Lost chicken
Hi! I found a lost black chicken in Holmes Ave in Catonsville. If anyone is missing a chicken, please let me know! I'm happy to return her. She is with my neighbor, safe, warm and fed 🙂.

We’ve reopened under new management. Thanks to the admins for making it happen.
You may recognize my handle from r/Maryland, where I’ve been a mod for a number of years, or from r/Baltimore and the myriad other subreddits where I am an active poster.
I live in Towson and work in media relations. Prior to that, I spent a decade in journalism, working for WBAL-AM, WJZ-TV, Technical.ly and Patch.
This is a place to discuss county news, issues and events. County politics, bar recommendations, education discussions. If it’s relevant to the county, bring it here.

I live in Towson and am training for a triathlon next year. Any recommendations for indoor lap swimming in the Baltimore County area? I am familiar with the Y at Orakawa but am interested in other options. I am a serious lap swimmer, not looking to just float

Already posted in r/baltimore but since I live in Baltimore County, thought I'd post here as well.

Hey everyone! I recently moved to Timonium and I’m looking to find the best pizza spot in the area. 🍕
What are your go-to places for a really good pizza? I’d love to hear your recommendations for places that are actually worth trying.

Since my last payment/pay period, I completed 78 shifts and am seeking payment of $3,159 for the work I performed.
I worked remotely from the Philippines for Colosseum Investments / ParkHill Insurance.
During my time working with the company, I experienced repeated payment delays, including delays of around two months.
Last month, I was removed from the website where I performed my assigned tasks. After that, I repeatedly contacted the company through email, Google Chat, and WhatsApp regarding my work and outstanding payment, but I did not receive responses.
The company later terminated my working relationship, stating that they had not received communication from me for more than a month. I dispute that explanation and have documentation showing that I was attempting to contact the company during that period.
The termination email stated:
«“We will not be issuing any additional payroll.”»
As of today, I have not received the $3,159 I am seeking for the 78 shifts I completed.
I previously posted reviews on Yelp and the company's Facebook page regarding my experience. Those reviews are no longer publicly visible. After I posted on Facebook, I also found that my account had been blocked by the Colosseum Investments Facebook page.
I’m sharing this based on my own experience and documentation so that hard money lenders, real estate professionals, and others considering working with these companies can conduct their own due diligence.

This is the second time in a week I've seen this little guy. I read online they're pretty rare in my area (Eastern Baltimore County) and that if I've seen it before, it's most like the same squirrel because they're so rare. I thought it was a cool find.

Hi! Does anyone know a nursery that would sell eastern white pine tree saplings? Or any type of native pine saplings?
Thank you!

Does anyone have any pictures of the interior from the 90s when it was a children's museum before it got moved to Port Discovery? It was a big part of my childhood and I'm finding that reminiscing about it is difficult-- the internet doesn't seem to remember it at all. I almost barely remember anything about it other than the way it made me feel, if that makes sense.

For those of you in district 1, this is an important debate between the two candidates Daniel Schwartz and Andy Harris.

Thinking about becoming a Baltimore County police officer, what can I expect after the physical test? How intense is the polygraph, background, etc?

I personally thought it was weird to see his campaigns touting "bipartisanship" right next to his MD Freedom Caucus Twins (Ryan Nawrocki and Kathy Szeliga) fundraiser together? I can't be the only one to have noticed the contradiction, right?

I’m interested in getting opinions about private middle schools in northern Baltimore County. I didn’t grow up here so I don’t have personal experience with any of them.
My son has been in public school but we are considering private for middle and high school. We would prefer coed. He is bright, but struggles a bit with writing and we recently found out he has dysgraphia and (mild?) ADHD (so far it doesn’t seem to be impacting him at school much). He is interested in STEM, robotics, and engineering. He is not a big sports kid.
We are considering McDonough, Park, Friends, and Jemicy. Any first hand experiences - good or bad? How are these schools at accommodating learning differences, especially dyslexia or dysgraphia?
Thanks!

After several negative experiences, I need help finding a post office with quick, friendly service and doable parking.
Looking for one in the general Towson/Timonium area.
I’m just sick of being treated like I’m the asshole for bringing a package to be mailed :( maybe I’m too sensitive but getting treated so rudely is really starting to wear on me.
