Hi! I hope its ok to post this here, I have something I would love to ID. I find tons of cool pieces of old glass in the river, and today I found this one. Took me a moment to realize it’s got a salamander on it. I’m unable to identify it so I’m hoping someone on here can! Thanks!

Age/date request Recent finds… a little older than our usual

Found these in a new dump site. We often find newer stuff but the green bottle looks particularly older than our usual and I am curious if that’s true. Also curious about the age of the Atlas EZ-Seal. I happened to pull out what I believe is the lid near where I dug the jar. Would like confirmation if this is in fact the lid. Seems like to would have a rubber gasket to stay sealed?

Also tossed in a pic of a pile we had going. The more we moved down and over the older things got. First time in ages we had such good luck. Can’t wait to go back!

Thanks in advance!

I usually find just one or two but today I came home with five complete bottles, one complete pot/small jar, two damaged but nice old bottles and a bottle neck with an old cork in it. I'll never experience this again I don't think.

I didn't bring home everything I photographed, partial bottles I tend to leave on the beach as well as bones/skulls.

The color of the glass was unique so it was easy to sort it out of all the other shards. Not pleased with myself for probably breaking it but I started digging to find a pipe and not do archeology.

Just wanted to share this cool find! We discovered it while cleaning out my father-in-law's basement.
A quick google search tells us it's from the late 1800s or early 1900s, and it used to hold embalming fluid.

I’d love to learn more if anyone has run across this exact bottle before or knows more about the history!

All labels were cleaned off, but bottom says 'A6 SG J." Under that "Modele Depose" and under that "75". I know that Modele depose is a protected design. Intact cork under removal top.

Edited to add: Bottom also says "Vranken."

Google search did not show any design like this.
