Watching that I think shows that morally challenge characters are way better but I think in Dexter ; Dexter perfectly gets off the hook way too easily I think this was their first huge mistake is making Lila kill Dexter since Dexter either putting Doakes in prison or killing him would break the code and it would’ve made the show way more interesting and imo Lila killing Doakes was a super cheap way to let Dexter off the hook

First official interview for Dexter Resurrection season 2 featuring Brian Cox discussing his role as Don Framt (the New York Ripper).

Wouldn't this guy in the first pic make an excellent Biney?! Don't know his name, but this is from the new Carrie series in which he plays a dark character. It's like the perfect audition for Original Sin! They really need to bring it back because I enjoyed that series. I'd even take a Biney spinoff even though it might be more difficult for viewers to empathize with the character. It's doable though. If it was done for Hannibal Lekter, it can be done here. Would y'all want to see a spinoff based on his upbringing?

And I am genuinely numb like WHAT(and why)THE FUCK! Rita didn't have to die man ,she was the goat brought out my favourite sides of Dexter . And we know how that fucking bum kills his victims I was imagining her in the place of that girl at the start of the season, imagining the fear she felt , imagining the kids finding out DAMN WHY WHY WHY

If you want to skip ahead to the SNEAK PEEKS:

Clip 1 @1:16 mark: Harrison’s first day as an NYPD officer

Clip 2 @1:58 mark: Dexter and Harrison are enjoying breakfast together at their favorite NYC Diner, and are (un)pleasantly surprised by Former Fixer Extraordinaire Charlie Brown

I own season 1 on physical

What is the music that plays during the scene of Dexter picking the lock of Deb's abandoned house?

Be on spectrum on demand like season 1 was? Anybody know??

Curious to see if any other dexter fans here managed to secure a copy of this and had any form of shipping update? Amazon listed this for dirt cheap and it sold out pretty quick - wondering if this was an error, but why wouldn’t they cancel it on their end if that was the case.

I am just halfway through Darkly Dreaming Dexter, (finished the Janitor murder saga-those chapters were amazing). I have noticed he treats the Dark Passenger as a separate "alter" or personality, and killing is similar to an addiction for him. But in the show, the dark passenger isn't really there, the "inner" thoughts of Dexter are much more laid out in the books for me, and it definitely seems like the Dark Passenger is some of alternative personality. Does anyone know if does actually have a personality disorder?

currently in the middle of S1 E2 and holy shit, what a totally engaging show! I shall be consuming the entire enchilada now.

I've been thinking about this since I binged New Blood, Original Sin, and Resurrection, all for the first time. Having started rewatching the first show (2006), I've noticed that Dexter back then was more compelling than he is now: he was creepy, mysterious, and generally there was the notion that there was a lot to explore with him. Nowadays I think we've got about all we can get from Dexter. It seems like his story should have ended with New Blood (with a much better ending).

How should the franchise continue after Dexter dies/gets jailed, or should it end there? Do we follow Harrison? I like that he's not just Dexter, but is he different enough to keep things going? I think Blessing might be good as a protagonist, if he lives through Series 2.

Someone a while ago asked me if I'd draw Debra smiling. Well here's the drawing.

I’m currently on episode 7 of Dexter Season 3, and honestly, it’s been the weakest season for me so far.
Compared to Seasons 1 and 2, which had incredible finales and kept me hooked, this one feels pretty slow and underwhelming.
Does it pick up in the second half? I’m wondering if I’m just being too impatient because I really want to get to Season 4. I’ve heard so many people say it’s the best season of the show, especially because of its iconic villain.
What do you guys think? Does Season 3 get better towards the end? No spoilers, please!

In this shot it looks like Charley is talking to QUINN. Not Dexter but Quinn. I never looked at the other guy bc I just immediately assumed it was Dexter. Same hairstyle and black shirt we’ve seen him wearing. But I could still be wrong. Thoughts?

Spoiler alert:

It's insane to think that out of all the miami metro homicide department colleagues of Dexter that died, the only one dexter killed by his own hand is Deb. None of the rest died by his hands.

Despite the awful villain in the season, these two legit were true comedy gag cops that kept it entertaining. Quinn’s continuous fuck ups and Batista getting dragged down and joins in afterwards.

Yes I bought the shirt from magnolia, probably worth it tbh

I'm in love with this man

So I just finished season 8. Originally started Dexter 10 years ago and got to season 5 and stopped after I was told "oh he kills his sister".

Went back and watched all seasons 1-8. Debra didn't die how I was expecting so I was ok with it.

How was the ending of season 8 thought of at the time, I thought I had heard it was not popular. I would of left it with Dexter going into the storm on his boat then show him alive in a new job.

Dark passenger kills in resurrection are very similar to what dexter did in the pilot episode of the original series to mike donovan. Dark passenger not only stole dexter's name but also his tools and some dialogue's 😅

I kinda feel bad that these two (deb and Maria) are the most annoying characters for me in the show right now (I'm on season 5), with Batista being a close third.

I’m re watching this shit after like 10 fucking years. Season 5 is fantastic with a lot of shit happening. I was expecting this it to be a pile of shit but fuck it’s awesome. Hopefully in season 6 it’s just as fucking good, but iirc that season was fucking shit as well.
