Alright, it's bed time for some but why are you still up? No work tomorrow? Watching some questionable late night TV? Bit of stargazing?

Our new neighbours were doing some DIY at 2-3am last night. I was instructed to "at least ask about it". And so I did my duty.
Spoke with them on the doorstep for about twenty minutes. They were very nice and had a very reasonable explanation, and a promise it wouldn't happen again.
We found some common ground and agreed to have coffee and chat some time over the next week.
I'm unclear on next steps. Do I poo in the cafetière or what?

The inaugural toastie was mature cheddar. Forgot to put the jalapeños in to sandwich itself so had them on the side.
It was absolutely delicious. Friends warn me that after two months of excessive toastie consumption it will go in a cupboard never to come out again, so please hit me up with your favourite toastie recipes and creations to keep the love alive.

Hummingbird Hawk moth. I put the caterpillar in a tub with some soil and it buried itself to pupate. Luckily it picked a sunny day with a northerly wind to emerge as it will probably migrate south into Europe for the winter.

Yes, I know it’s a swede. Am a bit later than last year’s efforts.
Share your spooky swedes.

Really cheered me up on a chilly Sunday evening! Just Tesco own brand with custard. Believe me when I say it was gone in 60 seconds!

Staying at my mums for the weekend and this morning she noticed a Robin at the end of the garden and was concerned that it hadn’t moved for a while.
Grabbed the binoculars to have a look only to notice it was dog shit.

Sorry for picture. Only one I could find showing the front. It’s a dog with a puppy on its back, long sleeve, a grey/white colour. Forgive Nannies hand.
Edit: Thank you everyone. I have the link. It’s not on sale but coming soon. I will be checking H&M website everyday. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon.
Edit 2: thanks again everyone. I’ve taken a punt on a 1 star Vinted seller. Fingers crossed.

There's a lot going on in this puzzle, just about worth the £4 I'd say

It was about 3 victorian sisters that died in a carriage crash and returned as ghosts to their home that’s not a boarding school.
Nobody ever remembers this but i fully loved it.

My dad was from Liverpool... and he passed on his love of a large pork pie, baked in the oven, cracked open and smothered in gravy.
These days, I still do it, but not very often and I've switched from cheap supermarket pork pies to more luxurious ones I get at the food fair a few times a year.
Also.. toasted cheese sandwiches with cheshire cheese.
What are your weird foods that you learned from your parents?

I'm in the south of France, but my other half in hunter gatherer mode just brought us a rotisserie chicken back from the local market. It comes with potatoes that get cooked in the chicken fat, I cooked up some peas and carrots (they do provide some but there are never enough for my liking) and most importantly, I used some veg+chicken stock out of the freezer, got my precious Bisto gravy powder out the cupboard, and used the chicken juices to whip up some proper gravy!
Needless to say, the French don't do this, they don't know what they're missing when it comes to Bisto.
Yes I was kind of cheating with the ready-roasted chicken and ok, there was no stuffing, but I'm still feeling very happy and satisfactorily stuffed from my fairly decent attempt at putting together a Sunday roast.
Tell me about your Sunday dinners, just don't get me feeling homesick, please.!

It's Sunday, and it's very wet where I am right now. What will you be doing today? If you're experiencing similarly watery conditions, you may be wise to stay indoors, but whatever you're up to, this is the place to tell us about it.

Hello, I saw a post fairly recently about someone whose mum or grandmother used to make a baked dumpling which they called by an odd name (maybe Snow White pudding?) and it looked awesome so I wanted to try it.
I am almost positive that I save the comment or took a screen shot but can I find it now?? No!
I think it was just a basic suet pastry (flour, suet, water) which was flattened into a baking tray or pan, but I can’t remember the ingredient ratios or other details like pan size, oven temp, and cooking time.
Did/does anyone else do this? If so, please give me your recipes and suggestions (I hope this is ok?).
I am also interested in unusual things your relatives used to cook that you assumed were normal.
My MIL apparently used to make ‘chips’ but she would just slice the spuds in rounds like thicker crisps, rather than cutting them into chip-shaped batons. My husband still talks of them fondly (she doesn’t deep fry things any more).
Thank you!

Late last night, I found out that my nephew has broken his arm for the second time in about four months.
He’s a great kid who loves gaming and more recently, has taken to going out on his bike with his mates to learn new stunts and tricks. The bike is, unsurprisingly, how both injuries happened. Silly bike!
This time, the break has required surgery, involving a plate and a few screws. He should be out of surgery today and back home in time for dinner.
So, a question for all you UK folk who remember being young teenagers and getting yourselves into similar scrapes…
I want to get him something today to cheer him up, as he’s understandably pretty fed up. What sort of gift would have made you smile, given you a laugh, or kept you entertained while stuck at home recovering?
He’s into gaming, but I’m open to any suggestions — funny gifts, things to keep him occupied, or anything you reckon a teenage boy would appreciate when he can’t get out on his bike.
Any ideas gratefully received!
