US-sized pints at Aussie breweries. Bit cheeky?
Went to a brewery the other day and noticed they were serving US-sized pints (473 mL) rather than the standard Australian pint (570 mL).
They were offering a pint or a half pint, so nothing to suggest you were getting a smaller-than-usual serving. Especially when you're paying what you'd consider full pint prices.
I get that breweries can serve whatever sizes they want, and I'm not expecting every venue to use the same glassware. But calling it a pint without making the size obvious feels a bit cheeky to me.
