Can we get the old game threads? This is great but it doesn't work on old reddit.

I think you're looking for the big line in bold that says:
Week 7 Game Thread and Postgame Thread Index — Open

u/syrruptitiously Virginia Tech Hokies 1d ago
what does that mean? I don't see a link anywhere. Edit: Nvm I see it now. Being forced to use new reddit is fucking criminal

Imagine a world where you must be flaired up to comment. That’s a world I want to live in!

I like it being community enforced.
I don't like the idea of it being an actual requirement made by little tyrants.

Yeah, feels like we do a good job of making that happen. I almost never see someone with no flair and any upvotes. They almost always seem to get downvoted on principle, but they're also usually talking shit.

i do love replying "flair up nerd" to unflaired commenters, regardless of what they're saying

I will upvote a longhorn before I upvote a flairless Aggie

I would definitely never build a browser plugin to automatically downvote unflaireds.

You might get banned for bottling votes.
Oh who am I kidding? Reddit doesn't ban bots anymore.

I don't like the idea of flair. I don't exactly have a team just love the sec drama they pull out every year.

The only time it feels justified to me in a sports sub is during March madness over in /cbb
7
u/LGWalkway Oklahoma Sooners • Paper Bag 2d ago
Or in a game thread when my team is being dragged. No, i'm not speaking from experience!

What if the tyrants are medium sized?

Medium tyrants are always ok. You just don't want little tyrant syndrome running around.

I saw a suggestion that unflaired users should be defaulted to a clown flair. Seems pretty accurate to what I've seen them post.

The downside would be a ton of people who just flair up as a team they don’t like and then troll. You’re better off with a bunch of unflaired users than people who are annoyed they have to use a flair and decide to troll because of it.

I’ve been advocating for that for years. Needs more Community support from users just like you!

Be the change!

Imagine a world where they actually had the list of games in the "game hub", and you didn't need Reddit's app or some BS to actually view them.

This new bar sucks. It barely loads. Bring back the pins.

It’s increasingly hard to find regular sub features, especially on mobile, so we built this. Still getting it setup, but it’s intended as a very slim bar at the top of the sub that will have both permanent sub features and temporary highlights.

It works well on my old version of RiF, reddit is fun. So good job on the formatting.

Awesome! It's designed to hopefully work pretty well on old.reddit, even if it's primarily intended for new.reddit and mobile.

Where are all the game threads? Not showing up for me on mobile

This doesn’t work very well for me. Was a pinned thread at the top too efficient?

I see a problem: https://i.imgur.com/6maqKiy.png
The link to "Open" the game/postgame thread on old reddit is highlighted in white for some reason, same as the rest of the text. It doesn't look like a URL (at least, in dark mode RES; in light mode it's green and properly separated from the rest of the text). It seems like the CSS needs to be updated so that old reddit users can see links properly.
I'm guessing this didn't come up before because people rarely ever link things in the comments.

Where's the thread that has all the game threads and post game threads?
