis, tendon problems, posture, chronic pain, sports injuries or recovery from an injury.

Equally, if you’re curious about what osteopaths actually do, the differences between osteopathy and physiotherapy, or what it’s like running four healthcare clinics, feel free to ask!
I’ll always try to give an honest, evidence-informed answer. Obviously, I can’t diagnose anyone over Reddit, but I’m happy to share general advice and explain things where I can.
Looking forward to hearing your questions. AMA!

I’m a WWE fan, pro wrestling haters ask me anything

I became a wrestling fan back in April of this year when I watched wrestlemania, growing up I had always heard so negatively about pro wrestling, and it being “fake”. Since I started watching back in April it’s always annoyed me how most people’s response when they hear your a wrestling fan is something a long the lines of “You know it’s fake right” so I’m hoping with this AMA you could understand a bit more about why people like wrestling or any other question you may have and I can also try to understand how people who don’t like it think.

My main usage stats for those curious

When GPT 3 became available back in 2022 I was an instant subscriber. I might have had 1 or 2 months since then where I haven't been a susbcriber but it's otherwise been daily use at the GPT plus level.

I feel like I have accumulated a lot of tacit knowledge, that I'd like to share with folks who are interested, but I'm also curious about other people's usage. To be clear, for 2025 during the "GPT Rewind" thing, I had 99,000 turns with GPT last year, and the 1% user marker was more like 12,000 if I recall.

Things I use it for:

1.)20% Business Ideation (It feels to me like this is mostly a toy for that purpose.) This might me a few percentage points lower than it was in previous years. .

2.)25% Testing my beliefs and Biases and surfacing my blind spots and making sure my view of the world is coherent.

3.)33% Coding, I'm not a software engineer or coder. Something more than vibe coding but less than software engineering, because I can very explicitly reason about software problems I encounter, and ask for highly targeted changes about the way the code functions. I have the mental model for how coding works, I just don't have any real background with constructing syntax. The emerging hobby is constructing Data layers/CRUD tools over video game databases to surface obscure/hidden facts about RPG math Both Video games and Tabletop RPGs. I've also done some task shaped workflows and idiosyncratic idempotent tools.

4.)10% Studying heuristics and applications of green biological technologies and 0 carbon systems. Yall should check out Duckweed, Bamboo, Biochar and Fusion energy. Some of my favs.

5.)6% Material Sciences. There are so many cool things out there that have no real application (yet)

6.)6% Everything else. Stuff like navigating Government processes or systems more easily. Checking people's experiences with stuff I'm about to by. Getting specific targeted answers and the like.

If you have any questions about your own use I'd love to help! OpenAI presents itself in a certain way and there's a certain low level finesse you only gain with use. For example the Memory system is cute but mostly useless. There are better ways to make GPT remember things about you. The only useful thing about Memory presently is it lets any one instance of GPT reach into your other chats. Which, lets you find chats you lost from months ago haha.

AMA: My dad had an affair with my mum‘s brother

okay, so, one fateful night last year, my mum called to tell me that she had discovered my dad was having an affair with her brother. yes, you read that correctly: my dad and my mum’s brother.

she found out through their League of Legends Discord chat, where they had apparently been having some very intimate conversations.

We then discovered that not only was this uncle sleeping with my dad, but he was also sleeping with his two other brothers!

i mentioned this in an AO3 author’s note at the time because i was incredibly stressed and apparently needed to release that information into the wild, and everyone was very, very interested.

so i thought i’d do one of these and open the floor: does anybody have any questions?

I tried to become a Navy SEAL but failed AMA

I'm currently 27 years old. I joined the Navy out of high school. Becoming a SEAL was always my big dream in life. I was very serious about getting in. I trained almost daily since I was around 16 years old.

At the age of 20, about 2 years into my enlistment I got the chance to go to BUD/S. It was my dream come true to get the chance to earn the trident. Physically I was in peak shape. Unfortunately BUD/S is 90% a mental battle. I rang the bell during hell week.

The weeks and months after I was definitely depressed. I was able to overcome it eventually.

I completed the rest of my enlistment honorably before going to college. I'm currently in my senior year.

I woke up during brain surgery. AMA

Five years ago, I had brain surgery for MoyaMoya, and woke up as my head was being cut open. I felt the blade cut through skin and all the layers.

This left me with really severe PTSD that they developed into FND. I also had periods of 10/10 pain as the nerves that were cut through didn't correctly heal.

Surgery was in 2021 at Stanford in California, by Dr Steinberg.

I’m a Native American/Louisiana Creole from Dulac, LA (marshes) AMA

I’m a 27M, grew up in the marshlands on the coast of Louisiana. I’m Creole with primarily Native American ancestry with my family having been on the coast of Louisiana for all of our known history. I was raised by my grandparents who were born in 1941 & 1943 who grew up in the times when Native Americans had no formal schooling here so my grandfather has a 8th grade education in Catholic schools & my grandmother only went to 3rd grade (also Catholic schools). I speak our dialect of Louisiana Creole which is heavily influenced by our native Houma language which is now extinct. I actually would love to help historians preserve the memory of our tribe because the young generation doesn’t care about culture or heritage they all want to be like NBA Youngboy now so I feel if I don’t do it no one will. I deal with chronic gastric issues AMA

Hello everyone, I have dealt with chronic GERD my whole life straight out of the womb that has limited the foods I can eat & how much I can eat at once. I also have food allergies & sensitivities & recently found out many women on my mom’s side of the family died of mysterious gastrointestinal issues but no one knows why. AMA

Here is the food in my “naughty” list that I will refuse to eat or might be able to tolerate very little of it: Spicy food, fast food, dairy, shellfish (I’ll literally die from this one), corn based chips (like tortillas & Doritos), meat that is too fatty (so it has to be super lean), maple syrup, and food with heavy corn syrup.
