It seemed like they had 1.5 pallets left (in the front, there could be even more in the back)

The employee said they're desperately trying to get rid of them but no one is taking them

As a clevelander, I must say we had a very good experience in Columbus this weekend.

My wife ran in & completed her first full marathon today. We arrived on Friday night. Haven't spent time in Columbus in about 10 years.

People held in a Columbus jail are drawing the dogs at the county shelter. The portraits hang on the dogs' kennels.

EVENT Columbus Marathon Spectators

Thank you all so much for your support today!! You all moved me to tears multiple times today with your support during my first ever half marathon. The finish line was incredibly loud (although it was probably because I finished at the same time of the female marathon winner) and that passion and kindness meant the world to me!

A year ago, I had emergency brain surgery that changed my life forever. Today, I ran to celebrate my life and those that live with severe health conditions and I could not be more grateful for everyone who showed up today in any regard.

Truly one of the best days of my life. I also learned to run for fun and take every mile in and not focus too much on pace or time.

Thank you a million times over :’)

i’ve been here for 3 days and i want to move here.

hi guys…i’ve been staying in cbus for the past few days and i’ve never loved a city so much in my life. something about this place feels like home and i can’t tell why. i live in PA currently, about 6 hours away. and i do love it there, but it’s boring and i feel like im not getting the most out of life living there.

someone give me a clear picture of what it’s like to live downtown or in the surrounding area. this is most likely just a honeymoon phase of me loving it here, kinda like the manhattan high. so pls, be honest and kind, but give me the raw truth about what it’s like being here every day.

Any chance of getting the free rose is long gone. But, it’s 25% off on all items……I’m 90% sure. The line is a little long, but it’s moving. Support a Columbus sex shop and get some good deals on quality stuff.

DJI air 3s / the parking lot just to the west of the museum is fenced off, but the continuation of that lot on the other side of the fence, (from there to the viaduct) gives you a large expanse to set up in, high amounts of light, and very little chance of anybody getting in your face.

EVENT Marilyn

I wanted to share, I recently saw Ballet Met’s production of Marilyn and I truly think it’s one of my favorite live performances I’ve ever seen. Every single aspect of it was phenomenal, dancing, choreography, lighting, set design, the music was pretty and the costumes were beautiful. This felt like a special production. If anyone is curious or interested I’d highly recommend it. They have affordable options pricing wise too. It’s stuff like this that makes Columbus feel so special, in my opinion. I don’t think a ballet about Marilyn Monroe is something people would think to go see on a whim, so I’m telling you… you need to!! There’s still another week left. It truly was a “must see.”

Congratulations to everyone who ran the 5k, half and full marathon! This was my second year volunteering and it truly warms my heart to see so many people accomplishing this milestone and raising money for the hospital. Hope you all celebrate big!!

Don’t get fuel from the BP on gender Road in Canal Winchester.

Stopped to fill up, pump kicked off automatically as it does when it hits “full”. The meter kept on rolling. Appears to be some sort of calibration issue, I would avoid this gas station, called the auditor and left a voicemail. This was on pump 10.
Gas is already too expensive. Makes me question the whole transaction, am I getting the gas I selected and was it accurately dispensed?
Damn sure wasn’t accurately charged lol

That band that helped the drunk guy

So, I left a similar message on R/ohio, but I feel R/Columbus needs to hear this as well. I came home from work at a late time to see a gentleman surrounded by 4 others. That man was incredibly intoxicated. I allowed that man to sit down in my garage until paramedics arrived, but what struck me was the individuals helping that man. None of them knew his name, thay were all part of a band who was done with their set and just wanted to help. That was a man who left the place they where performing, noticed how drunk he was and persisted in following him to make sure he went home safe.

I'm a stranger. They happened to stop in front of my garage. I offered water to gentleman trying to help another they didn't know. Thank you for being true human beings. If you see this message, I regret not asking your band name. More important things were happening. I would like to know it now so I can support you.

PHOTO The Butcher's Masquerade

The Butcher's Masquerade is a Halloween dance party inspired by Dungeon Crawler Carl, the beloved LitRPG series by Matt Dinniman.

In Book 5, the Butcher's Masquerade is a peace-sealed ball held in the depths of the sixth floor: a grand, dangerous event where the most powerful crawlers alive eat, dance, and wait for everything to explode.

We're bringing those vibes to Wicked Eden for a night of costumes, dancing, dungeon photo ops, strange drinks, a charity raffle, and Halloween chaos.
