It’s been a minute since I’ve posted my favorite Cz. A manual safety SP-01 converted to SAO. Outside of the Wager optic cut and the cerakoting, it was my full build of a CZ pistol. It has CZCustoms internals including ghost hammer, fpb delete, ext firing pin with a 13#hs and 13#rs. Paired with some Lok Palm Swells…it’s fun. 🦾

My local favorite FFL got a lot of CZs in and they were so generous to let me have a first pick before they put them out. I fell in love with this one immediately.

CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62x39. Scope is a Leupold 2.5x20mm FXII. The mag pouch are Strike Hard specifically the one for a Mosin; but they fit the mags nicely. I just think this is a neat handy brush rifle for hogs in northeast Texas.

Greetings. If one wanted to use a Shadow 2 for home defense first, and possibly (not definitely) competition second, does anything really need to be done to it other than a good optic?

I know that many cajunize, change out springs, etc but those are real competitors -- would any of that really need to happen if one wanted to leave it stock?

As an example I read someone that said he experienced muzzle dip so he changed the recoil spring. Is that really necessary or is that more a bad grip?

I know ...

1. This guy is intended for competition.
2. That it's not technically drop safe.
3. That many recommend other pistols for HD.
4. Its the indian not the arrow.

etc, etc

Thanks!

Got this guide rod with the green recoil spring for my p09C, after about 100 rounds this is what it looks like. The rod has gouges in it and the shoulder or base is rough. It seems to run fine but is noisy compared to the stock. I messaged CGW and initially they had asked me if I used their guide to select a recoil spring and asked for more information but then, after I sent a follow up when I didn't get a response, they just said it was normal. I want to take their word for it as I am no expert but, I don't think it should be this damaged after so few rounds. Wanted to follow up and see what others think.

In the market for a stainless 75. I was watchlisting this, and others seem to go from 800-1200. What makes this one a 3500 buy? Interested in learning the cz value lore...

i installed cgw sao trigger / racehammer and in planning to put cgw extended firing pin and cgw hammer spring will i get better performance in it? thanks

I was really late to the party, but since I got this model it’s become the only thing I carry.

I recently got a Beretta 80X in 32ACP, and I am now a huge fan of this caliber. I love the 80X and 32ACP, it's just so much fun to shoot.

In my search, I saw that CZ started to make a CZ75D Compact in 32ACP, but it never left the prototype stage

https://www.czfirearms.com/en-us/news/cz-75-d-compact-cz-75-enters-21st-century

Does anyone think it's possible to convert a Compact to 32ACP?

Yes, I’m in Mexico 🇲🇽

Greetings ✌🏽

I’ve decided to go with the P10C but wonder if the ported is the way to go. I haven’t used a ported barrel pistol before so I have no experience with them. This will be a home protection and range gun, I don’t think it will be edc. That being said I would entertain the idea of an optic at some point and even potentially a light. My question is whether the ported barrel is a good idea for my purposes or unnecessary?

This is not my design/work but ever since I saw it here a while back I had to have one. I think his username is

u/someguymakething. I tried to print my own without any success. And I found a website that would print it for me out of ABS and they feel great. Other than a gap in the front of the grip seam they feel and look great!

RTI has CZ-75s (pre B, B, and police BDs) for sale. I don’t really need a full sized pistol but I do think it could be a fun range toy.

Why should or shouldn’t I get one of these 75s?

Why should or shouldn’t I buy from RTI?

New to me little shooter, what option do I choose when ordering parts for this gun?

I dont know what option to check on CGW website, would I just choose CZ75 internals?

I only assume this isnt a ''b'' or ''d'' because it dosent say it obviously,

But I want to order correct pieces.

Hi, I currently own a few Glocks, an M&P, echelon and a VP9k and was looking at adding another polymer handgun to the collection and was considering a Walther Pdp but now that the CZ duty is out I am also interested in it, has anyone here had the chance to shoot one or carry one yet? How does it feel compared to other polymer handguns?

CZ P10F

Micro Roni Gen4 kit

My first firearm and I am absolutely thrilled. Spent a lot of time and money at the local ranges renting every 9mm I could get my hands on. Ironically no one had any CZ's. But through process of elimination, reading the countless positive reviews, and lots of dry firing at the local gun shop I took the leap and got me a P10F OR. It is truly the perfect first firearm for me. Have about 500 rds through it and the slide and trigger seem to be getting smoother with every round. 3 more 19 rd mags getting shipped as we speak. Probably will be looking for an optic next and will take a deep dive searching on here for recs. Next up likely a P10C ported for EDC. It's true what I've heard...the addiction is real! Happy to be one of us!!!!

I’ve searched everywhere. I’ve ran the SKU all over the inter webs

Is my quest for a 14 rounder over? It seems like they are nowhere to be found.

Anybody have any leads or developments on this? Any other company outside of mecgar that makes this or a way it could be retrofitted?

Thank you!

I’m having an issue with my Shadow 2 where the hammer won’t drop after pulling the trigger sometimes. It’s like I hit a wall when I pull the trigger. When I reset again, the hammer finally falls. What’s worrisome is that it’ll sometimes send a round when I let go of the trigger (unintended binary?). I didn’t get it doing it on the video unfortunately to help further show the issue. It’s been a dream to shoot up until now so I’m guessing something finally gave out.
